@Dutchy,
This is what we would be dealing with on the beach we normally go to...
http://blog.al.com/live/2010/06/journalist_dives_into_the_oil.html

I won't drink and ski, Daddy Dutchy. I will just be sitting on the dock when I have my beers...I like to ski in the morning...the lake is like glass.

Take care of yourself sweet man.

Can't wait until Izzie gets back. I miss her.

hugs ((Dutchy))

@Barry The Mod,
Evening crew, been sleeping most of the day after watching the opening ceremony of the World Cup Football tournament in South Aftica, followed by the 2 opening games. Hit the cot at 6.3oam this morning! Somehow I don't think I'll be able to keep this up for a month! The time difference is murder, will have to resort to replays during the day me thinks. Was great to see the enthusiasm of the African people, a great occasion for them, they have certainly done themselves proud. Our boys the "Socceroos" take on the mighty Germans early Monday morning, looks like another sleepless night coming up. Smile

I am not inferring that Brooke and I were making out, but from where I was standing I could make out Point Pleasant, Clermont County, Ohio; which as we all know was the birthplace of Ulysses S. Grant. Now, can anyone tell me what the 'S' in his name stands for?

No! I thought not.....Doh!

BTW Brookie; congratulations on your forthcoming exam results. I have been led to believe they are outstanding; way to go girl.

Of course we were making out -- what do you think we were doing! Razz Silly man! Thank you for the congrats. Is glad to have that over before I totally lost my mind/brain. Third year of PHD in the box. God help me to finish.

Dutchy, you must learn the art of sleeping with your eyes open. It's called killing two birds with one stone. A classmate took a picture of me while I was taking a power-nap on campus. She emails me this pic. I said, "What the heck!" I remember nothing about taking this pic. Yet, my eyes are open, my head is towards her, I am sort of smiling, and I am pointing my finger. All of that ..... in my sleep. Aren't I da' bomb!! Women are just so good at multi-tasking! Razz

Anyhow, wishing all is well, and I hope everyone has a great weekend!

@mismi,
Morning all, great to read all your happy comments especially beautiful Brooke's, I will take note of your advice, wish you a great summer vacation now your exams are behind you. Please watch your step witrh that Lothario tryagain, he'll break your heart. Wink

Agent wandel that's a pretty good result, a draw with England, on that showing you could make it to the second round.!

Getting hot spells danger mismi with tryagain lurking around, better have a could shower, How happy you must be for the boys performing so well in baseball, stars in the making.

Poor Izzie must be tearing her hair out not being able to communicate with the crew, we'll just have to keep plugging on without her.

Long weekend downunder, Queen's Birthday, lot's going on this weekend.

@mismi,
Good luck with the games today mismi.

We have the first of our regular season playoffs today. It's single elimination so we need lots of luck. Our outfield has been struggling all season Sad

@Stormwatch,
Hey Stormy - How'd the first playoff go? Outfield is tough on the boys...well for 10yo's anyway. Regular season brings very few hits out there...so they get bored and lose focus...then a hit will come their way and they are not ready. We always struggle with the outfield. Hope it went great!

We finished the tournament pool play yesterday. Won both of our double headers. We are the number one seed - so we get a bye for our first game. I am not always so sure about bye's. Our boys almost seem like they need consisitent play to stay ready for the next game...they get cold!

Let me know how playoff's go Stormy.

I am watching the World Cup right now...Denmark and Netherlands. Boys are still asleep. They are so tired.

Izzie - hope all is well there. Baz - so glad you all will get to visit and see a concert together. That sounds like great fun! Do keep hanging in there...know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hugs to all,
Gotta go get some things done.
