I'm watching the news as usual and over and over and over again... almost all pundits except for the MOST radical right seem to agree that no matter who gets the democratic nomination they will defeat whoever gets the republican nomination and to a person they all say the readson for that is the 8 years of absolutely shitty leadership you've provided for this country.

You f*cked up your presidency... f*cked up foreign policy...f*cked up domestic spending and our financial health... f*cked up on protecting us from natural disasters.... f*cked up our standing in the world. I take no pleasure in declaring that in 1999 I was one of the people who was right.... you were, are, and will probably always be a disastrous loser.

How lucky for you you were born so rich.... or you'd be a greeter at Wal Mart.

I hope you think about your disastrous role in the running of this country and the way history will remember you ...AND the way you are anathema to your party for the rest of life, and I hope you live to be 200.

Have a nice day.

Come on, we're Americans! Put 'er there pardner! Not a damn one of us will see Heaven, not if we'd turned the joint into a monastery in 1970 we wouldn't, and even those who voted for the other guys have this mess on their hands. We're all in this together!

We weren't all just devil worshipers for a day in November, we did what we thought was right. We make the calls and take the falls - no regrets, no whining, buy the ticket take the ride. Maholo!

Now he was a bit of a goofball, but either you're a puppet or a lunatic to get that far and I'd rather a lunatic. It's over now either way, do we want to roll off this and overcompensate like a drunk driver? Do we want to hear it from a Democrat like now's the time to make amends for your misdeed when all we did was make a call that belonged to us? There's nothing to apologize for and nothing to be gained by swinging the other way and making the same sub-optimal choice twice when a perfectly good, moderate, heinously overqualified, ass-kicking maverick candidate is right before us.

Hell, forget putting from the rough, this could be the start of something good. He could be the next Jackson. Why punish ourselves? Why call each other names? The solution was built into the system all the time. This country is big enough to take the scenic route now and then. Come on, let's make a choice we can brag about to our friends! McCain Baby!

Only 343 more days until the putz is gone! Yay! Actually, that seems like a long time. Let's all hope he doesn't f*ck anything else up before he gets the hell out.

Do you suppose that the Iraqis wish that Gore had been elected in 2000 and that Saddam was still in power, filling mass graves with the bodies of his political enemies?

Now at least they have a fighting chance to elect their own leaders, and rid their country of the terrorist elements that Saddam sheltered and financed.

Do you suppose that the citizens of Afghanistan wish that Gore had been elected in 2000, and that he had responded to 9/11 in the same way that Clinton responded to multiple terrorist attacks (i.e. doing virtually nothing) on America during his terms in office?

That's how some folks on another thread reacted to your skepticsm about Obama. I think you found that a bit offensive. There are different points of view on many issues and, while there may be merit in disputing the arguments for & against them, there isn't any in merely castigating thos who hold different viewpoints from yours.

President Bush is recovering from a near fatal fall off his mountain bike that came close to killing Bill O'Reilly, the host of the "O'Reilly Factor" broadcast on FOX TV News.

Witnesses to the event say President Bush lost control of his bike when Bill O'Reilly poked his head out of the President's ass to get some air. Dan Davidson said the president made a "heroic" attempt to keep control of his bike, but the force of O'Reilly's head exiting the President's anal cavity proved to much for even a trained jet fighter pilot to handle.

O'Reilly was rushed to hospital for treatment of severe head injuries and facial abrasions. Doctors at the emergency room attending O'Reilly couldn't confirm the head injuries O'Reilly suffered were from the fall.

"There's fairly significant evidence that points to a previous existing condition in the case of O'Reilly's head trauma", Dr. Phil Thompson told the media during a briefing at the hospital. "I can say however, that the facial abrasions O'Reilly suffered were definitely caused by the President's hemorrhoids".

Later in the evening, O'Reilly denied he was coming out for air. "It's Matt Drudge's fault", said O'Reilly. "The guy just can't keep still, I told him there wasn't room for the two of us, but would he listen.....noooooooo...".

apples and oranges george. anyone with an iq above room temperature knows that ANY sitting president including Jimmy carter woulod have responded militarily to 9/11.

The clear intimation is that gore would have done nothing and that my friend is bullshit no matter who you are.

That is f---ing hilarious.

But seriously, he did fall off a bike at some point, didn't he? I swear I remember this happening, and I even think I saw a clip of it once, but now I can't find anything on it.

I know I'm not, in the words of another great liar of our times, Roger Clemens. "misremembering" it. Or am I?

A-HA! I'm not losing my mind! Here's an article talking about the bike fall, the terrorist pretzel that almost choked him to death, and his fall off a Seguay. God, what a f*cking dope.

From Dana Bash
CNN Washington Bureau
Saturday, May 22, 2004 Posted: 10:51 PM EDT (0251 GMT)

CRAWFORD, Texas (CNN) -- President Bush fell off his bicycle Saturday while riding on his ranch, according to White House spokesman Trent Duffy.

Bush, who was accompanied on his bike ride by his doctor, Richard Tubb, a military agent and a member of the Secret Service, fell about 16 miles into a 17-mile ride.

Bush suffered minor abrasions to his chin, upper lip, nose, right hand and both knees, but was able to ride back home, Duffy said.

Tubb treated the president at the scene. Bush was wearing a helmet and a mouth guard when he fell, Duffy said.

Reporters were told not to be surprised if the president is bandaged next time he appears in public.

Bush is scheduled to deliver an "important speech" Monday night about the transfer of political power in Iraq. The speech will be televised at 8 p.m. from the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Last June in Kennebunkport, the president fell while riding a "Segway Human Transporter." First lady Laura Bush witnessed the spill; a picture of Bush falling forward was published on numerous Web sites. He was not injured.

In January 2002, Bush fainted for a brief time in the residence of the White House while eating a pretzel and watching a professional football game on television.

At the time, Tubb said the president blacked out and fell to the floor from a couch but appeared to have recovered quickly.

Following that incident, Bush had a bruise on his lower lip and a scrape on his left cheek bone about the size of a half-dollar. Bush believed his head either hit the floor or a table next to the couch and that his glasses cut his face.

Despite Saturday's fall, the president and first lady still planned to go to a graduation celebration in Austin for their daughter Jenna.

The White House confirmed that Jenna did not go to her University of Texas graduation ceremony Saturday to pick up her English degree.

Her parents had already decided not to attend, saying they did not want to disrupt the event by their presence and that of White House security.

Jenna's twin sister, Barbara, graduates Monday from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, with a degree in humanities.

Her parents gave the same reason for not attending her ceremony. Aides said they plan to have a private dinner later.

BBB is showing the stress of 8 years of things not going his way.

Goodness knows what will happen to him when the "pundits" are wrong again in November. Probably, he won't shut up nor will the pundits lose their jobs. Situation normal.
