@JPB,
Oh JPB...(I hear ya' Rock) I am running from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed. With Easter coming up and I had family this past weekend and we had the 4 games SAturday, one Monday night - I had been staying up late to talk to my cousin and then staying up to clean up, then getting up early to get breakfast for everybody...well...

I guess on my way home from work it was all quiet and warm in the car and I had to stop at the red light - and I just closed my eyes for a minute...felt the head jerk and my eyes popped open...thankfully - my foot stayed on the break.

I am going to bed early tonight. Really. I don't want to get sick...don't have time to. Would much rather be at the games....I am just going to have to let something go...I have to think on that for a bit though.

I will be fine. It was a good wake up call. Wink

((JPB)) How're you?

((Rock)) Yeah...not that being flipped the bird would bother me like it used to. Razz

@mismi,
"Time out!"

It's up to you to call it, and it's hard to do, but sometimes moms just have to call time out. Not for them, but for you. Sometimes we want other people to understand how stressed out we are without having to tell them but the real world doesn't work that way, hun.

Everything happens on schedule because you make it happen on schedule, and unless someone else has an inkling as to what it's taking out of you (they don't get it by osmosis no matter how much we wish them to) then they'll continue to think that everything is a-ok. We aren't are own best friends at those very times when we need to be just that.

What would you tell a friend who was asking your advice (or just venting) in these circumstances? Would you tell her to find a way to cut back a bit? Or, would you tell her to eat some more spinach so she could carry a heavier load? Don't expect more of yourself than you would reasonably expect of someone else.

love you bunches, hun. I hope you find a way to get some rest soon.

your herd is listening and talking to you... you have to call Time Out Dixie. You simply must get some rest and some good sleep. You do so much - it will end up making you sick. I know it's easy for us to say sitting on the sidelines - but your red light was your sign!!!!!! Time to stop girl. Please, try and get some rest over Easter - let the Prof take the load for a little bit before you wear out. Please try... OK. Love you so much Mis. x <do understand how awfully hard it is to stop... you wanna keep going - but sometimes you need to make the call... and you have to have a little time out - oh, wish I could hug you for real...>

MaMaVerby - ahhhhhh, poor Hrehaan - it is horrible when they get jabbed - I'm sure we actually feel it happening Shocked What you need to remember is that he won't remember any of this... it's harder for you to watch him because it's the most difficult thing watching anything happening to your kids... I'm glad the meds are helping - every day science and medicine improves - keep your faith, let the docs do what they need to do and your Littler One will get stronger and stronger. Look how far you've both come since October - you are doing a brilliant job - keep going and talk when you can (((((((((((((MaMaVerby - Hboy))))))))))))) x

Letty - ah loved that WOODY HERMAN & Stan Getz, Shorty Rodgers - here's another with a Swinging Herd from '64. That hadda be a good year Wink

Aha - TC gal - there you be - hope the new computer arrives soon and you'll be back online. Glad you're gonna have a good weather weekend - you would just not believe what it's like over here....

Quite incredible really!!!!!!!!!!! Very pleased to see you and hope you have a fab Easter ... gosh, is it really Easter already!?!!!!!!!!

Rock - good to see you on the deck - glad things on the upturn in KS - give those kitties a scritch for me and send my love to Gram.

JPB - agree with all you say - so good to see you too - have a fabulous Easter with the girls and MrB and hope you get some rest in too Very Happy

jw - ah, 'tis good to see all our crew jumpin' on board... will you hug little Annie from me please - hope all is good in your world and the big kids are all well and happy. Enjoy your Easter.

soooooooooooooooooooo, last day of term tomorrow and the little fella goes off to his Dad for the weekend... so I shall be on the deck!

Now, all we need is for our (((((Bosun)))) to jump onboard and our (((((Blue Fella))))) to fly back in the nest...

@Izzie,
Morning crew, Bosun back on deck after a few days of magnificent shore leave. Visited a beautiful little fishing village some 300 odd miles south from here on our rugged south/east coast. Look at the lovely tranquil view I woke upto every morning. Loved to have stayed a little longer alas Easter was all booked out.

Do you know what? I was supposed to go an a hot-air balloon flight today, a birthday present from last year, but guess what else?

Cancelled, because of bad weather. Well that was no surprise...but we got an email yecterday, please re-schedule.

Now we've just had a violent hailstorm. I wish I could change places with Dutchy for a day or two.

@JPB,
This is good advice JPB...I will try to do better...I just keep thinking one more weekend and things will settle down. I guess that is just not the case. I have my brother and his family and my mom and dad coming up for the weekend. I found out about it last night Very Happy - but this is the only weekend my brother and his family can make it because their boy plays baseball too. And they want to see their nephews play ball. It's also my Daddy's birthday so it would be nice to have him here. Anyway...maybe after this weekend things will settle down. Wink

Thank you Izzie...I will slow things down.

I got a good nights sleep and feel pretty good this morning.

Beth, your and Izzie's sheep shenanigans are making me smile.

Hugs y'all...have a good day.

@Izzie,
Morning mismi and Izzie and anybody else around this time of the day. Good Friday here and I have just served Mrs. B breakfast, hot cross buns, couple of soft boiled egggs and a a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. No half measures by this hubby, coffee to follow. Smile

Below another view of the rugged coastline where we stayed. There are dozens of wreck sites here where the many migrant ships from England came to grief in the years 1840 to 1890 because of hidden reefs and bad storms. Many monuments in memory of the victims are everywhere.
