Yes we're home again. New toy went like a charm, very economical, quite amazing actually. Heel feeling 100%, no more pain but still wearing the pads for a while.

Today is catching up time, doing a bit of work around the place and get warm. Down to 2.9 degrees this morning, freezing........

oh....... that's quite exciting - countdown!

oh........ how good would it be to see a bear! OMGAWD - don't let the camera leave your side a?

about 30 years ago while camping in the same region as the island, we went for a hike ans coming over a crest we saw two bear cubs playing in the valley below, adorable certainly, but also frightening, momma bears are fiercely protective, we slowly turned around and made our way back the way we had come, all the time checking over our shoulders

oh brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! it's about 10 degrees here at the moment and the stars are SOOOOOOOOOOOO bright - had a major downpour earlier today when I was driving - there was so much steam coming off the road tho it didn't feel that warm outside Hoping it's gonna be a good day tomorrow.

No idea what set the flare off - haven't lifted a finger leave alone anything else - darn nuisance I can do without. Overtired too - ha - there's a thing.

Nem'mind - it will pass. Head is on straight - so that's good a?

I met G's daughter tonite - well, met isn't exactly the correct word - she ran in, I was in their conservatory - she shouted "I need a wee" (oh, so know that expression ) and then just shouted up she was having a shower and leaving again. I said "hey" - she said "hi" - tho I didn't actually see her. When she left I said "have a good time" (she's out clubbing - ack - remember those days - ack ack ack) - and she did say thanks. So.... even tho I didn't actually see her - we were in the same house together and I didn't get a hissy fit - so that was kinda Uber Coool! I think!

Actually - I don't really mind too much at the moment. I'm in "whatever " mode - ha - I really am 16 you know!

ah...... see...... I wouldn't know what to do there. I'd probably just freeze now and keep taking pics - and then end up as dinner. When I went hiking in Banff (oh, don't I sound Mz World Traveller stunning place, just stunning ) we were warned about the bears but they said not to turn your back to the bear if you happened upon one, just back up real slow and keep an eye on it. Errrrrrrr - quite honestly, if I'd seen one - I wouldn't have had a clue then, or now, but back then it was such an adventure and no way was anything ever gonna happen - immortality and all when you are a kid.

I just need to say one thing whilst I'm compus mentis!

I AM SMILING SO BIG TIME RIGHT NOW. Funny 'ole thing. I feel kinda peaceful as a new day dawns

Shoulder's still a little caput, well, my right side is grumbling - will be a heavy duties day - so may go rest up a bit later - BUT - HOW HAPPY IS THAT. I SLEPT! <with a little help from my friends>


I must go do - I have chores ... and some, to do. This is just to reassure Missy knows that she has no chores at all - BECAUSE - she's at the beach - received a little word from our Darlin Dixie Dal saying she was in having a wonderful time and being with the family and boyz soon. GOOD FER MISSY - ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY. Love you girlie. x

MaMa is on her way - she needs me to do some work for her on the computer - more comfortable doing it on my laptop not their dinosaur over there - so I'm staying here for the day today. Seriously, I must to cleaning....... or not, if I get bored of that

Now - if I could learn to cook pizza without burning it - I'd eat too! HA! Oh my - what a day. I did no chores at all. How wonderful is that

This morning was quite exciting. Do y'all remember, prolly not, that my young Godmother (90) is writing her autobiography - weeeellllllllllllllll - this morning I typed some of it up - her journey is utterly amazing - first white nurse in Zimbabwe - from farmer's daughter to Africa. What's so strange too - is actually, she talks the same as I do - in her writing. I never realised that - you know, when I talk with her - we sound different - but as I was reading some of her writings...... well, I just couldn't stop smiling - we talk the same on paper, she even does dots after she writes...

So, that was good.

I had a relaxing afternoon - surprisingly so - my joints are still caput - but not as bad as yesterday by any means.

I need to go and find something to eat now - burned pizza is just too horrible and my tummy is complaining. Weetabix - oooooooooooh.... that sounds good...... no cooking required

I've got the Monday off so next weekend.... no, the following weekend is a definite ON (health permitting! you know...) - will drive up like before (OMGAWD - just how many phonecalls will it take this time) or.... may go up to FQ in Essex - will see how I'm doing - on the Fri and then Sat as planned and Sunday - well, ya reckon Bruce might dance with me?????????

Oh... I shoulda said earlier that Missy said "hey" to everyone here on her travels. Ah, she'll be having a fine time tonite - enjoying her family. So happy for her.

right............ off to fight with a superking mattress... yuk, hate putting sheets on - I can never lift the mattress corners - drives me mad! Darn hands.

Hope those aching joints keep improving and you can fulfil all your travel plans and do a little 'housework', you and mismi make a good pair when it comes to that. Pleased to hear mismi is having a good time.

Oh so cold this morning so I'm about to cook myself some hot porridge to warm up, having a cuppa whilst I speak. Wish I could help you with your 'superking mattrass' , I can imagine it would be a struggle with your aching hands.

too much pain methinks.

I've got work tomorrow, a full day ahead and out in the evening (meeting G's son, sis and bro-in-law who are all performing in The Merry Widow in the city) so it's gonna be a looooooong day. Oh my.
