More of me to love, that's all. ((Dutchy))

I see Try took time out of his busy schedule to come see us. Hope it was a Happy Whatever for you where you are. As to my turning my affections toward Dutchy - that would mean they would have been elsewhere before...huh. You? And as to you playing the field - well...it seems there is no end to those females who enjoy seeing you show up every oncet awhile. So live it up Blue Boy. Wink Hope that arse is not too tender from the uh...shock it received. ((Try))

Hi Alex! Happy Monday to you.

Hello Izzie. Try not to over do. I know - not easy - I hate that you are having to go to work. But you have a great attitude. I am trying to adopt it for my own. Hugs to you hun. ((Izzie))

Heya Beth and Didge and TC ((ALL OF YOU))
JPB and Wandel ((YOU TWO TOO))
Rock ((YOU))

Gotta go to work. Must find my gumption somewhere. That tryptophan in the turkey seems to have sapped it. Tryptophan? Isn't that what makes you want to nap? Or is that just the rainy weather?

Verbs - all of you...still praying and thankful!

hugs to you all...have a great Monday (and sleep well dear Dutchy)

I've been to a world premiere, that's all. Kewl.

To a world premiere you say, McTag? Well that does sound interesting. Did you have to wear black tie and tails, or what? Were there any whistle-able tunes? Did you get any icecream at the interval?

@McTag,
I think the pertinent question is, did the noisy little boy have a tail? And did he get a bottle in the interval?

(It was a symphony concert, was it?)

Hey TC - oh so glad you are on the mend - steady with that deep breathing tho!!! (breathe in....cough...breathe out...cough). Tai-chi will do you the world of good.... go breathe girl.

Yep, me too back to work, still a bit wishywashy - but not too bad thanku - no idea how I will manage from 6.30am to getting home at 2.30pm Rolling Eyes - I'll do what I can. Will prolly have the meeting re absence with the Head so... crahhhhping a little about what decision she has taken. But, that's out of my hands - all I can do is go back and hope they want to keep meand I'm not up infront of the Governing Body. We'll see.

anyhoooooo.... nuff of that

GUESS WHAT

go on go on go on GUESS WHAT

I just spoke with MaMaVerby and.........

and

and

and

and

they are going to take their baby boy home tomorrow or Wednesday.

HOW HAPPY IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was just a quick call coz my credit ran out (Rolling Eyes) - but enough time to hear that VerBaby has medication to help him wee.... other than that - VERBABY IS GOING HOME with his MaMa and PaPa and all is ticketyboo.

Isn't that just the best news?

He's one month old today. Very Happy

MaMaVerby is so looking forward to getting home and settling into family life. She was incredibly happy on the phone. Hopefully she will be able to get online soon but, she's still feeding him every 2 hours so will be pretty exhausted. I'm sure she will come by as soon as she can and tell y'all about him.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... isn't that just the happiest news. Very Happy

@wandeljw,
ha... the joy of Skype - you can talk for hours and hours for 2 Cents you know me jw, I can talk the hind leg off a donkey - haha!!!! Razz

yes, they are very happy. It's wonderful to be able to take your baby home - my little fella was in NICU for 2 weeks and he didn't have the problems that VerBaby has had to deal with - nothing in comparison - and coming out of that protected environment and going home is nervewracking at best even though that is what you wish for more than anything. I'm so glad that Eby's parents will be there to help and support her for a little while - he's still a tiny VerBaby - but he's such a strong little boy. He's a little miracle.

I know everyone is going to be delighted for them and it will be fabulous for MaMaVerby to tell y'all about him herself.

I can't stop smiling now - so happy for her Very Happy

Terrific news about the Verbivore family! I'm really looking forward to photos too.

Went out to gather up the recycling bins etc and missed a call from my boss wanting to make sure I was coming back to work tomorrow. She sounded a mite harassed. I guess I'd better call and put her out of her misery.

@Tai Chi,
I got a call from work too. Said I would be in tomorrow. They are having a Governor's Meeting tonite. hmmmmmmmmmm.

Hope you feel up to work tomorrow ((TC)) and get a good night's sleep.

Picked little fella up from school bus tonite, got home around 5.45pm - had dinner and after a long bath, he took himself to bed by 7.30pm Shocked He's so tired. Big school is very tiring. He's boarding for the next 2 nights - he loves boarding - in fact, he just loves school so much.

FQSis - hope the week goes well - you off to Germany? Don't worry 'bout calling - just give my bro a big hug and kiss from me. I love you, I miss you. Take care of you. x

Gotta be up early and it's gonna be minus 4 degrees tonite... our first frost. F F F F F Frrreeeeezing. Didn't sleep thisavo - need to sleep tonite.

Hugs y'all. x

@Tai Chi,
Morning from downunder crew, first day of summer here after the hottest spring on record. Talking about global warming, our average daily temperature in November was 32 degrees or 90 in the US. Well above average.

Great news about verbivore Izzie, thank you for all your efforts of keeping us informed. She must be a very happy girl, so good to know the little fellow is progressing well. Do we know his name yet?

Loved your reply mismi, will not elaborate but thinking plenty, hope you don't mind Wink

Happy to see Tai Chi back doing her exercises and resuming work, you take care and don't overdo it first up 'young' lady.

Hi FlavourQueen wishing you all the best in the coming week, you sure put in a lot of hours away from home. Waves from down under.

Hope your first day went well Izzie, you're in my thoughts. xx

Going out for a quiet lunch with a couple of friends later on, so better get myself into gear and do the list of chores Mrs.B has in mind. Cheers all.

@Izzie,
That's cold! It's chillly here too and raining. I hate rain...I know it's necessary but in the winter it just makes it SO dreary!

THRILLED! I'm thrilled about baby boy going home with Mama and Daddy! Man...so awesome...goes in my book.

I gotta go get the three poopers.

Do tell McT. How was your premier, what did you wear? Did you enjoy it? Sorry I did not ask sooner...lots to go back and read. I managed to miss it.

Have a good afternoon folks. I have much to do!

Hugs,
mis

Ahhhh.... 'twill be his MaMa's joy and pleasure to tell you her little fella's chosen name Very Happy

Have a wonderful day BEAgle and enjoy your lunch with friends.

First day back tomorrow. Hoping for some energy. Yep, will get an early night.

I just went outside, the moon is so bright - full moon on 2nd Dec - will have a howl for Noddy. Stars are twinkling all over and my garden table is frost white already, grass is crunchy and the moon is shining off the high river. We have had the highest November rainfall since 1914.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/weather/2009/nov/30/november-wettest-record

oh my.

Missy darling - missed seeing your smiling face - I knew you'd be longing to write in your book before bedtime.

Isn't it amazing, the joy of the internet at being able to share the highs and support the lows all around the world. Babbling's story, Bathy's story, Boida's, story, Mysteryman's Story, and of course Tulips and all the stories and other support and joy we feel knowing the happiness in folks lives. Astounds me at times.

OK... I took my potion -should not post if I can stop myself. Else it's go gush.

need to go and do the bins and recycling....

love y'all. x

@Izzie,

Sorry, I forgot I was the Petty Officer. I can be very petty at times, I should have known.

This was the gig:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/orchestras/philharmonic/wonder.shtml

"Wonder", a new oratorio for a big orchestra and gazillions of singers.

BBC Philharmonic and the BBC Singers, beefed up by the Salford Choral Society. It was very impressive. But don't ask me to play any tunes on my bosun's whistle.

Did I read that right? A choir of 250? That must have been awesome.

(Wasn't trying to be snippy earlier -- I don't know how you managed to not throttle the tyke.)
