@annis,
Evening Crew
Massive tiring day and worked late, then zonked. Mucho collapso " and going into a bit of a flare " feet are complaining horribly and have put my ankle out, the rest of my joints are starting to burn. However, last day at work tomorrow and need to get a bunch of “just in case” bits and pieces organised " then I can walk out the door.
Hey " my new work desk is fabulous " you push a button and it goes up and down " love a bit of height adjustable. I have a wonderful mouse that is vertical, not horizontal, so my fingers don’t stick out at funny angles and a headset and phone system (which I didn’t have time to sort out today) and an electric holepunch and stapler " the whizziest chair you can imagine that, if it had a “sound system” would be singing and dancing too. All sorts of things that should make work, when I go back, a lot easier. Now, just need to have a proper access ramp sorted out and the radiheater removed from the wall, the door adjusted... and I’ll be good to go... or work as the case may be, with or without wheels for a bit!

The folk that came in were awfully nice and helpful. I also got the Dragon Software (aptly named on my behalf, how very kind of them

), which I shall prolly bring home with me tomorrow, and will try on my laptop over the next few weeks " so, I can/should be able to talk and the software writes it up for me (oh my gawsh - can you imagine, after sleeping potion, and talking to my laptop - this may not be such a good idea!!!!!!!). Now... to keep to one accent would be useful, at this point so as not to confuse the other Dragon too much!
So, all in all, tho hugely busy and bustly " much achieved today.
Miraculously, my fridge is now unbroken. It’s the second time it’s done this and there is NO electric supply (not that can be seen) ANYWHERE " no wires - nothing " I think it’s wired into a fused spur behind the kitchen units " this is a problem and makes no sense at all " however, it appears that if I get a chair, place it in the kitchen, stand on the chair, open the top cupboard door, peer in amongst all the crahhp that is in the cupboard and grimace a little, when I then get off the chair, the fridge starts working and the lights come back on thus giving me cold milk for tea. I touch NOTHING! It miraculously starts working. This says to me that there is an electric supply from the chair leg in the conservatory into the kitchen behind the fridge " I shall repeat this as many times as necessary before calling in the engineer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tulip, glad you called and woke me " I would have slept for hours I think and that would be no good at all because I won’t sleep tonite " as it is, I must’ve slept for nearly 3 hours " I reckon the body is starting to kick down now. Looking forward to Sunday and tree-surfin’ (you know I won’t just be able to stand there and shoot pics " I’m gonna have to have a go... just a little go a?)
MaMaVerby " now girlie, join me with the toots up " c’mon.... hop on over to the sofa and put those feet up. You need to take care of yourself hunni and that BubbaVerby. I’ll be pleased when you can finish up at work and just concentrate on you for a little while. Hoping you find some peace around you " you know where I am ... it maybe on the end of a laptop across the world... but right here, for the most part. (((((((((((((MaMaVerby))))))))))))))
(((((((JPB)))))))) " I’m so sorry about your colleague. Ohhhhhhhh, it is sad... hugs to you JPB ...
Poor MrB " ack " surely there must be something they can do " the man’s in pain!

Very glad you spent the day in the city and met up with JfC (sqrrrrrl) " that’s a bit happy a? Also glad that all went well for M " hmmmmmm " so, what do you reckon she’s gonna do? Yep, little steps, one after the other. I can imagine both the girls reading and especially M being like S-boy. ‘Tis hard.

You have no idea girlie how much you brighten my every day. I can honestly just sit here and picture you sitting there... saying "piddling...piddling...piddling", strumming your fingers and looking around whilst you’re procrastinating. You make me smile inside, so big!

Wishing sunshine for you and for the clouds to go away. Gosh, I do like our change in weather " but it is lovely when the sun is shining " especially at this time of year. I’m gonna try and post a couple pics in a bit (if I can get myself organised enough) " the sunrises and sunsets do take my breath away, each and every time.
