@mismi,
So pleased to hear you can bank on the Prof. you're obviously made for one another. What about this Rudolph tonight, someone else mentioned him on an other thread, what's the significance?

@Dutchy,
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer is a Christmas Special that comes on each Christmas...it is a kind of tradition for the boys - actually it was for me too when I was a little girl...it has been around for a long time! They get so excited when they see it. Really pretty cute. But wow...are they loud when they get excited. I need to get them settled for my own sanity. Laughing

@mismi,
mismi, I'm so sorry to hear about the prof being laid off. You are amazing to be so positive...you are strong.

My husband worries about the same thing happening. He works for a newspaper and papers aren't doing so well these days. Between people getting news on line and this stinky economy, one never knows.

Stay strong and positve and good things will come your way.

I am feeling very ashamed of myself for even complaining about my job when some people don't have one at all Embarrassed Sad

@djjd62,
It really do Didge. Thanks - it is a little scary

I love Rudolph too.

Stormy - no need to feel guilty! Jobs always wear you down...it's a conundrum. That doesn't look right - but you know what I mean...hate work...but gotta have it! One thing I know is - as far as this family is concerned - we will ALWAYS want to read the paper. We love getting it first thing and dividing it up and swapping up. I just read what the professor makes me (editorials - yuck) and then all my little social scenes and foodie stuff.

The boys are in bed and the house is quiet. It is so wonderful. Going to go watch my recording of The Mentalist. I just love Patrick Jane. Rally I doooo.

@Tai Chi,
...thanks Tai Chi...that is today. Who knows what attitude I will have tomorrow? But I won't think about it right now...after all - tomorrow is another day. (Really - I must stop Wink all the quoting is - well...goofy - and I haven't even been drinking- this is totally me. Embarrassingly enough.)

Izzie, the good news is that I've taken my last dose of hard-on-the-stomach antibiotics. Now I can return to taking my hard-on-the-stomach anti-inflammatory to keep my feet in working order. Today was busy but better than yesterday even if it was another night shift. Still tired, still sore, marginally less cranky Razz

for all who are interested (well mostly TC and Mr. FI), the body that was found on the shore shore of Lake Erie a few days ago, was that of a missing Ohio man, his boat was found in October on the lake near Ohio, police don't suspect foul play

@mismi,
Hello crew. Shining star atop the tree here. Please form two lines.
Thank you Izzie for that song.
Mismi. Does this mean your other half will be home more for the holidays? Plenty of good.
More rain here. Fish are biting. Iron skillet ready.
Santa came early for me. Well,..I helped him out a bit,...last Saturday. Knuckle numbing test drive in windy twenty one degree weather. Deck the halls,..fa la la..

Good day all.

@alex240101,
He will Alex- that is the good thing about this - (always a good side - I think) He will be off the entire two weeks the boys are home.

You like fishing in cold weather? No, no...once it's in the 50's here I call it quits...60's I can deal. But knuckle numbing does not sound worth it...even if there is fish in the pan. You manly man you.

Got work today. Subbing for another school. That's a blessing...though it means double timing it this afternoon - so much to do around here to get ready for Christmas. Christmas dinner is always here...The Prof's family comes and hangs all day. So - this is when I get my cleaning done. But - with working the entire week it does make it a little more difficult to do. The good thing is...not a lot of time to mope. Busy-ness can be a good thing too. One thing for sure...when my head hits the pillow I am out cold.

Have a great day y'all,
mis

Got money for hols and have just done a mock practical exam for massage went ok but finished a little early. MMM. but the good news is I might have somewhere to do massage! Some one I know is opening a beauty therapy shop and she is willing for me to do massage there! How great is that!
