nice, not sure what we actually call the little ones like that, the big ones are called dragonflies, and i've heard people call the little ones darning needles
Ohhh soo cute Izziee..there were plenty of this one in our place.. now i guess they have kind of become extinct..There are children who catch them by their tail and watch them pick up tiny stones!! I always kept a 100ft away from insects of all sort ;P so i never stooped to it. a vegetarian conscience wouldn't allow it
fading fast....................... witching hour is upon me - gonna have to go lie down.... ohhhhhhhhhh!
been outside just pottering around and "doing" for a few hours - its gorgeous out there.
The girl dawg is in trouble - she took off across the river into the sheep field and decided to roll - ack - nasty! disgusting stinker.......... she now looks like she has been in a tumble drier having been hosed down. She then promptly went out and rolled in the dry mud!
energy - i need some please! just a little... that would be sufficient
heaps to be done in the house but I'm cream crackered
Oh Izzie - I am so sorry. Take it easy - do not take on too much! Bad dog! BAD DOG! My two are stinky too. And they are barking at the neighbors lawn boy right now...very annoying. I may need to bring them in...that should help a WHOLE lot. Ah...they are back on the screen porch! Good.
I went and ate lunch with my three boys today. I got sand buckets and bubbles for G-baby's end of the year party...and bubbles. I am now about to do laundry - yuck. yuck. YUCK!
We have a game again tonight...so....probably won't be here.
Glad to hear your foot is feeling better Dutchy - keep those stretches up! Also happy to hear about your rain and that DeeDee is doing well.
Want an instant smile? Just hop on over to the Yabber - Liner. Have a seat. Kick your feet up. Read what all the sweetpeas have to say. Look at all the awesome pics. And let out a big happy sigh, because there are so many wonderful people in one spot, even though they are scattered about, all over the world.
Yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about! Love giving you guys credit for the first smile of my day!
Try! Stop running off all the time! Geez, what are we to do with you? You know how that drives us girls crazy when we don't have you to swoon over!
Izzie .... rest, dear one. Rest. xoxoxox
I hate when I post and I can't look back to name each one of you, individually, that has posted recently. My brain is so burned out these days.
Well, it's as good of an excuse as any! Just know that I love you guys and wishing everyone - everything sweet.

I didn't sleep - I lay there in a state of body shut down - eyes wide open! I rested - so I guess that's something!
Now.............. the hoover awaits - oh joy!
Izzie, I worry about you. You don't get enough sleep. Rest. I don't have to tell you how important sleep is. Especially when your body is healing. I'm not big on unsolicited advice, so I'm gonna make a friendly suggestion. Please be kind to yourself. You're kind to everyone else. Please put yourself at the top of the list.
Morning crew, excellent photos once again djjd and Izzie. Hope you had a good siesta somewhere today Captain, as Roberta said your body needs it.
Hi Brooklyn good to see you too, hope all is well with you and yours and Daddy keeps improving.
Our rain is still falling steadily, 15mm sofar, may not sound much but it is like manna from heaven down here.
National Holiday tomorrow (Saturday) downunder. ANZAC Day when we remember our fallen soldiers from all the wars we've been and still are involved in. No shops will be open but the Pubs will be, always do a roaring trade after the marches are over. Local tradition where old mates meet once a year to reminiscence over a cold beer.
Good to see you, too! Is getting ready to go out. An old friend of mine just got in from out of state. I haven't seen him in forever. No classes tomorrow and I am in need! Too bad you can't come with me. I bet you'd be fun to party with!
Anyhoo, I keep forgetting to give you guys some news. It seems that Kimmie is prego again. Wasn't exactly planned. I guess that's a good incentive for her to get Noah out of diapers before the new one arrives!

@Izzie,
Great news about sister Kimmie Brooklyn, hope you have a great night out girlie, and let your blonde hair down, what the heck. I too love a party but doubt if I'll be able to keep up with the likes of you, Izzie and F/Q.
Oh Izzie what a beautiful spot that backyard of yours, would love to drink a cup of Earl Grey with you there, it looks so peaceful. As always enjoyed your pictures looking forward to the rest. Good night dear friend, sleep well.

Am I hearing right? Your foot's improving Dutchy? That's good news!
Thanks for the pic of the berry tree, Izzie. (I hope you're reading this tomorrow because you're fast asleep!) Will see dj in a few days and get a taste of spring. I have tulip leaves here and the rhubarb looks like it's coming back after a severe haircut but there was also a chance of snow flurries this morning! We have had some excitement thanks to a pair of bluejays building a nursery in our spruce tree. They haven't moved in yet but appear @ 7am every morning to work on their nest (and squawk for breakfast). They're tolerant of the chickadees, juncos and mourning doves but chase the grackles and squirrels away. There's a big comfy chair in front of the window providing a ring-side seat for all the drama.
School's out so after some family visits we'll be heading north. I'll post some more photos on the College Guy thread.
