the boiler is getting a good run!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday found a day of folk who will try (unintentionally) and bring me down down down a river of tears

some spilt over today - but that's done now

so, I've got a gert big paddle and I'm paddling hard and heading back up the river Very Happy 2010 is going to be a great year.

I'm very fortunate to be here Very Happy

Gosh - I've been on this forum 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tulip just called, she was going to come over with the kids, but the ice is terrible out there and we aren't gritted here so we're not going to risk it - not sure I will be able to get the little fella to the school bus in the morning... hmmmmmmmm... we'll see at 6.30am! @JPB,
Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh... I can use words and my brain these days thanks JPB - I just need something that stops my bottom lip quivering as I speak very quietly and very pointedly. I've got boots on (girlie boots - yay for FQsis) so I can stomp my feet too - yayayay for stompy feet - not that anyone can acutally see me stomping - but I know I am Razz

ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I found the remote control.... oh good grief - I lost that 2 weeks ago - it's been driving the little fella insane because every time he needs to change the volume he had to run over to the haunted fish tank and push the button.

GOOD JOB!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH weather report... we may be getting snow again Shocked hmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe sleety - hmmm, that's not good for the ice.

oh oh, SNOW ON FRIDAY - OH........ gosh, little fella is staying at school on Thursday nite... hmmmmmmmm

@Izzie,
Hello Izzie, hello JPB.
Handing you a steaming mug of tea. Do not ask what type. Lost the string tag thing. Not a bad song title. Snow, snow, ice and ice. Break in the river of tears, time to sing. Lost the string tag thing.
Entertained myself anyways.
I am, I am Izzie, no complaints here. Yet. Thank you for asking.
See you later.

@Izzie,
They are saying that we are going to have snow down here as well...maybe Thursday. But honestly - I have gotten to the point where I don't really believe them. They say it - it does not happen. Hope high...hope dashed. Dang.

Alex..you are an amazing lyricist....you should send that in. Wink

All of you - STAY WARM...it's so c-c-c-c-cold!

@Izzie,
Good morning here we are Izzie, feeling very bright at 6.45am, been up since 5, and listen to this. Had my morning walk and a quick dip in the sea, it was lovely, so reinvigorating, such a beautiful warm morning. Hope this makes you feel better as I just heard its going to be minus 14 in some parts of England. Smile

Good to read all the chatter from overnight, you girls gave me a few laughs, I feel out of place though, I'm not procrastinating, have no marks on my belly (tummy is girlish Izzie Smile ), I don't worry about my age, I have a good crop of hair and I don't worry about the weather, my clothes and my looks. Laughing

Waves to all.

@Izzie,
Lord have mercy. You know you live in the South when they predict "Snow showers" on Thursday and the store is already out of bread and milk. Sheesh. Anyway - it's not going to snow...it just never does. Of course if I don't go get the bread and milk, then it will snow and you know if we get a couple of inches here on my hill...well...we ain't going nowhere....not that I believe in Murphy's law or anything like that.

Izzie - I hope you sleep good girly. I am still piddling around avoiding what few things I have to do before I go to bed.

@mismi,
I woke at 5.45am...

spinning still - i hate that.

my heating went out in the night - ack - it''s bloody freezeing down here - I need to climb back into bed for half an hour whilst the house warms up a little - just came down to get a cuppa. The car is an ice block - I just don't know if I will be able to get the little fella to the school bus.

Ho hum.

Nem'mind.

@Izzie,
School bus just called - they have snow up there (much further North) and all school buses have been cancelled and school will not be opening. Roads are very dangerous. S-boy is gutted - he loves school and is dressed up all ready and rearing to go.

On the other hand, my school has a non pupil day and my boss wants me to go in which is 11 miles away on very hilly tiny roads ... I've said I will wait for a bit as you can't actually see my car for ice and our tiny roads aren't gritted. hmmmmmmmmmmm

i'm blue - need to pick up again.

Yo, Izzie, keep your pecker up, girl.

We're snowed in here, too- but not far from a railway station, fortunately.

My class is cancelled this morning- cars can't get about.

I was in Essex on Saturday and Sunday....luckily the snow held off enough to allow us to get home, Sunday evening.

@McTag,
Hey McT

Glad you got home safely - wasn't Sunday a beautiful day after the snow at New Year? We were in Chelmsford on Saturday and were looking out for you in "The Market" mall! Girl shopping - it was fun - I don't do shopping but with FQ - it was the best time.

Well, the snow has truly arrived now - stopped again after half an hour but we are whiting up nicely - all the schools are now apparently closing. It is so gorgeous out there - I love the white with the green and the trees look so lovely.

Need to go out with my camera I reckon. Get some peace.
