@djjd62,
DjjD - crocuses - lots of lovely crocuses poking their heads thru the earth to soak up the sunshine.

<gets up, dances a jig, sits back down>

Missy - oh - I'm accomplishing not a lot too - but more than yesterday which is definite bonus. Lolloping hound dog Scooby has come back today - he's had a major haircut and looks more like a friesian calf than a dawg! Bless the 'ole coot - he's really not all quite there. He hasn't stopped herding Maddie since he lolloped in, which drives her and me mad. He's happy to be home - just gotta watch now he doesn't take my feet from out underneath me as he lollops Shocked

@Izzie,
Watch the doggy - don't let him step on those tender toes! Bless his bones - glad he's home though! Mine have been driving me nuts. I love them - but they are a bit jealous of each other today - which means they stay under my feet...I had to put them outside before I hurt them AND myself.

Tea - I need tea

Dear sweet Margo wrote, “Dissertation causes desertion or deportation, most likely!
Stop merkin' around!”

Margo, a nod from you is akin, nay, analogous to being jabbed in the eye with a pointy stick; it’s effects may be immediately felt. The same cannot be said about Mary Wollstonecraft who as you probably know was an eighteenth-century British writer, philosopher, and feminist.

She is best known for A Vindication of the Rights of Woman (1792), in which she argues that women are not naturally inferior to men, but appear to be only because they lack education. She suggests that both men and women should be treated as rational beings and imagines a social order founded on reason.

Wollstonecraft married the philosopher William Godwin, one of the forefathers of the anarchist movement; they had one daughter, Mary Godwin (later Mary Shelley), who would go on to author Frankenstein. Small world!

As y’all know my English she is not so good, so I have been practicing with:

A skunk sat on a stump and thunk the stump stunk, but the stump thunk the skunk stunk.’

Try saying that with a mouth full of candy… Not that Candy could do any better with:

The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick.’

Nice pictures everybody; I must go dust off my box brownie. The Brownie cost me a dollar and it uses film that cost less than 15 cents a roll! It takes snaps in glorious monochrome; I have yet to progress to hand tinting / colorization.

With a fair wind I should be back at the trailer park by Thursday, I will check if I still have my pictures of Thomas Woodrow Wilson.

BTW; does anybody remember the Oswego Harbor West Pierhead Light, in Oswego, New York? Such happy times.

Ok, gotta go catch supper.
