Oops and in walks Dutchy. Smile Wishing you all the best verbivore, won't talk about food only makes you miserable at this stage, but you'll come good and will have some strange cravings! Take it from one who knows. Wink

Hi Bazza, wouldn't mind coming along to Hyde Park, that seems one hell of a mighty gig.

@FlavourQueen,
Morning Izzie and F/Q, hope you both have a great weekend. Nice to hear you're going out Captain wishing you a great night. A cold Saturday morning here, going to drive Mrs. B into town for some shopping and watch the football this afternoon. Tonight will follow F/Q's habit and down a few drinks. Wink

As for now, hot porridge is waiting, so see you later.

@Dutchy,

Hey Hey Very Happy

What a fantastic evening. Deep purple trousers, funky top and FQsis jacket " my comfort blanket. I can actually say I do suit it the jacket.... it makes me feel good. I was almost girlie tonite " proper girlie " makeup, jewellery and dressed to impress " but looked as tho I hadn’t dressed up at all. Makeover tho " I did heap big makeup. Razz

Well, G loved it (tho he doesn’t like makeup so much) " and I had confidence " we went to the theatre in the city and MAN.......... it was FAB. They were all outstanding. Gosh " I was expecting good " but it was brilliant. G’s bro-in-law was the baron, sis had a lead part and son (incredible actor) was a gentlemen on and off the stage.

It was one of those operettas " that you find you have smiled the whole way thru " just thrilling. I LOVED IT. G " does not do this sort of thing " HE LOVED IT " toes tapping, hand nudging, we were completely drawn into the story. My heart was racing. His son was............ well, put it this way, after the performance we waited outside for him - must have been terribly hard for him to meet me (I was driving) " he had one of those “buzz” smiles when you come off stage " so he walked up and hugged his Dad, I just looked at him and said “would you mind if I hugged you too” he said “of course” " he hugged big.

It was great. We yabbered in the car on the way back and I dropped them the other side of the border. As I was reversing to leave having sat a while for a cuppa, G-daughter turned up " I was in the car so it was HI BYE.. no acknowledgement- but that’s OK. I had the best nite.

Merry Widow was just BRILL. G-BOY SHONE SO BIG. So so proud of him. This is going to be his life " he’s starting a stage school with his girlfriend in the local area. He’s verra quiet and unassuming " but when he hits that stage " he has true presence, he transforms " splendid. So proud for G and G-son. Was truly a pleasure to watch him and G’s family performing.

So I’ve taken my potion and hoping to sleep soon. FQ " glad K is back " Happy Happy to my bro " I miss you both " I had to wear your jacket tonight so you were with me. You would have LOVED it " i think you would have jumped on the stage.

Good evening.............. happy.

BEAgle " the new boat toy is awesome. Fantabulous name. Just excellent.

Hoping DjjD is all settled in at the school house and had a safe trip.

Blue " where’re you " you off riding yer horse rounding up the cattle?

Lovin’ y’all " thinking of you all " have a wave of tiredness washing over me " I think I may have to go bed.

GREAT NITE. So pleased. Phew.............................

@ehBeth,
Oh Bethie it was.......... verra good evening. Felt really good. Settled a bit. Didn't worry about all the other throngs of folk there. Was just so pleased to be with G at something that was important to his kid - and his kid was superb. They all were - such a brilliant performance - you could feel the story, some great comedy, much emotion in the singing. Almost brought a tear to my eye in some of the one-on-one songs. Beautiful.

G-boy and his girlfriend are directing and producing their own play in a few weeks time in the local town - a spoof of musicals - will be great. They are very talented. Will excel in a business that they will love.

Thanku Beth - I think you would have loved all the singing and dancing - makes you want to stand up and applaud - so happy.

Hope you are doing well - the best you can - love, hugs, always. xxxx
