13 innings - and still no winner. We had to leave. Little boys crying in the car on the way home at 10:45pm because they didn't get to run the bases after the game like they said they could AFTER the game. The game did not look like it was ever going to end. I'm beat.

Yesterday was my friends bday..the one I had mentioned earlier..Caught up with him for a cuppa..for old time's sake...it rips ur heart to know that you have had the best of memories that neither can afford to forget but still just have to for the heck of the flow of life!!!
Finally..he had removed his mask of indifference and i could see th hurt as much as it was there in me ..finally he removed only to let me know hes leaving the place!!!
wow..u miss someone..u rue for the good ole memories..ur heart skips a beat as you catch up..only to know you gotta let go of the hand all over again!! the loneliness that creeps in is unexplainable..

i did pray ..as they say in the movie secret..for the powers to move mountains..only with teh strong faith in ur heart..ive used those powers to convince myself probably he wont have to leave..for good or bad..perhaps he has to stay back..
I did pray..no matter how selfish it may sound..I did pray..

Hey Verbie - try not to worry hun. Things generally work out to our good...eventually anyway. Just focus on taking care of yourself and that sweet baby. You are going to be a wonderful mother!

The game went to 16 innings. I sat and watched the box scores until it was over. The Barons got one bottom of the 16th. Finally. Thank goodness we did not stay though...I can only imagine how badly my boys would be feeling this morning!

I have company, company and more company today...have a friend and her kids coming for lunch and then my Mother and Father in law coming for dinner. Crazy day. It will be good though...

But to work I must go.

Just a quick post. Then I need to stop goofin' off! Not much time to read back, but I did skim a little. LOVED the walk into the world of Izz and FQ. What a concert! I wished I had been there! Dang, dang, DANG!

Anyhoo, forgive me for not reading up. Will try and do that tonight. Just wanted to introduce you to the newest member of the Babbling family! She is outright gorgeous. Her hair is so flipping FUNNY! She was born with a bad hair day and it just adds to the cuteness! You have to laugh when you hold her and look down into that face with the mop of hair!

Her name is Taylor. Her Mommy went to the hospital on Monday. Was in labor for almost 12 hours. She was almost born on Monday, but didn't quite make it. Was born at 12:47 a.m. (technically tuesday.) She was 7 lbs. 4 ozs and 19 inches long. Perfectly healthy, all fingers and all toes intact! Took to breastfeeding quickly and they are already home! She is just the model of health. I told my brother, Justin, that he is like Daddy. Better at making girls, than boys! So he needs to keep trying! They seem to care not that it was a girl, though.

She is beautiful - my brother in law calls himself Mr. X...2 girls...finally a boy. But those little girls - oh my - so sweet. Oh that I had one.

Oh Brooke. She is absolutely PERFECT. I get so broody as soon as I see a new born baby. What a miracle! So happy for your family. Your faith has brought joy in every way.

Morning crew, hardly had any sleep, watched a 5 setter at Wimbledon and saw our local boy Hewitt being beaten by the US hope, Andy Roddick.

Congratulations to Auntie Brooklyn on the birth of baby Tailor, happy to know all is well. She looks very cute.

FQ feeling 'broody' after seeing photo of Taylor, I wonder if Izzie feels the same, with verbivore setting the lead, are there anymore ladies to follow perhaps?

Hi to Alex, Annis and djjd, hope you all had a great day. With the heat wave in England and ice melting at chez Izzie I visualise her darting around in a bikini. Come on deck Captain.

I had my lunch with my friend and then the pool. I have a new suit - my boys said Ooo la la...they said they thought I was trying to look like a Cheetah girl! (google it) It is leopard print and quite cute I must say.

Then mad dash home and made supper for the in-laws.

I love days when you wake up overwhelmed and still manage to muddle through it all AND actually enjoy it. It is such a surprise. Love those little gifts!

OH Izzie - I am watching the Lake House. <sigh> My goodness. WHAT A GREAT CHICK FLICK. I may have to go get my hair cut again...although when I do I miss my ponytails.

I lick my boys when they won't kiss me goodnight. Lick them right upside their little chubby cheeks. Do you think it is strange that they absolutely refuse to kiss me goodnight? Seems they want me to lick them right upside those sweet little cheeks....and I guess the next qustion is - Am I setting them up for some strange fettish when they get older? But I love those little giggles when I am trying to get those kisses. The sweetest little fellers in the world. I am so blessed.

I finished washing the dishes. The Prof. has had food poisoning from the chicken sandwich he ate at the ballpark last night. You should always stick to the hotdogs. That is what I think anyway...poor, poor, Prof. He is not very sociable when he is sickly. Bless his heart.
