@verbivore,
Oh Verbs...I think the twins first year of life I always had something on me, snot, or a food smear...babies are pretty yucky sometimes aren't they? Believe it or not...it gets easier as far as taking care of them is concerned. He will be messing up less diapers and spitting up less as his little digestive system matures. Just remember that precious smile from that sweet little mouth.

I am sorry Eby got to go and left you though. The Prof has been all over as well. It is a sorry thing to get left behind sometimes. I hope your day will come where you get to go as well.....((Verby)) Keep your chin up sweet girl.

Izzie - your last post made me smile and concerned all at the same time! Hope you made it up and slept soundly once there.

Circus day...just a few hours. woohoo!

hugs all, must keep the nose to the grindstone until it's time to play!
Very Happy

@Izzie,
It's funny I have experienced the frustration of not being able to get on as well...I think it is because it is a habit to check in and when I can't do it - it feels like I am missing something.

How are you feeling girl? I hope better. Keep resting.

We are just home from the circus. I LOVED IT! I love the circus. I want to run away and join the circus. So do the kids. The Prof was the only one that said he thought it would get boring. Nah. No way... Wink

Going to watch the rest of Saturday Night Live and going to bed!
Nitey Nite!

Bosun,are you getting settled in front of the telly? It's been 74 years since Brit Fred Perry won The Australian Open Tennis Championship.Today,Andy Murray (GB) goes up against a certain Mr Federer (Switzerland).In their past 10 games it's six/four to Andy.My head says Federer,my heart says "COME ON ANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" What a way to start a Sunday morning!

BTW,the last Scot to win the Oz Open was a guy named Harold Mahoney way back in 1870 something.

@mismi,
mismi I have always wanted to find this book:

Very Serious Children by Caroline Adderson

It's about two brothers who run away from the circus so they can go to school and eat vegetables Razz

Waving to the crew as I prepare to head for work -- bundled up -- it's freezing out there!

@Tai Chi,
Morning crews, the Bosun relaxing this Monday morning after a hectic but pleasant weekend.

Sorry Izzie for Andy's defeat but Master Federer just to good, but I know you like him too, so you won't be feeling to bad.

Tai Chi I feel for you venturing out in that cold weather whilst I'm walking around in my shorts and nothing else.

Hi to mismi , verbivore, McTag and Harbourmaster hope you're all well.

@Roberta,
Evening Crew

Ahhhhhh Boida... he did indeed - but what a good match. Gutted for Andy - but Roger deserved the win and he is simply the best tennis player in the world - love that chap!

TC - good to see ya gal - it's a bit brrrrrrrr over here too - been snowing on and off all day but no sooner has it snowed, then it's disappeared. Been out over to Tulips today as we thought the snow was coming in heavy - there was none here but a blizzard over there - which disappeared after about 5 mins.

Busy, busy day - have been working most of the night and just waiting to hear back from my boss - need to go into work tomorrow to sort some things out.

ha - S-boy dropped his dinner plate, fully laden, on the carpet tonight. Tomatoes... how do you get stains out of the carpet. Gonna need to get a carpet man in. Actually, would prefer to rip up the carpets and have wooden floors, but, that 'aint gonna happen any time soon.

Ah well.

AlexChap, where are you then a?

(((Blue))) - miss you. xox

Missy - how was your day? Did you have a good time with your family girlie?

BEAgle - you back on the deck yet? Hoping your trip was wonderful.

Hugs to y'all. Gotta get an early night, school run in the morning...

Lovin' y'all. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ah, you're such a tease! Blooming freezing here and got that many layers on I look like the michelin man. Cross posted with ya, glad you had a great time. Yep, I was delighted for Roger - he's so gorgeous and such a lovely lovely man. Ah, did you see his wife there, she was just so loving her man win. Bless them and their little baby.

Talking of which.... MaMaVerby - how you doing and Baby-H? Sorry I wasn't around much over the weekend - busy busy and fighting to get enough hours in the day.

love, hugs. x

@Izzie,
It was a very laid back day. The local sporting goods store had an amazing sale. We got a lot of baseball stuff for really good prices. Cleats, helmets, under armour, baseball pants, batting gloves...75% off. They are cleaning out before the season gets underway. It was an amazing deal. G-baby got a pair of UnderArmour cleats for $10 - all three of the boys got Under Armour shirts to keep them warm for $15 a piece - that's pretty awesome. So all of my boys are overly excited. It made me tired. I took a nap.

Tai Chi - that's funny. I was telling the Prof. how cool I thought it would be and he "aaaaaa'd" it. pff. Sometimes he can be so unadventurous. Wink

Well...my nap made me groggy now. So I need to go make me a cup of tea. Maybe that will help. We shall see.

Yeah...Dutchy's just trying to tease the ladies. It's below freezing here - horrid. It will not be long until we have my kind of weather. Makes me happy...and there are robins everywhere. Which is a wonderful thing. Still...right now...v-v-very ch-ch-chilly.

Hugs Iz and crew...

@Dutchy,
Hey BEAgle... not at work today... but I'm already working - emailing County and trying to get some answers to difficult questions. I've been taking photos too (had a busy hour) - the school bus got turned around - it's minus 5, ice everywhere and none of the little roads have been gritted again - so tho S-boy managed to get on the bus back on the main road, there's a few kids who won't be going to school today who are stuck in the village til the roads are a little safer. I can't imagine my school's bus will be running, so it may be pretty quiet up there. I do have to go into work today but will take time off in lieu - I seem to spend a lot of hours working at the moment, most unpaid. HA! Then, have a meeting at S-boys school later this afternoon.

It was a super stunning sunrise - such soft colours in the sky - hands were shaking it was so cold. Beautiful. The moon was big and so white... but hid behind the clouds before I could capture a shot. I had a moment with it tho, so that was good.

OK, need to crack on - will be back later.

Hope you're having a good day Bosun. x

@djjd62,
That's gonna be a big job. It'll make it a lot warmer though dj.

Funny situation at work yesterday. My supervisor was talking about her property just outside of town and a colleague was razzing her about inviting us all out for a bonfire etc and she said, "Well, okay. Maybe we could do something this summer," to which I replied, "Oh sure, have a get-together when I'm not around." They both turned to me and said, "What? You're not taking 4 months off again!" Oops. Embarrassed So the cat's out of the bag I guess. Just have to give her a firm date in April. Seems a long way away given the weather here now but I've got to start getting organized.

@Tai Chi,
That is going to be a big job Didge. But it looks so nice and it will be much warmer.

Oops Tai Chi! Well...it's something to look forward to! I can't wait until April...I need warmness. Smile

Long Monday. So glad it is almost over. But I still have the children until 8:00pm (bedtime). Mommy seems to be a bit short tempered today. Shocked poor little whipper snappers.

Hugs to all!
