@Izzie,
Morning Izzie, I just happen to be around the place and thank you for your hug. Had a great day actually, met brother and wife in them Hills around here and went to a cosy Restaurant where we had a meal of Dutch Croquettes with hot mustard, yummy. Will take a picture of 'our' babies this weekend, want to show you my two oranges ripening. Smile
Have a nice day Captain, and no speeding on your way to work. Wink

@Dutchy,
Hey Hey

Good Afternoon Very Happy

Another verra (too) busy day at work - too much to do, too little time. Went for a drive on the moors after - spun my wheels - cleared away the cobwebs - there is nothing so sweet as an old classic car, that purrs as she drive's herself, and not another car on the road - makes me smile!

So pleased you had a good day out BEAgle - looking forward to seeing the pics.

Exhausted..................again. Going to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ...

@Izzie,
Morning Izzie, why did you have to mention 'the hoover', Mrs.B has it ready for me to do my bit after breakfast. No rest for the wicket. How sad is that? Laughing Laughing Laughing

Was that your way of letting of steam by spinning your wheels all over the moors? Be careful doing that, yesterday a group of youths did the same on a lonely desert road in the North of our State and rolled their car with fatal consequences!

More bad news from the Q'land/NSW border where after record rains whole towns are underwater and thousands of people had to leave their homes. The place has now been declared a disaster area.

The only good news is, I'm marinating a heap of green prawns for the BBQ tonight, will eat them with some nice salads and a bottle (or2) white wine from our own Barossa Valley. Looking forward to that. Smile

@ehBeth,
OH MY GOODNESS!

I missed this, all the way back on Wednesday! I don't check in on Yabber-liner that often (as you can tell! I'm forever catching up) and then just now thought WAIT did Beth open that damn envelope yet??? And saw congrats first as I went back pages in time (yay, looks like the news was good) and then finally got back to this post. Hooray!! Congratulations!

@ehBeth,
OK, I feel a tiny bit sorry for rum-toting manager. It's all of a piece -- new place happy to get you, old place sorry to lose you. Glad that it's all official and everything though.

(Still thinking of you, Mr. Hamburger and Mrs. Hamburger and hoping that things are progressing as well as they can...)

@Izzie,
Home with a big bouquet of roses, some home-made hot sauce from a good friend, some little trinkets and full up on hugs, kisses and samosas <sigh> I will miss the verra lovely people there, but not the horrors of waiting to find out how far down the company can be down-rated.

Tomorrow's project: get a few more upscale work clothing items to up the style v groovy funk quotient.

Three three third period.

Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks.

Referees called eleven minutes of penalities (bogus ones) on the Wings in first period alone.

Wingmen tied it all up in the second.

Waiting start of thirt. Hostile territory.
