Has a funny but nice ring to it. We better all get used to hearing it.

Put a knife in Hillary, she is done.

And McCain has no chance against Obama. None.

Remember Glenn Close in "Fatal Attraction"? I wouldn't count Clinton out, but she definitely got plastered in Virginia. I thought she would do better there. Still, I think Texas is a wrap for her and Ohio is hers to lose, so don't turn your back to the tub.

Why does McCain have no shot against Obama?
Obviousley because
he got fed up with American misadventure around the globe.

Those who are behind this
barbaric banal show are not yet out.
The dolls are dancing.
The demons are invisible..

None will change this.

I think that McCain shouldn't be written off just yet, but the young seem to be voting in large numbers this time around, and seem to be getting behind Obama. They may just tip the balance, IMO.

Oh, I think that Obama has an excellent shot at the presidency. If I were 22, and still bright eyed and bushy tailed, I too might have been caught up in all that warm fuzziness.

What I am thinking about is a couple of years from now, when all the Obama groupies are shaking their heads and saying, " Whatever WERE we thinking, when we pinned our hopes on that guy"?

The shock may be coming. Don't be surprised when the reality hits!!!

Phoenix, did you bother to read anything I posted on your "Media creation" thread?

That said, I agree that it's way premature to be talking about "President Obama." Looking pretty good this morning, but a whole lot of time left in which a whole lot could happen.

Yes I did!

Soz- I think that it looks like he may very well win. I have made my statement about my "take" on him. I will say no more about it, but let's hold this discussion for a couple of years from now.

If anything, you have to be shocked by how poorly Clinton ran in Wisconsin. With the exception of a few rural counties, she lost everywhere. In the urban centers, she lost by 30%. She lost across almost every demographic. I really thought the Clinton campaign would have tried to fight even in Wisconsin to build some momentum before Ohio and Texas. Now, she not only needs to win Ohio and Texas, but win them big. A 52/48 win is as good as a loss when she was favored by double digits a week ago. Of course, you could restate this as "how well Obama ran", but I saw Wisconsin as a real test for the Clinton team.

OK.

Part of what I'm pointing to when I say that is my statements about how I DON'T think Obama is perfect, by a long shot. I DO think he's the best of the current field. I think -- based on a lot of research -- that I'd be far MORE disappointed in a President Clinton (take two) or President McCain. That doesn't mean that I will be universally thrilled with a President Obama.

engineer, I agree. I think it's some of each, but I do think that the Clinton campaign has been run badly, especially post- super Tuesday. And I do think that some extrapolations can be made about that.

Should we get there, let's hold the discussion eight years from now. If you evaluated Bill Clinton after two years, you would have called him a disaster (and perhaps you still do Laughing ); if you had looked at GW Bush after two years you might have been very happy.

Excellent! I feel he will return the country to the greatness of the Reagan years. I only lament the fact that Bush can not serve yet another term.
