@Stormwatch,
Hey crew

oh dear Alex Sad

well well well - I am. Had visitors all day and it's been lovely. FQ - Pammie came over - yip yap yopped for hours - that was nice - it's been a long while. Sorting out for J&J Pamboy&girl to stay here when I'm away and dawg and house sit - which will all be a bit happy - he'll have just finished his A-levels so can relax here for the weekend with his girl.

Grass has just had a hair cut and then a wash - I'm a drenched from the shower that Mother Nature decided I needed to have whilst chopping off the daisies heads! Shocked Managed not to shock myself.

Done. Looking pretty out there.

Gonna do some more chores after a cuppa - feeling well today - it's good to be able to move freely - physically and headwise! Wink

Maybe back a little later - may have plans for the evening. Were going to be going to the beach and get Tulip and the kids to come with us.... rains looking a little heavy tho - so she's taken the kids to the movies - we'll see how it goes.

Wishing everyone a great weekend. Hope our Vegemite is feeling a little better and has found something she can eat. ((((Vegemite))))

Thinking of the crew who are keeping strong and those who may be struggling. Thinking of you all.

lovin' y'all. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

@Rockhead,
Hi there crew, a wet cold and miserable morning here, typical Aussie winter. Lots of rain lately yet the weather people say the drought is still not broken, reservoirs are only 55% full!

Izzie good to know you had a fabulous day with F/Q and crew, what on earth do you girls talk about for hours? Smile

Commiserations to Alex, I saw the winning Captain hoist that huge cup on TV, quite amazing scenes. Next year your turn!

Hope you all have a great weekend.

@Dutchy,
I'm feeling a bit giddy. Just came back from picking up my new car. I have a lot of reading to do to figure out what the fancy doodads all are (not fancy to most people, but I've been driving the most stripped down models of cars for the past 25 years).

Join the club ehBeth, know how you feel, happened to me three weeks ago, still working out all the gadgets. New radio, DVD player, iPod connection, blue tooth, heater, airco and a host of other things. Laughing

@Dutchy,
I drove home from the dealership with the driver's side window open as I'd have had to pull over somewhere to read the manual to find out how to close the window.

Good thing it wasn't raining!

@ehBeth,
Hey Crew

Ooooooooooooooooh Bethie... a new travel mobeeeeeeeel. How fab is that. It's so exciting when you get a grown up car. When I got my silver blue beauty - it was so much fun (I used to drive a tank)! I still haven't worked out half the gadgets - but the best thing (other than the polite sat nav lady) is heated leather seats on a cold morning. OOooooooooooooooh - lovely warm bum! (ok, maybe too much information a? Wink )

This is my baby tho - Molly Merc 300sl conv. - (officially she's G's baby - nahhhhhhhhhhh) she's verra verra old - half my age - but she purrs and she is sooo beautiful ... she's recently had a new lid so she doesn't leak on me now. 3L engine - huge - so she's heavy on the petrol and isn't driven on long journeys. G-son needs to use her whilst he's home for the summer - but I'm allowed to borrow her which is kinda cool (she's really mine, just they don't realise - ha Wink

Enjoy your new car Bethie - I know the BEAgle has surely been having fun in his - he's been a real kid!!!!!

Rock - cat and mouse - oooooooooooh... poor mouse, hope he has some good hiding places. The boyz are bringing me lots of prizes of late, shrews, mice, boids Sad wholly unpleasant - the occasional frog Shocked Both kitties doing really well. Both dogs being dollopy.

Hey BEAgle - oh sorry, FQ sis wasn't here, was just letting her know Pam had been over and that was great. Hope to see sis in a couple week - exhub has changed weekends, again, he' s doing "his" thing......what - f8ing eve...... so I am left to sort where little fella can go and I too had planned to be away - no guilt tho - I'm gonna have a ball at Hyde Park - so can't wait.

Fading fast here........ taken my potion and was naughty, couple Bailieys, delish. tired tired tired. eyes closing.................................

@Dutchy,
Gooooooooooooood Morning

beautiful summer's day here - gonna be a warm one - this time, will keep my shoulders covered - still suffering from the last sunshine on my back. ack!

Oh, I coulda slept some more (don't remember posting last nite Rolling Eyes) woke up on the sofa again.

Not sure of a plan for the day - little fella is playing flute at the School Summer Ball tonite - which would have been lovely to go to - I coulda worn my ballgown Very Happy - but, well, didn't work out for this year, mebbe next year. We'll see.

