@Izzie,
Hey all

hope you are all ok. VB you take care girl one step at a time

Izzie I enjoy the meal so good to have you out for a meal etc. I loved the pictures, and to know the boys are have a great time together. We had a girlie evening watching Twilight. But before that it got a bit heavy, Mum talking about Michael and S girl and I ended up in mega tears, I mean real mega nearly rang but kept things under control.

Had my brother here and sister in law when I got back from Izzie that was a major tense again. I kept out of it, so did S girl, she stayed in her bedroom.

The weather has turned bad here mega winds and rain.

Iz do you want to go Eden next week when I get back I will drive.

FQ hope all is well with you.

Beagle how are things

Mismi, families are great but just loads of stress all at the same time, just so much to do but they make you smile.

Take care one and allX

@wandeljw,
Hey jw - oh, I just love the looks on their faces - so expressive - they are so happy. It's fabulous seeing them be "kiddie kids".

I wish your snow would go - I know it affects people awfully and March is a loooong month - we're into April now - so I am pushing our realitively warmish weather west and hope it get's to y'all soon.

We have torrential rain here tonite after a lovely day, the wind has really picked up and the river is rising. The grass badly needs a haircut - it's into the "shaggy" look at the moment - so maybe tomorrow will be having a short, back and sides if the rain goes. Oh - you should hear the wind here - gusting and stuff flying abooooot. Verra verra loud!

Can still hear giggling boyz upstairs - they are both such good kids! Bless 'em! Will you give Annie a hug for me please when she comes in - she's a darlin' too. Love to you and yours jw.

@annis,
Oh Tulip.... no no no.... brother needs to stay away for a bit. <slaps his wrist!!>

You OK now - you want me to call or is Mom still up? Would suggest you come over - but the gales are horrendous - wouldn't want you out on the road in this.

YES to Eden - would love to! Any day - well, warmish day! Mind you, most of it's inside isn't it. Will have to see how the toots are - spoke to the physio today after you went - if I wear my delightful and very sexy brace - should be fine to walk around. Lovely..... <ahem> Wink

If it all get's too much - go upstairs and close the bedroom door and put a chair against it - do the tuning out we were talking about earlier OK.

Don't the boyz look wonderful - oh, giggling.... they giggle like girls!!!!!!!!!!!

edit.... oh oh oh - guess what - The Store Post Office took over 30 cards. How happy is that? They offered to pay for them - but I said sale or return - and also agreed for them to take a nearly 50% cut - well, you know, they are lovely people - and I am the worst sales person in the world. Quite happy for them to make the profit from them if they sell. Very Happy

@Izzie,
Morning all, nice to read your posts and admire Izzie's photo's, those two boys seem to really hit it off together. Mismi rest assured you'll get a letter in the mail advising you all is well! Not girl talk Izzie, Beagle knows all about these procedures.

Now Captain I'm going to tell you something if you promise not to laugh! I'm in the war with my foot and I'm hobbling like you. Smile Have had a nagging pain in my left heel for over a month and paid the Dr. a visit yesterday. I was diagnosed with "Plantar fasciitis" which will take sometime to get over. Need to wear a pad inside my shoe to cushion the heel. Now we have something more in common. Smile

Will be back later.

Wonderful to see your son and Tulip's son having fun, Izzie.

We also had a little more snow in Chicago on Sunday night and winterlike temperatures. No telling what happened to JPB. Her part of Illinois is trying to emerge from the ice age. Smile

HA! Yes, indeed. I flew home Sunday from DC. It was much more pleasant there.

I'm glad to see everyone upright and not toppling, although those boys look like they're about to topple over from laughter. They make me smile too.

Take care of your foot, dutchy. PF can be very, very painful.

Hey to the rest of the crew and more thoughts and prayers headed to Ohio from here.

@Dutchy,
Oh BEAgle..... you are an orthotically ornithologically challenged BEAgle now!!!!!!!!

So sorry that you have this - nasty and painful. You need to bear less weight and have just read up on it and it says the following:

Treatment
Many different treatments have been effective, although without treatment resolution may be delayed for up to and over a year.[2] Initial treatment includes stretching of the Achilles tendon and plantar fascia, keeping off the foot as much as possible, weight loss, arch support and heel lifts, and taping.

There are a few simple maneuvers that may bring relief without need for further intervention.[3] Many sports medicine practiioners suggest placing a frozen can of corn or even a cold beverage can under the affected foot and rolling it back and forth using the foot. This method provides a stretch and an ice massage simultaneously.
[/b]

OH MY - perhaps a little fishing with a can of sweetcorn and a few cold tinnies underfoot would do the trick a??????? Razz

Sending you these - ice cold for Toots and Heels - Tooheys cans

http://www.taverntrove.com/beerpics/Tooheys-Flag-Ale-Cans-Self-Opening-10-12oz-Tooheys-Ltd_20719-1.jpg

Please, do take it easy - I don't wanna have to be sending you my sexy brace - we couldn't have two of us tangoing on the deck without some support under the arches a??????

