That prog is on tonight again at 10:30 on BBC4. Bazza, watch it or record it. It's stupendous. It's not just another documentary about The Beatles.

Much, much more. It is the best TV programme ever made.

Macaw, is that a Scottish bird? I'm driving up to God's country today, back Friday.
Her indoors has been primed which TV programmes to record...The Choir, The Frankincense Trail, etc etc.....sybaritic lotus-eater, that's me.
But the motor is leaking power steering fluid again, only slightly. Watching brief.

I'll tak the high road the noo.

@McTag,
Have fun McT.

Verby - at least you have a good reason for being that way. I don't anymore. And I still find myself there. huh. Hugs hun...miss you too. Take care of yourself.

Dutchy - of course I was bound to get it... If you were sick and here I would probably smooch you too.. I can't help it. Wink

Izzie...I would have been mortified if I had gotten kicked off. It sounds awfully strange to me that it is abandoned and they wouldn't let you take pics. I wonder what's really going on there....

I read that one thread, Izzie. Honestly - some of those folks don't have anything better to do than to get people in a dither. I guess that's what you call a troll. But then, they stay here...and pester the life out of people. Of course everyone has a right to their opinion. But I have gotten to the point that it seems to be just a waste of time to share mine. I will post if I think it's absolutely necessary. Otherwise....pooh. Let it go. I worry about the little ones that post here mostly - looking for guidance. Bless their bones.

The boys actually went to spend the night with a friend. I woke up feeling much better - but no fever now. So I will be cautious. Today is Labor Day. I forgot....So I don't have to work. Will have to tomorrow. So...yikes. I am a bit butterfly-y. I talked to my sis-in-law who did it for years and she bolstered my courage - said I would be great and the kids would love me. We'll see. But it did make me feel better.

I did not talk to anyone hardly yesterday - except for G-baby - who was worried and would not leave the room...can you tell? I am so CHATTY today....verbal excess. Sorry.

Hugs and SMOOCHES (sterilized ones)
mis

Soooo.... talking of which

Macaw

http://i388.photobucket.com/albums/oo324/IzzieLzzie/DSC03259.jpg

These boids are beautiful stunning. They mimic each others actions and I could sit and watch them for hours. Absolutely fascinating (if you like that sorta thing). BOIDA " I have umpteen dozen pics to post on your thread " I just can’t seem to get there - I may have a free weekend this weekend " so...... hopefully I will get some over there. You would love these fellas and all the stunning birds they have over there " it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO loud " they are all mighty talkative. Eric is a parrot " he used to be in the shop but got a little aggressive with a couple of naughty kids " so he’s back with G-dad. He is a darling " you walk up and he chats away “’ello” “ello” “ello dear” “ello” " bless Eric. Give him a peanut and he winks at you.

Now, talking of stunning " whoda thought our Mags had been on the deck before we started sailing a? We had the pleasure of meeting this lovely boid during the roadtrip and not only her, but her wonderful hubby too, who had the little fella totally gobsmacked " he has a strong accent " such a fabulous character.

Mags has given me permission to post y’all some photos of her " know Beth would like to see her so.... here’s our gal in St.Louis.

http://i388.photobucket.com/albums/oo324/IzzieLzzie/DSC00926.jpg

Whoda thunk it " MrMags is a collector " ships clocks (amongst other collectibles)! Not just one or two " but.... LOADS and they chime/resound together " it was a spectacle to see and hear. This is just one wall " I was amazed " can you believe how it felt walking into this room and seeing these model tall ships " blessed we were... blessed. Love you Mags " meeting you was so wonderful " I know how lucky I am to have been able to get to you and come by your house to visit. THANKU.

Thanku Mags - honoured.

Now, I’m trying to be disciplined " potion taken, animals sorted, uniform ironed and rugby kit washed and dried (not a chance of ironing) " one rugger sock missing, one rugger shirt gained Shocked stinking boots (ack). I’m in... no.... on.... my bed. Gotta be up at 6.15 tomorrow " ugh " my body believes it’s on burn out " I keep telling it is hasn’t done anything to be burned out " it then shows me collapse mode with a nyah nyah na nyah attached. Darn it.

Little fella is boarding for two nites this week " he’s so tired, love him. Boarding should be easier than the getting up at 6.30 and not getting home ‘til nearly 6.00pm. He lost a tooth in rugger last week (with gum shield in) and got a heavy knock in the ruck today so is feeling a little sorry for himself and was quite tearful. He has a new tutor so he’s well delighted with that.

Oh Mis... verbal excess is contagious " I just got it.... YAY. You are gonna be great tomorrow " better than great " you have a way with kids and they will learn through fun and a great teacher. Stand tall hun " you’re gonna shine. You will be the best teacher. Have faith in yourself.

Yep, some of the threads right now are just same same, same incessant “heard it all before” " (ha folk think that of here " nem’mind)
Why do they persist in ranting and moaning. LET IT GO fer goodness sake or just GO....... but I’m feeling a little ansty with a few threads " not quite strong enough to place my opinion where I wish to " more really that I don’t wish to converse with people who do make me feel like being sick. I can read - but won’t jump in to the heavy conversations. Our opinions would be passed over I believe and not addressed I due to us being less explosive (not worthy adversaries and I think his posting is purely to spread nastiness)...... but boy, there are certain individuals who makes my blood boil. Nasty nasty " can you use profanity here " ST*U. Did, sorry.

Hope the twins stay lurgy free " hugs and smooches to you Dixie - feel better tomorrow hun.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((JPB)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) miss you.

Miss our Blue " fret fret fret xox I wanna smooch Blue and get his verbal excess. x

<bends down on knee........... >

Lovin' Y'all my lovelies xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hubby says he was honored to meet you and your wonderful son. He's only sorry he couldn't fix dinner for you. We enjoyed the visit so very much. Only wish you were closer so we could see you often.

@Dutchy,
I HEARD YOU - HA! XXXX

oh - ahhhhh - the thread I'm reading that has me wound up is about sexual abuse of boys - fascinating and heartbreaking - not t'other one... the other one is, as usual, history repeating itself every few months Rolling Eyes but Robert seems to have a thick skin - he'll be coco methinks - he's a big boy, he'll shoulder the nasties I hope.

Hey Bazza - good to yabber this morning - yep - gotta slow down - work is tremendously busy (which is obviously why I'm here posting) Wink and the hours at home just go. I'm have a 30 second chill out with another cuppa before I attempt to clear the paperwork from my desk.

K - done - back to work

hi ho hi ho...

I know it’s been a while, but I am sure as Brooke knows; when that big old world gets a grip; it takes all your time just to keep afloat. I have heard that Dee Dee is doing well but extremely busy and her absence has nothing to do with the lunch she had with my good mate Dutchy.

Izzie, and the rest of you beautiful women; I have so missed the pool and toga parties, due to the fact that I was preparing a report on Global Warming… when my sister rang from the airport; she runs the VIP lounge and has been told to stock up with Bollinger Grande Annee Vintage Champagne 1989 and Metaxa Amphora and milk- YUCK!!!

This can mean only one thing……

Yes; Tryagain is due back in town " That guy has the carbon footprint of a junk yard dog! Still, to prove there is no such thing as a ‘free meal’ there is a little matter of a sum in excess of $3.000 for landing, handling and parking - I kid you not; its $12.50 per hour for 24 hour parking!

But, if you like me want to save the planet, come and join me…

I think the spelling for the actual meaning I was looking for is "H-O-A-R-S-E" - not that some of you wouldn't agree with the other statement. <ahem>
