"YABBER-LINER" - ALL ABOARD

Popping in to say "hi". (Took me forever to read a month's worth of Yabber Liner.)

The computer is giving me major grief. I will try for an update before we head north again.

Yep, Miss Izz .... Exams are done. Grades are in, and I'm a happy camper. Mission accomplished for this year. Didn't lose my pants on campus this go-around! But I did teach a dog how to smile! They allowed dogs on campus, exam week....providing you kept them in check. Animals have such a calming effect. Here's sparky! Not my dog, but one of my classmates. (YES, I do have pants on in that picture, ya just can't see em')




Just been decompressing and finding my footing again. Back to work and trying to make some money!

Close to having a new little baby angel in the family. Thought it might be today, but not going to happen. She went to the hospital to get checked out because she's been having pains lately, and today they got stronger and regular at 6 minutes apart. They checked her over and said she's 90% effaced and 3 cm dilated. Could be tomorrow, could be a week, is what they told her. But all she's having now are the good ole Braxton Hicks contractions.Due date is July 1st.

Been drawing. It's so relaxing and now I have time to do it again. Will post a couple.

I didn't draw any of dogs, this go around. But I did find a dog drawing that I did when Osso had her dog as her avatar. I never showed it to her or gave it to her. She has no idea I even did it. Wasn't sure it was that good because in the avatar I could not get close details, if ya know what I mean. Anyhooo.......for dog lovers ....

Justbrooke I can't help but tell you you have fantastic legs, I'm not going to say anymore or I'll be in trouble! However what I will say is you are an exceptionally talented lady, your drawings are stunning. Would love to pose for you. Congratulations on getting good pass marks in the exams, I always knew you would, you're such a dedicated girl when it comes to studying.

Monday morning here, new week starting with lots of small jobs on the agenda, looking after two neighbours properties and their pets (cats) as they are away for a number of weeks travelling Oz. Most people down here flee the cold and head up to northern Australia where it is nice and warm!

mm ….. I sort of lost my pants last year, between exams. I guess you weren’t on ship to see that pic! Oh, and it’s not what ya may be thinkin! Thank you for the drawing comment. Really, all a drawing is, is a picture in your mind. You see it, you feel it, you draw it. Kind of like tracing. You can do it. Anyone can. Just takes a wee-lil-bit of practice, tis all.

Letty …… Thank you for your sweetness! Though I don’t think you have anything in your body, except that! As for Daddy, yes, everything will be fine. Truly, I am the lucky one for having HIM! He is just so special. I can’t even tell ya in words how much!

JustBrooke did you really draw those pictures? They are incredible! What talent you have.

Izzie, another bunch of beautiful pictures you posted. Someday I will be able to go to Europe and see old buildings and castles...it's really a dream of mine. Someday...when I'm rich. What we consider old here in terms of architecture is just a drop in the bucket of time in comparison.

Do you mind if I snitch a few of those pics to use as screen savers?

Spring baseball season is almost over. We had our first playoff game today. We went in being the 6th team out of 9 so were really surprised to beat the 2nd place team today 21-2. That secures us at least one more game in the playoffs. N. made the all-star team again this summer...so baseball continues beyond the season! I'm a proud and happy mom!

I have a freezer full of Amberjack, Grouper and Red Snapper! No tuna...but I don't think you can really catch those in the Gulf...I could be wrong I guess. Anyway..the Prof. had a wonderful time...he is very sore and has a massive blister on his finger where he was reeling those puppies in. The Amberjack he caught were as big as his leg...amazing. I will have to get the pic on here for you. My scanner is kaput and my dvd drive. But my fix it computer boy will be by next week and get it all working for me.

Hugs to you all...I stayed up way too late last night and had to get up for church this morning. No sleeping in...I am SO sleepy.

izziee..i wanted to knw the camera that u use..the lens range..ur pics are really gr8..as u knw Last bday I gt him a DSLR..Nikon D60..bt he isn’t that happy with the the zoom range I feel..he wants to capture far off birds,..and not able to do so.. im thnking of a zoom lens of 70-300mm range..do give me ur lens range..i practically know nothing abt cams..just asking..so pardon me if there is any stupidity in my question

Today disappeared

Poorly. Yesterday. Very. Frustrated at the damn blizzard on my mountain right now " it’s hard to see straight when it’s blind pain. Anyhoo.... bit better day today " quit whining!

Work " harrumph busy - home " appointment " home " little fella. Ooooooooooooooooh... little fella has been cycling and at the beach all day starting his Activity Week " he is scarlet like a lobster (and tired and cranky) " he looks like he’s wearing a white t-shirt " lots and lots of aftersun going on and 2 bottles of suncream put in his bag for tomorrow. The residential was supposed to start today " but... tomorrow now " he’ll be away for a week.

Mamaverby " how cool is that name.... that’s a sticker fer sure. My good camera is actually one of the cheapest DSLR " SonyA2000.... but I do have the telephoto 70-300mm lens " tho haven’t used it in a while coz it’s awfully heavy and my hands can’t hold the dang camera. The big lenses are FANTASTIC tho for long range shots..... really fantastic. If Eby really loves his photography - which I know he does " I’d recommend it. I mainly use the normal lens but if I were doing bird shots " I’d use the telephoto. I still have not figured out how to actually use the camera " I’m still just pointing and shooting and playing with it " one day I’ll learn, I’m sure. Sooooooooooo " how are you? Any improvements eating???? When is your due date???? You take good care OK " get some relaxation in when you can " put your feet up in the evenings. Right!!!!!!!! .......... Right!
