Missed the last two pages, but sympathy with Baz.

You know what? Bloody NTL or Virgin Media nowadays intit well we had to replace a card in the cable TV box which was fine, no problems, but it's only gone and wiped out my e-mAIL HASN'T IT?
So we phoned the helpline like you do and got a semi-comatose inarticulate Scot who tried to explain that our system was too old to reconnect and we had to have a new modem and a new co-axial cable laid which will be done, free of charge luckily, but not till next Tuesday so our e-mails are out till then.

WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT? No warning at all. They need to separate the TV service from the phone and the internet. But they didn't tell us, they left us with an antiquated system until it went phut with the insertion of the new card.

I wonder if I will get reimbursed eight days of rental?
I wonder if pigs will fly?

Second that emotion about NTL McT.Bunch of tossers!Used them years ago but they could not sort out why,when the USS Enterprise went from screen left to screen right,the sound of her warp engines went from speaker right to speaker left,but only on Sky 1!Changed to BT.Sorted!

Hey Izzie, Glad to hear good stuff is happening or gonna happen even if I don't know what it is. If it's good and it's you, that's good enough for me.

I'm always kvetching that I don't understand half of what is said here. What's a FQsis?

She's my other half - Charlie... my best friend since we were kids and my soul sister. We finish each others sentences, we share every part of our world and feel each others thoughts.

So happy right now. We have just been really girlie girls - went shopping yesterday - treats! Fabulous! We are AB FAB!


Plan is for Tulip and I to have a little adventure on Friday - we are planning a Paraglide.... yep, the one where you jump off a cliff with just a kite above you... YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAAY - waiting for the phone call to hear back for confirmation that we can do that on Friday - YIPEE KI AI! - going to mega fun... what a buzz! Tulip wants to do an "on own" flight... me, I'm gonna sit in a man's lap and soar the skies... can it get any better than to be a bird over the Cornish Coastline... I think not! Add that to a massive adrenaline rush - and, we call that "living" - maybe a little on the wild side, but hey, you only get one shot - gotta give it a go!

Lots of plans in the making for the next two weeks - going to be very full on - just gotta get this body moving - ha!

Out for dinner tonight with K's parents in a little village pub - gonna be back late but will try and get back online to update you. Fingers crossed for the paragliding.

Have fun this week and weekend and I will be back to give you the scoop on the boys and how they did. So far, pretty un-All Star like! I think they're tired! I am making us all stay home and rest today. First game in the tournament is tonight at 5:30. Nice little drive down the road...we will probably be home after midnight. Not that that matters much. I seem to be on my non-sleep cycle right now!

Oh gosh, whatta few days... it's been brill.

Monday, FQsis and family arrived early - which was a surprise - we had a lovely time, sitting outside, drinking Pimms and just... being. Had a big family meal in the evening. Tuesday, spent the day in the city - shopping - being girls and just spending time together. K took the kids to the flicks - they were seeing an under 12 film so they were allowed to go in on their own. During the movies, S-boy had another of his nosebleeds - ending up with a paramedic being called coz it was a gusher (nasty) - anyhoo - all was OK but need to get him to a doctor as this is happening every day now. Last night - had another big family meal and ... well, it's just lovely.

Today - super stunnning day - really warm, got the table tennis table out of the garage and set up in the garden - Tulip and kids came over - just sat in the sun and enjoyed. Tonight, went out with K's parents to a beautiful little village pub near the town - fab food, creme brulee - to die for.

FQ has to work for the next two days and is going back to Essex on Friday... K, A-daughter and L-boy will be leaving tomorrow - then....

Ha - if y'all could see me right now - I cannot walk - I am hobbling badly. Just unbelievable. Stupid stupid toes, ankles and knees. Have actually had a "summer" cold since Sunday, proper poorly on Monday but improved a fair bit over the last couple days - no voice tho, I sound like a bloke with a very deep voice whose voice is breaking

Very happy that FQsis et al have been here - have just had the most wonderful time, it's been the very best - will miss them madly again when they have gone - but very much looking forward to Friday and jumping off a cliff.... or whatever and flying high. I will truly have wings and will be LIVE, LAUGH AND FLYING.


Will be catching up on the board tomorrow prolly - right now just making the most of our time together.

I agree, Bill, it is someone who is hiding under a different name. The post is mean-spirited and totally illogical. The fact that Izzie does so many different things is because she will not allow her problems to paralyze her. That is something to admire.
