Poor guy. Got a movie for him to sit and watch? That way he can just veg. Doesn't have to respond. you know - whatever works. He must be really tired. I get that way too. I just start crying though. Ridiculous...and the Prof. LOVES it when I do that! G-baby cries when he is tired too...bless his heart. He takes after his Momma...hopefully he will grow out of that though!

Really gonna try and put some pics up tonite - I am being so disorganised. So lovely to be here - had a lovely dinner round the kitchen table and can now hear the windchimes outside - having the deer wander by this morning was precious.

That was the most wonderful thing- getting a call from three of the sweetest folks! Loved chatting with you Iz...feel like we've been doing it always...I love your accent too - how could I not? And Rock...nice voice - very smooth - so enjoyed getting to gab with you! JPB, hun - I just told the Prof. that if this came about again it was a MUST to come up there, or everyone would have to come down here. And that's alright with me. He said we would make it happen. Yay! Loved getting to listen to and talk with you too. Look forward to more of it.

I finally called lights out at 12:30. Well, at least one of us went to sleep.

Today's plans are still kind of fluid. I think we're going to take the train downtown and walk over to K's work so she can meet RH before he heads back. Then, depending on timing (these folks sleep til the crack of noon), we may try to do a quick(ish) tour of the Museum of Science and Industry or maybe a quick run up to the top of the Sears Tower. Dunno --- it will be fun whatever we do. I love these people!

Alex - it's good to see you here. It is a shame you couldn't make it. I gave effort - it was not meant to be for me either - this time anyway.

I had a room mom's meeting this morning. It was not fun. I had to get my brakes fixed on my new old van...ouch. Painful to the checking account. Thankfully those mechanics are kind enough not to say anything ugly as I came squeaking in this morning...I think I put it off a little too long.

We have parent night at school tonight. Woohoo. The boys are excited because they are going to my neighbors house. He has this massive TV that he lets them play Guitar Hero on. Hilarious. He is always making J play expert so it can open new songs. He's such a user! But my boys are happy while they are there - so I guess it's all right!

I keep thinking about the sweet voices on the phone last night. Looking forward to chatting some more soon sweet friends.

Hey to you all. Been in germany this week and in full renovation of the house we bought next door to our house. Bit of a nightmare as it is 400 years old and we are really restricted on how we modernise it. But it is happening! Hoorah