Take it easy hun - I know how painful it is and you must try not to put to do too much weight bearing. So sorry you have to suffer that. Hugs and smooches. x

JPB - there's our gal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUGS and HUGS and HUGS. x

@Izzie,
Good morning all. Wow, what a week! Just took the in-laws back home to their place so for the first time in a few weeks hubby and I have our place to ourselves. New granddaughter coming along fine and grandson accepting her better than we thought. The poor cat though looks like he wants to leave home "not another one"he says. He has been visiting me and sleeping here a bit. Bought four chooks and they have started laying already which is a treat for grandson to go and collect the eggs and help feed them. Haven't had a chance yet to go back and read all the "goss" but did read you have a problem with your foot Beagle. No more chasing Mrs Beagle me thinks. Hugs to all.

Oh Indeedee - lovely to see you and hear all are doing well in the DDclan (except the kitty of course!!! Razz) Bless those little g-kids - gosh gal, you must be exhausted. You 'n hubby need some "us" time together - has he done the retirement bit yet or is he still dabbling for a while. Be lovely if you could go aways for a weekend or something and have a rest a?

you know, that's the BEAgles problem a? He's been chasing MrsB around the kitchen table - that'll learn him!!!!! Seriously tho - nasty nasty pain and on the heel - well, heelish hellish to walk on. He'd better behave and keep his foot massaged - perhaps we could tie him to a lounger and take turns doing a foot massage!... or perhaps we could drink the cold tinnies whilst we stick his foot in the air Wink

Anyhoooooo -wonderful to see ya gal. Love to MaMa and PaPaDD and lots of love to all of you. xxxx ((((((((((((DDXXClan)))))))))))))

@deedeexx,
Hey Indeedee - yep, boiler all done and walls been insulated. House needs to be decorated - haven't done a thing since I moved here and it's not got my mark - it's all a bit "twee" for me - artex ceilings and wallpaper that is not my taste at all, carpets (ack) - but it looks alright for the time being - need a lot more energy before I start doing that Razz Glad you and hubby have got some plans lined up - will do you both the world of good to get away for a bit. Very Happy

Well crew - it has been awfully funny today again - the boys have been surfing in the babbling brook - you have never seen the likes of it. They had their surf gear on, welly boots, broken bodyboard, verra little water in the brook despite the rain last nite - but boy, did they have a good time. Much laughter and shouting. Unfortunately, as is wont to happen with little fellas - S-boy had a fall on a slippery rock and it ended in tears - bless - but he's fine now and they are having a warhammer battle on the floor in front of me at the moment. HA - they both just leaned forward at the same time and bumped heads. Dollops!

Got some funny pics to post later - but this is them earlier...

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/DSC02675.jpg

Beautiful warm day - bright sunshine and I have given my lawns a major haircut - has just about done me in. Tulip, her Mom and S-girl are on their way over in a bit for a cuppa so we shall have a wee sit down in the garden.

Hoping everyone's having a good day.

Be back laterz x

@Dutchy,
Hi to all. Sure did enjoy the food in SA. Although the Gold Coast is calling too - lots of lovely restaurants up there. Izzieliz, do you have any eels in the creek? We have a creek (that runs when we have rain) right down the back of the property which has eels. Good luck with the Easter shopping Beagle.

@deedeexx,
Hey Crew

Oh BEAgle - hope the hobbling improves soon and it's not causing you too much discomfort.... well, you know, would prefer you weren't having any pain at all. Not too much walking when you go shopping a?

Indeedee - I shouldn't think we get eels - ha - if S-boy thought that he wouldn't go in I reckon!!! I suppose we may do - we certainly have fish - brown trout - but not sure what else - maybe the odd sheep and bullock in a storm Shocked

So - here they are - the little adventurers - lazy days of summer in Spring time - has been the best Spring I can even remember...

@Izzie,
Spring for you and Fall for us. Long time for us to wait to see the blossom again. Babysitting new munchkin at the moment whilst daughter has some quality time with grandson. You forget how easy they are to look after at this age. Feed, change, sleep. Feed, change, sleep. Got all the grandchildren here for Easter and the egg hunt. Won't make the mistake of putting any where the geese can get them this time. Smile

@deedeexx,
Oh yeah Indeedee - little baby munchkins can be the best "time wasters" too - sitting holding the kids as bubba babies - just watching their tiny wee faces - beautiful. Glad you have sleepy munchkin and daughter has runaround fella - good for them to have a little qaulity time together - can be so hard trying to balance it all out with a newborn and a lively toddler runaround.

Your daughter & SIL are so very blessed to have you and her family around her - what a wonderful way to bring up children with generations of family to be near and close to everyday. Must be very special for MaMa and PaPa too. Good onya gal - you must be verra proud of them too. x

btw - how is aunt who had fall doing - she k?

Yes, thank you Izzieliz (god, you have a good memory). She is okay now but it has decided her son and daughter-in-law that she cannot live on her own anymore and they are moving her interstate to their place in a granny flat. Mum and her will miss each other but we all think it is for the best. Just about to take mama out for lunch and do some shopping for Easter so hugs to you girlie and take care for now. Hugs to all the crew for Easter and hope you all enjoy the time with your loved ones. XXXXXX
