@verbivore,
Hi verbivore, just relax and take stock of things, look after number one first, then your family, other people go to the end of the line! Gettging your health and strength back is important above anything else. No doubt the girls here will give you some good advice as how to cope. Take care. (((verbivore)))

@verbivore,
Hey MaMaVerby

'Tis gonna be difficult for a while having the in-laws etc in the house living there for a bit - you've just got home and need to have some time for just you and Eby. When you feel strong enough then you can thank them for all their help and support and make it clear, or get Eby to make it clear, that you are able to manage. Right now, you should do as Hrehaan does, just eat, feed, sleep, eat, feed, sleep. You're still running every two hourly schedules - you must rest in between times OK so that you can get your strength back. It's been such a tough month for you, massively exhausting - give yourself some time to get stronger and just hold onto to that little baby... eat.feed.sleep.eat.feed.sleep. Let the others sort themselves out, you concentrate just on you and Hrehaan right now.

@Izzie,
Just to say my PM system is not working properly still - I have received an email notification that I have been sent a PM but there is nothing in my inbox. Waiting for it to be sorted - was told months ago it had been. If the sender has my email address, could you please use that. Thx.

@verbivore,
Hey there sweet Verby. My prayers are still with you. I know it's hard...are you having to go back to work?

Deep breaths and one day (moment sometimes) at a time.

@whiteviolet,
Oh, hi, Mismi! Hope all ok. I've had a very tumultuous year, a tragic family situation is continuing and am just emerging from 3 months serious illness. However, I graduated in the summer so can return to my home city next year, after my younger son's wedding end January. x

We are in Enfield, by Southgate, a nice part of the world.

Lovely weather in London today. Did not get enough time to contact Bazza, apologies for that, but 'er indoors' back recovered well enough for us to take the Piccadilly Line to Holborn, Central Line to Bank, and we walked to the monument of the Great Fire of London (1666) and walked up to the top (311 steps, it's a bit of a peg).
Earth has not anything to show more fair: dull would he be of soul who could pass by a sight so touching in its majesty

Nice.

Walked along Cannon Street to St Paul's, and went over the wobbly bridge to the Tate Modern for lunch. I had cod in beer batter, chips and mushy peas, and a pot of tea.

Nice again.

Then, to walk off the fish 'n' chips, we walked by the Embankment as far as Somerset House (ice rink in courtyard, very popular) to The Strand, and thence to Trafalgar Square. Exibition in National Gallery, religious pornography and not free, so didn't go in there, we went up to the restaurant in the National Portrait Gallery and had cappuchinos.
After that, walked to Leicester Square and caught the tube home. Nice baby on tube laughed at us.

@Izzie,
Morning Izzie, cup of tea for me too please, just having my breakfast. No Baileys thanks. Big day ahead as the family is arriving tomorrow. Trust your day went well. Traced McT's footsteps in London, same path I took on my last visit to London, wonderful memories.

@Izzie,
Hi Izzie, lull before the storm. Laughing The little hurricanes should be breezing in just after lunch, about 3 hours from now. Heard from them last night, doing the trip in two stages 300 and 400kms each day.

Looking forward perusing your photobook. Thank you for the smooches. (((Izzie)))
