Ah well, no worries Someone's been doing it a while on my posts - but hey ho! You folk know me so... they can think what they like.
Tulip will be over in a mo and then we'll hopefully be off. Waiting to see to see what the wind conditions are like, gotta phone them in about 15 mins - it's about 20 deg already with a slight breeze here - so it's looking good to go for 1pm. They cater for "access" and say there's no probs with me not walking too well etc - but today, walking is A-OK. Can't wait.
As for summerdaze - well, I'll go enjoy mine and best of luck to you.
Catchya later crew - fingers crossed for good conditions and planning on taking some pics whilst up there.

Hey crew.Oops,did a very rare (for me) thumbs down on that stupid post and it's vanished.Is it a six and out rule?
Wishing the Captain blue skys when she jumps
Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllll - conditions are "wind in the wrong direction" at the coast for a jump off the cliff flight which would have been a half hour flight... soooooooooooooo... plan is, we are going to drive down (Redruth area) and hoping to get 2 towed flights in each (they only last around 3 minutes each but you get up to 500 ft). They can't guarantee anything 'til we get there - so it all depends on the wind - plan is for 2pm now If S-boy wants a go - then he'll have the opportunity too - he's always wanted to be a bird.

Have had such a brilliant day with Tulip and the kids... paragliding is juuuuuuuuuuuuuuust FANTASTIC! We will go again... and so will the children. The weather was incredible, the people were so lovely and we had the best time. Not in the least scary - just the most amazing feeling - peaceful - and so so easy - great great great
Waved to Canada and the US whilst flying high...
IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!

So here we are at Hells Mouth way down there in Cornwall
Tulip was first up " she had two flights " then moi into the harness and two flights " we had asked if the kids could go up, but this time, because the wind was changing and they had a bunch of students there that they had to get up, the kids couldn’t fly " but they will next time. The people were incredibly nice, very kind and really supportive ... it really was a very special day.
I did take the camera up with me... thought I was videoing " but obviously double pressed and only caught the landing " such a shame (doh)" the view was breathtaking, truly. (Have a VOB video but no idea how to upload it or convert it). (click screen if ya wanna peek)
The kids were fantastic too " very encouraging and proud " they had a great time on the beach afterwards whilst Tulip and I stayed at the top of the cliffs for a bit of a rest. Got back home late and S-boy has gone over to Tulip’s for a sleepover.
FQsis and family are all back safe and sound up country, long hot journeys back, but safe " missing them already and hoping we’ll get together very soon.
All in all, it’s been a fab half term. Weekend ahead " gonna have a quiet day tomorrow I reckon " then back to school on Monday and then sailing on Tuesday with the kids from school " gonna have to reschedule surgeons appointment... hmmmmm
Tired tonight, achey and coughy " but good tired Very happy for such a great week - Cloud 9.

ooh what a day am totally shattered! We had so much fun! Really enjoyed the paragliding! Iz you did so amazing and an inspiration to us all!! By the way have your milk here! yep we all forgot it was in the back of the car!
Don't listen to the negative and concentrate on the positive! You know what I mean! We had our own Summer daze!!!! Speak tomorrow and sleep well! think I need to! X
Ha, yep, realised the milk was in the car but didn't want you to have to drive back. Hope the dawgs were OK and hadn't widdled.

What's the matter summerdaze? Too chicken to post under your normal A2K ID? You sound highly confused. Sort of like someone that doesn't know if they should scratch their watch or wind their butt. We could all only wish to be half the person that Izzie is under adversity. Stop being jealous of her and get a life already. For gawd's sake. You are nauseating.

Izzie - I am so jealous that you got to go paragliding! I did that a few years ago. Just want to do it again. It was so peaceful to glide across the sky like a bird. I could feel your excitement in your posts and see it in your pictures. How sweet!! I love you.

Izzie that looks like a cool adventure....you are very brave!

Hey Babbling - ah, spent much time outside today snapping pics... my brook has been babbling on by and just looks gorgeous with everything growing madly along the riverbank. Boida Goil - some swirls caught my eye today - and I talked out loud to you ( know, first sign of madness - I talk out loud a lot in the garden and ohhhhhh and ahhhhhhhh) as I was snapping - nature never ceases to amaze me, the colours, the intricacies, the delicacy and the strength...
to me, this is poifect
and look at the shapes here - these leaves are so tiny, so detailed - looks like a butterfly