OK - gonna go iron..... school uniform. Will be back a little later. Hoping all are having, have had good days.

Bethie - hope you have a fab drive in the new BethMobeeel. Enjoy. Wonder how Missy's getting on - sand sand boyz and sand. So glad she got to go away. Hoping DjjD,TC and MrFixit are making good at the School House. Can't wait for pics.

Is anyone else going on any travels??????? I'm still debating right now.

East or West. East for a week. West for a few weeks. mmmmmmmmmmm..... wonder how many crew I could go visit with the little fella and maybe the BigBoy. mmmmmmmm. Really wanna do Italy/Sorrento/wherever - but think that's something I havta do on my own or with FQ - photographing along the way - thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Little fella wants to visit with his Uncle Rock and visit Chi-town but I'm not sure BigBoy would cope with long travel and roadtrips. Tulip is off to Oz for a few weeks, FQ is going FL for a couple weeks and Pammie is going to France and elsewhere for a few weeks -

where shall we go? mmmmmmmmmmmm..... best start looking around.

Maybe a UK roadtrip - Lake District, Scotland..... over to Ireland. Now, thats sounds good Ireland.... ohhhhhhhhhhhh..... MAYBE! Ohhhhhhhhhh.... maybe .... there's a thought. OK.... little bit excited now.

Oh sailing...... we could sailing somewhere. 2 days of "over the side" but 5 or so days of bliss.... ohhhhh that would be good.

OK... rambling now... gotta go iron. We'll see. Thinking.

Hugs to the crew

Happy days all xxxxxxxxx

Izzie, Not much of a traveler these days. But you reminded me of two glorious vacations I had sailing on the Atlantic off the coast of Maine. Two of the most relaxing vacations I ever had. Here's a pic of the schooner I was on.

Sighing and smiling at the memory.

Another great boat trip I had was on the fjords of Norway. SPECtacular.

@Dutchy,
Hey crew - I've been taking pics of a boid! A few boids actually - which I'll try and upload in a bit.

Little fella is not feeling too brilliant - he's lying next to me at the moment - we're both knackered. He was meant to be at school tonite playing flute.... his new flute... it's broken (oh!) - F has dropped out, it whistles instead of flauting - need to get it back to the shop!!!!! So he's a wee bit upset.

So, will be back later - need to go feed.

Hoping all are k and having big sleeps or good days. x

oh oh...... I will go do some travelling this summer. Don't know where yet - but it WILL happen - it WILL it WILL it WILL. Razz

@ehBeth,
Love to try that ehBeth but haven't seen it on the supermarket shelves here.

By the way good morning all, new week commencing here, and Mrs.B has all sorts of jobs lines up for me. Smile

Hope the little fella soon recovers with your TLC Izzie, I'm sure he will. Fluting out of tune would even scare the cat away I think, get his little flute fixed and pronto. Smile

Hi Hi Hi!
I'm Back! It was great! It was a looooong time to be away from home. I missed my doggies and my kitty....and my fishy Alex finally died. I have been expecting it forever. But I am so much sadder than I thought I would be.

I'm tired. Still have to feed the little punkin' heads.

Hugs to you all...

@ehBeth,
Oh Beth - chocolate to go to sleep with - how brilliant is that a? Perfect. What more could one wish for!!!!!! Very Happy Haven't ever heard of it either over here - definitely worth a look for. I keep finding Galaxy or Bounty bar wrappers on the sofa in the morning - no idea when I'm eating them!!!!!!

Missy - missed you too - so pleased to see you back - hoping it was the best time - looking forward to your beach stories. Sorry about Alex.... oh..... poor Beta! Sad

YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE THE THUNDER BOOMERS WE JUST HAD..... HUGE rain, huge thunder, lightening and huge hail. It was sunny and hot at school and as I drove back, the whole sky went black and the wind picked up - just as I arrived home the heavens opened and dropped a bucket load of water and ice. Quite incredible. Water is pouring down the road and into my river Shocked The noise on the conservatory roof was.... errrrrrrr.... LOUD!

FAN-BLOOMING-TASTIC - really, amazing storm. It's passed by now but is still raining. Garden is loving it.

BEAgle - you're prolly asleep now - hope you have a big zzzzzzzzzzz. x

Work was so busy - it's madness - we have so many trips, excursions and sporting events going on - it's simply mad. Non-stop.

I'm going to bake a baguette.... butter....... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Will be checking in every so often - procrastinating Razz
