@FlavourQueen,
Hey Crew

Sis - yep, yep, yep, all is completely ticketyboo with the car Razz ahhhhhhhh - poor darlin' K-bro, he told me hasn't slept properly since Friday.... bless him - heh, you got him a good one tonite but I had to tell him straight away that it was all OK. He sounded so, so worried when he called. Hopefully, he'll sleep good now. Spoke briefly to JellyBean today re rogue emails going around. If you receive one from R-boy, don't open the link OK. It's a msn nasty scam thing, think every one of the all the kids contacts on msn have been sent the same email, J says the girls at school had all received them too. Love you sis, missing you heaps. xxxx

G's van is knackered - drained, but the clutch has gone (co-incidental ... probably) - won't get it back 'til Thursday!

Kei-bro's car is running again - he's still annoyed tho.

So, saw the rheum doctor today - he's OK'd me for work re the S.Flu, says I am no more compromised than the next person, which is good, if you see what I mean ... so.... need to talk to my boss tomorrow. Bloods show positive antiANA/DNA (lupus) and RH+ factor - but he's happy with med regime and says it's keeping my levels good, possibly they can start reducing the methotrexate in a years time or so. My feet are the biggest concern and hands are ack - will just have to see what happens as time goes by. Now, you know you have the VERRA best consultant when he tells you that ... the pains and lumps in my neck and shoulders are spasms.... and that my raiding the fridge at nitetime is because I require more sugar during the day.... so the answer is a) massage, b) chocolate during day. Razz Razz Razz Razz SERIOUSLY. ABSOLUTELY SERIOUS.

Now, actually, this is quite serious <puts on straight face> - we talked about my insomnia and the "nightmares" in the afternoons - he explained how and why it's happening - the REM in the afternoon is an issue coz of the zzzzz potion I take which causes REM deprivation - anyhoo - long and short is that he says I still need to go to sleep in the afternoons, even it it's just half an hour - it's a "must do" requirement if my body is going to work. Hmmmmmmmm.... dunno that I can do that tho - the nightmare thing. We'll see. Positive mental attitude is a must - I GOT THAT, I think, most of the time. Discussed a mountain with him last time (Bethie - you understand that I know) - I have to clear all the stuff in my head before I will sleep. Just, I don't know how or when I'll do that. I don't seem able to clear eldest son issues or trust issues. One day... or one nite, I guess.

Sorry, 'nuff about me, I'm babbling like my brook again just whispering in the wind.

Didn't manage to call MaMaVerby today - but will try and get hold of her tomorrow. Ommmmmmmmmmming for our Little One and her baby boy.

McT - sounds like you have some fond memories there a? Hope all's good with you and FiB. x

Mis - glad you're feeling better - yep, "every little helps" as we say here - if you can get some extra work it could make life a little easier - DO NOT get yourself too tired out tho hunni.... ok... I won't lecture - just take you time too. Love you x

BEAgle - oh dear..... what a shame for Alcopop? Good to see you had a celebratory snifter anyhoo - and you still finished in front, how good was that a? Razz How is M-son horse running these days? Any races coming up in PL? x

TULIP.... Thinking of you. Will call you tomorrow. I know the next few days are gonna be hard. Be strong girl... be strong. x

(((((Blue))))) miss you madly.

((((((((((JPB)))))))))))

Lovin' y'all. x

Nite x

,.....and the fish jumped up, out of the water,..grabbed my car key, and dove to vanish into the deep blue river..........

Three weeks prior: Standing at the counter of local hardware store. Murmuring under my breath. ".......twelve fifty to cut one easy single key to my shed........"

Yesterday:",....yes Alex,...we need the car here, at the dealer to program key,...with towing, program,..new key, labor,....it comes to three thirty two and fifteen cents."

Other key is at bottom of Pine River up north.

Good day Izzie and crew. No complaints, just informing folks with similiar keys,...if you have both keys,.....skeleton keys with out all the alarm, anti theft, open close features,...can be cut,......In my defense,..i did not lose either key. I didn't , I didn't.....

Everyone have a nice day.

oh noooooooo Alex....

what is going on with cars right now a? Bizarre!

Of course you didn't lose the other key, it's safe..... somewhere Wink

Gosh, what a pain in the bahookie and a dent in the wallet for you too - so sorry. Glad you've got a new key now and have wheels. The shed made it look easy in comparison.

<TEARS OF JOY>

I spoke with MaMaVerby and Eby a little earlier ...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Their Baby Boy is still being kept warm in an incubator and ventilated - unfortunately, he has pneumonia but the doctors are hoping he will be strong enough to be operated on in a few days time. He was born at just over 31 weeks so he's going to be in the hospital for a while. MaMaverby is "expressing" and VerBaby is being tube fed - she's doing everything to ensure her little boy knows that she is there with him.

MaMaVerby sounded so good Very Happy She's tired and a little uncomfortable but is ever hopeful. She has asked again that everyone pray, posivibe and ommmmm for their little boy - he's got quite a tough journey in front of him, but ya know, he's doing OK at the moment and we just have to keep hoping and praying...

MaMaVerby wanted to thank everyone for thinking of them - ahhhhhh... bless her - Eby has stayed with her in the hospital and they'll both remain there for a while longer - Eby's right beside her, so this is a huge comfort for her.

Arranged to call her in a couple days

So, going with a hope and prayer...

