@Izzie,
"Izzie said, need a lullaby, I'm tired."

Golden slumbers kiss your eyes,
Smiles await you when you rise.
Sleep, pretty baby,
And I will sing a lullaby.

Cares you know not,
Therefore sleep,
While over you a watch I'll keep.
Sleep, pretty darling,
And I will sing a lullaby.

Evening Crew

Very dark outside and rain rain rain rain rain - it is persistent to say the very least!

Quiet day, chore catch-up.

I turned all but two of the little fella's school white shirts blue/grey. There was NOTHING blue in the machine. 4 blue - 2 white.... HOW? who knows! hmmmmmm

Thanku Tulip for having S-boy - he, as always, had a lovely time - he's now painting his warhammer - with a pair of rubber gloves on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked

Tired today, very tired. I'll wake up later no doubt.

Wishing all a lovely day Very Happy

@Izzie,
Ha! Warhammer brings back memories.

Hope you aren't doing too much in the way of chores, Izzie. (I myself am still being a bit of a slug.)

Still coughing but managing to sleep. I was considered well enough to get the H1N1 vaccine yesterday -- not going to chance another horrible illness this winter! Back to work Tuesday afternoon/evening.

@Tai Chi,
Glad you are getting some sleep TC and hoping the cough will go away soon.

I was talking to Tulip and Pam about whether it's possible to get sick twice with the same thing. As we don't know what we had over here, it's difficult to know whether or not to get the vaccine. My friend Pam had it the other day (her arm was very sore) because she's a teacher. I can get it done straight away - but, I dunno whether to or not. If you've had
Quote:
the flu
(influenza) - can you get that twice??? The UK is no longer tested for S.Flu - we're told to stay home and not sneeze on anyone! So who know's who's had what. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Back to work on Tuesday for me too - maybe find out whether or not I will have a job next term. Oh joy. Not going to think on that just now. Very Happy

Anyhoo - good that you are sleeping - now, to get rid of the cough Razz

@Izzie,
You won't get sick from the same bug once you've recovered but there are numerous influenza viruses. If you had H1N1 then you don't need the H1N1 vaccine. That doesn't mean that you wouldn't/couldn't get another influenza A virus -- which is what the regular flu vaccine is supposed to help ward off.

H1N1 is the prevalent flu this year so chances are that's what you had. You should ask your doc about getting either the H1N1 or the regular flu vaccine.

Glad you're feeling better(ish).

@Tai Chi,
Morning crew. Good news Tai Chi that you're feeling better and able to go back to work, no doubt you're a tough old cookie.

Izzie with all that rain you must be house bound unable to go outside for a breath of fresh air. Good for S-boy to have some company from Tulip's boy.

Where is mismi, time she showed up and tell us what's happening in the deep south?

Taking Mrs. Beagle shopping shortly which will take up most of my day. Waves to all.

Hi JPB and Izzie we all posted at the same time. Smile

@Dutchy,
Just perfect timing, thanku - will take one over to my neighbour - she's just called to say she will cut my hair - I'm looking like Medusa on a bad hair day and am scared to look in the mirror - it's a been a while since my locks were cut Shocked Hopefully she will transform me into semi-respectable before I go back to work. Will be back later (it may take a while)Shocked Very Happy

Big sleep BEAgle - love to you and A xxxx

"Cut into squares; dip in chocolate icing, then roll in coconut."

Has me drooling.
