Hey MaMaVerby - so is there a chance you could move back to Mumbai??????? Really, can you go back? What does Eby want to do? Tell us as much as you can or mail me if you wanna... oooooooooooooh... it would be good to move hunni. Hugs to you three (((((((((((Verbies)))))))))))) and smunches for Hrehaan. xxx

Ah... wait 'til you meet Bazza, Verby - he is a sweetheart, a gentleman, I'm proud to call him one of my closest friends. He's a good chap! He is soooooo tall Razz

Missy - how's that little J doing? Any luck at the dentist. x

Well, I'm back at work tomorrow - last 3 days of term and then Easter Break for a couple weeks and off up to see my sis and second family. S-boy will be coming to work with me - he loves one of my teachers who taught him when he was a wee S-boy - as soon as he sees her he runs up and hugs her big and is so chuffed to bits because he's allowed to call her by her name... not MrsB like the other kids do... actually, that is what the other kids call her - she's never been called by her surname - she's always called MrsB. She's so lovely.

You know what's nice - there's hmmmmmm...10 of us working there as perm staff +1... and each day when we walk in, everyone hugs one another, makes each other a cuppa, there's usually cakes or biccies around - it's really nice - it's such a lovely school. There's some of the usual "mutiny on the Bounty" occasionally which, you know, that's what happens with the teachers because they are all part-timers (except for the Head) so there's kinda tripping over peoples toots on occasion.. but for the most part... we're a happy little band and I'm more of the "ear" to the complaints department - they come in to the office, have a little whinge, the odd b!tch and moan, then, we just get on with what needs to be done. I do love my job.

Anyhooooo... sorry, rambling a bit tonight... processing...

No word from R-boy.... <sigh> I've rung the care staff three times now... I'm guessing they don't wanna tell me the bad news so aren't phoning me back. I'd rather just know tho - they said he wasn't too good on Friday... but they never called me back after I rang again this morning.

I was close to turning up today, with S-boy. I rang to say we were coming over as we were in the city... I had it all in my head as to what to say... but there was no reply. Prolly just as well. Hey ho.

S-boy and I went into the city and took the laptop back and will have to wait and see whether they will replace it or fix it... I'm hoping it will be replaced, but I doubt it.

So........... that's another day gone... very tired today, very tired. Bed soon.

Lovin' ya crew. x

@Izzie,
Hey there Iz...

We didn't make it to the dentist...but he doesn't seem to be in too much pain. Only when he bites down on something. We are trying to get in tomorrow.

Busy day. Work tomorrow. Another game tomorrow night.

@mismi,
Missy, How are all your beautiful boys? Grandbabies all good. 6 yrs old (just started school), 4 yrs, 2 yrs and 1 yr. All beautiful. Parents not so good, hubby's mother - dementia and in a home now, my father in a wheelchair and not long before he has to go into a home - but life goes on. Hubby has decided to come out of retirement again (third time) hence I have a bit of "me"time. Nice to talk to you again!

@deedeexx,
Good talking to you too DeeDee...so sorry to hear about your parents though. I know that is hard. But the "me" time you are getting is AWESOME! Oh those grandbabies....it goes fast doesn't it?

My boys are great. They are playing baseball right now and it is killing me! I can't believe how busy we have been. But at the same time I love it. I shouldn't complain. I am working three days a week teaching music to preschool aged children and I love it. So great people I work with and the kids make me laugh. I love them so much!

School is almost over and we will be heading for summer soon - so that makes me happy!

Take care of yourself...it really is so good to see you!

Evening Dutchy,afternoon Verbs,morning Captain and sushhhhhhh,the yanks are still sleeping Razz .
Dutchy-was watching the Grand Prix from Melborne early Sunday morning and,just for once,we had better weather here in the UK Shocked Smile
Captain-went to a different Pub on Sunday which has just been taken over by an Irish Guvner.On the food side he's trying to introduce traditional Irish fare.I had bacon and cabbage with new potatoes,served with a creamy sauce poured over the top (yum yum!) washed down buy a pint of "the black stuff".
And Verbs,what a star you are.Who else would be willing to do a 1038 mile round trip just for a 24 hour visit? THANK YOU! Can't wait to meet you,Eby and H boy.(Get there quick or else the chocolate will melt!).

I must echo the Captains feelings about this crew.Whatever we do,we do it because we want to. "It's what you do,in a herd!" and what a great herd I'm sailing with Very Happy .

And your munchkins - can't believe they are that big... oh, I bet they are so gorgeous - has the little fella got a mop of blonde curls still? Have you painted anything lately... do you get time to do any painting.... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, do show us your paintings if you've done some.... it's so good to see you - I hope you can get back on the deck some more - I know our BEAgle will be delighted to see you when he returns.

MaMaVerby - ah, well, you'll need to work on Eby about the move - maybe if they keep asking for him he will consider moving back - I hope so for you. How's our wee Hrehaan doing? You got any pics to show us?

Got an email from The House today, R-boy said no. Nothing I can do. Sad.

However, couple more days at work and then a couple weeks off and time to spend some time with FQ and the family. Also planning on seeing G's kids who are home from Uni which will be good - haven't seen them since Christmas and S-boy has Easter Eggs for them.

So, lovin' y'all and I must say it one more time - Indeedee - it's soooooooooo good to see you back on the deck. Now if you spot Babbling Brooke - send her on over too - we've been missing that girl in O-hi-O.

@Izzie,
Hi back at you Izzieliz, Missed yabbering away with you all. Yes, dad is almost 84 but declined so badly is in a wheelchair now. Lots of assisted nursing happening and nurses also look after him on Wednesdays for four hours so my sister and I take mum out for luncheon and a "flutter". Don't know how much longer mum and I can cope even with the nursing before we have to put in a nursing home but will hold out as long as we can. It seems as though it's either your mind (as in hubby's mum) goes or your body. Sis has retired so she is able to help a lot too. Haven't done much painting lately but plenty of ideas floating and starting to get itchy fingers again.

See you are still into your photography - you are extremely good. Had a lovely welcome back from Bazza and Missy. And wow MaMaVerby. Love to see some pics. Sorry about R-boy. Bet S-boy is sooo big now.

I heard we were in a herd?

For reasons Letty might know, that reminded me of big band jazz and the Woody Herrman Orchestra (the "Thundering Herd").

Toot toot boom bam.

Greetings from the college library. Still waiting for our new computer.
Nice to see you back Deedee!
Good for S-boy re: the mark upturn!
It's getting busy here. The Mr only has three more weeks of school and lots of projects on the go. I'm packing it in at work in a couple of weeks for my summer "break" so I can get organized.
It's supposed to be a glorious weekend for weather here. Hope everyone has a happy Easter and somebunny treats you well!