BIG HOPE for little VerBaby right now... Very Happy

@wandeljw,
Morning crew, woke up to a bright sunny day, with lots of things to do and visiting friends tonight.

Izzie, thank you for the news about verbivore, hope the little man pulls through with all our prayers, vibes and oooooooming. You make sure you have an early night and get some much needed rest for that tired body of yours.

Alex that is the best fish story I've heard for a long time, and I tell you as a fisherman I've heard some long tales. Smile

Wonder woman mismi where are you, you are so right, wait till we meet, Alabama here we come. I know you're not kidding. Laughing Wink

Annis said "I won't be around", what's up, busy with work?

Hi wandeljw, nice to come aboard and giving verbivore your support.

@annis,
Hi annis, sorry to read about your predicament, however you need not fear violence from your family, speak to the appropriate people and you'll get all the protection you need. That is the case here, and am sure that will apply in the UK as well. Hope tomorrow will bring back happy memories for you, I know it won't be easy but try to find the company of others it will make a difference. (((annis)))

@annis,
Hey Tulip...

Try and keep as calm as possible OK. Just don't answer the door or the phone. Call, as you need to, the authorities if necessary. Am home... you, kids and dawgs can come here if you need to - 4 bedrooms upstairs girl, just come on over - you can come now if you want to - jump in the car and come on over. If I don't see you tonite, will call you in the morning. D'ye want me to have the kids with me tomorrow when you go to college?

Strength - I know you don't feel as tho you have it, but it's there, you've got it, it's just they're all taking pieces out of you - they 'own' their nonsense, so don't buy into their games, it's all totally ridiculous. Do not react to anything, please, OK. Turn the landline phones off and keep your mobile with you. You're gonna be fine Tulip, you're gonna be fine. My Dad can come over and change the locks - don't worry about your brother - he can't do anything to you. Nothing. He's acting like a 2 year old - try try try to ignore it. He's full of bluster. Ignore him, please.

Morning BEAgle - enjoy your day, ahhhhhh for some sunshine and warmth over here - it's chilly - have a great evening with your friends tonite. xx

@Stormwatch,
Hey there Stormy girl.... ha, thing is, I could just see this massive blue marlin jumping right and playing hoopla with the key ring... and alex looking on in disbelief going... "but but but... you're meant to be in the key'p net.... oh nooooooo" whilst said marlin swam off at a great pace doing mighty fast keystrokes. Razz

Well, not chuckling as his misfortunes, (y'all know I couldn't do that) just.... ya know... ya gotta laugh a?

I love Alex's stories... love 'em - he set's my imagination off in such a high spirited way - makes me smile every time I see him post. Sweetness and light always. Just enough information to make you think up and ending. Love it. Whatever happened to his pickles.... and did his pumpkins dance this year? Who knew?

Anyhoo... as you can prolly tell, I've taken my sleeping potion, which means my posts or any PM's (please please please hamsters stop me from posting late at nite and anyone receiving anything illegible, ignore if possible) I will talk a bunch of absolutle jabberwockyfied nonsense. So, if received. Please ignore - oh deary me. The meds (pfffffffffffst insomniac zonkers) make me incoherent...... HA.... more incoherent than the norm anyhooo. Razz <A2K sits there and shakes head, heck, look out, here she goes, Iz will be dropping off in a minute... she's on a spellathon-anon ramble, do excuse her!> hey ho! I need a midnite disclaimer.

C'est Moi. hahahhahaha. Like it or not, c'est moi.

Ha, Mis, BEAgle and t'others are used to it, fellow crew, Ha, you'll get used to it.

OK... off up to my bed...

will take tthe laptop with me (and there's the downfall) and try terribly terribly hard not to post anything. llalalllallalallalala...

Wishing y'all a good day tomorrow.

Tulip. Thinking of you.x

@Barry The Mod,
Afternoon Crew

hmmmmmmmmmm... rain rain rain.... ooooh, bit of sunshine, rain rain rain... and brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

managed some sleep last nite Razz - this is a good thing, it was needed. (I wish I didn't post at nite, apols for that, but it's so dang bleugh when you're just wanna talk to someone. I must try getting back into reading books - tho I don't know if I can concentrate on one thing long enough. Here on the internet, there's just different things to read about. Hmmmmm)

Hey ho.

Heard from MaMaVerby's friend Very Happy
email from Ind...

The baby's faring better day by day. He is still in the incubator, but they've shifted him to a smaller one with lesser parametres. They have detected slight pneumonia in his lungs -- which is the present diagnosis for his slow recovery and development.
<snip>, I'm perfectly alright!
All your prayers have surely reached right up to him -- and I'm sure he'll be in continuous need of them for some more time.
<snip>
Do convey my heartfelt thanks to the crew as well -- for their love and prayers. And please do continue praying for us.

love

ahhhh..... hopes, wishes, omms and prayers for MaMaVerby and her family.

OK - going to try and be constructive and hoover the house, may only manage the ground floor but I need to put on domestic goddess hat - cats have been flying furballs racing around the house - Murphy seems to bring half the leaves left in the garden thru the catflap - this is preferable to the running around variety of 4 legged furry critters that has been coming thru the catflap in recent months, leaves can be hoovered up Wink

I'm going to attempt to drive tonite hoping my ankle will allow me to do it. We'll see.

Good day all xxxx
