@mismi,
nope, I'm thinking about an omelet with scallions and mushrooms. Or maybe just some scrambled eggs and a bit of leftover salmon.

what's your pleasure, Iz?

@Izzie,
eh...I just had toast and tea. It was a wonderful dream...mouth watering even.

Good for you Iz...Thoughts are with you sweet friend.

I just finished all of my room mom e-mails and letting the doggies out and getting the garbage to the curb for pick up...it was very little garbage today - I was proud of myself. So really - I am off for a while. Should be anyway - it is a gorgeous day here....going to need to get my boys out in it!

Hugs to all you sweet folks,
mis

@Izzie,
Izzie querida, Sorry to hear about the pain. I'm hoping that new meds will help.

I don't agree that you have to spend the rest of your life alone. Some people can't deal with problems, and plenty of others can see past them to the person who's got 'em. Give yourself some time to heal from this latest round.

I'm not one to be giving advice. I kvetch constantly. But that's my nature.

The gurgle/growls are mostly involuntary and don't emanate from my larynx. But I was growling like crazy last night. Couldn't fall asleep I was making so much noise.

In your travels, when you get to the USA, you'd better come to Noo Yawk. Don't care whether I can talk or not. You're gonna get a major hug. MAJOR.

I hate that you're suffeirng pain too Izzie. I wish I was younger and starting a career--I think I would try to go into some kind of medical research focused on solving some of these intractable problems like you and Roberta and others are having to endure. It seems so unfair that the people who deserve such problems the least are the ones who get them.

Ya'll probably know that I believe in God, but whether you do or not, I bet you can appreciate my belief that he doesn't allow a poison into the world without providing an anecdote. Lets hope we discover it for you guys soon.

Have fun Darlin Dixie....

I'm going dancing in the Moonlight...

lllalalallalalallllllllllllllalalallalla

We get it on most every night
when that moon is big and bright
its a supernatural delight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight

we get
everybody here is out of sight
they dont bark and they dont bite
they keep things loose they keep it tight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight

dancing in the moonlight
everybodys feeling warm and bright
its such a fine and natural sight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight

we like our fun and we never fight
you cant dance and stay uptight
its a supernatural delight
everybody was dancing in the moonlight

dancing in the moonlight
everybodys feeling warm and bright
its such a fine and natural sight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight

we get in on most every night
and when that moon is big and bright
its a supernatural delight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight

dancing in the moonlight
everybodys feeling warm and bright
its such a fine and natural sight
everybodys dancing in the moonlight

@Tryagain,
I feel so enlightened now - in more ways than one - thanks for your insight. Wink

Now - my babies - and baseball....score 21-8 WE WON! It was a great game. S (obviously accident prone like his mama) got hit twice when batting - made it home three times...J - got walked twice and got a hit the third time...pitcher dropped it and he made it to second off of the error - but he made it home all three times as well. S played pitcher and short stop - J. played second base the entire time...they did great. Good defense. LONG DANG GAME - 2 1/2 hours - 3 innings...I kid you not. Kid pitch baseball is hilarious.

Izzie, I hope you are in bed having sweet dreams - It's where I'm heading now -

see you all tomorrow!
nitey-nite!

@mismi,
I'm sorry - S was the catcher - J usually pitches but it was not his night...I love seeing those wee little ones squatting with their hands behind their back - the cutest...

Izzie - I got a Canon Powershot - and it has a lot of numbers and letters behind it...it has 10X mag and I will have to get the directions to get you the rest of the stuff...I am a technological idiot...have been my whole life Very Happy - As soon as I learn to download I will show you my two baseball players....

Rock - I had to tell S there was "NO CRYING IN BASEBALL" tonight - I told him gently though...gotta show him that scene...great scene.

@Rockhead,
that is such a great scene! I think I will stop it before he says "you know you look like a pinus with a hat on?" Don't think I want them repeating that - as they are want to do! HA! thanks Rock!

Can I just say that it was like pulling teeth getting them up this morning? Their game lasted until 10:00 pm - that is late for a 5 year old! Poor G-baby was beside himself tired this morning - I hated making him go to school...I will get them in early tonight...next late game on a school night, I will just have to take the other car and G-baby and I will get home early and in bed on time!

Izzie - I hope you are having a good day - that your body has been able to recuperate from all that hard work you did! I have much to do so I am signing off!!

Hope you all have a great day!

@mismi,
Morning Crew

The gal can move - a tad! Doing a little better today but weary - not half so much pain this morning and .... tho we're meant to be in the middle of a storm - it is tranquil and gorgeous outside - the sun is shining and blue blue skies - a day not to be wasted.

Up at 6am - got the little fella up to the school bus - and off he went. Came home - sorted some stuff and then took a drive across the moors. Went along all the tiny wee roads where fitting even one car is a push. FAB. The moors and the tors are fabulous - still a hazy shade of brown and green, mysterious and bleak, but calm and captivating - quite the picture perfect postcard (if you like that sort of thing).

Anyhooooooooooooooooooo..... I was brave today. No, I mean - really brave for me. I had to go to a far off distant post office to avoid going into town (towns have too many people for my liking so don't wanna go there right now) - well, what an opportunity. There was this really lovely helpful lady who I'd been speaking to on the phone trying to sort some things out - well, I got there and she made me feel real comfortable - I saw she had a bunch of photos of the moors for sale etc.... so, I asked her if she would take a look at some of the cards I had made (errrrr.... I haven't made any yet with my pics but have loads of old ones) - she offered to take them on a sale or return basis.

I did tell her the pics were a little out of the ordinary - you know, not scenic sorta photos - and certainly not everyones taste - but she said to bring them on in and she'd have a look. Well, I thought, I have nothing to lose - all I need to do is print off a few pics and mount them on some cards (of which I have hundreds of card stock, envelopes, mounting board and shiny see thru cardwrap bags from when I used to make them.) How blooming brave was that a? Shocked If I hadn't gone to that particular Post Office, I would never have done that.

So, having approached my local post office here before (they aren't the friendliest of people.... nice and all, but I don't have a comfort zone with them) - I didn't end up taking any in to them - but now I can on t'other side of the moors. Uber cool. They prolly wont sell - but, it's worth a shot. Who knows!

Now, I just need to go make some Razz

NOW.... talking of hairy - there's a firkin' hairy 8 legged monster in the garage above the drier. Oh nooooooooooooooo..... I have sprayed out there, I stood by the door, sprayed and ran like heck, but I'm a bit scared to go back in there in case it has mutated overnite and has 6ft hairy legs, 8 hairy eyeballs and will eat me. UGH.... it's verra nasty. NASTY NASTY NASTY. I know they do good things - but they make me feel sick. YUK. NASTY.

kk... need to move now - MaMa & PaPa are on way over to "do"... as they do.... the blue pagoda has rotted - and I need a place to sit by the river without falling in- so the big wooden table is going by the river but I need help to move it. Oh... so much to do... too little time. Life is running away.

Be back to catch y'all later.

Mis - glad all was good at the game - hope G-baby isn't too cranky when he gets home tonite. x

'Ello Margo and Rock Very Happy

Good days to all.

@Izzie,
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH.... IT IS SO LOVELY OUTSIDE! BRRRRRRRR.... but so very lovely. I've been climbing trees - how brilliant does that feel? Bloody brilliant, that's how good. So many plans.... I can see it ... it's there in my head what I want to do ... I just need to do it. Time... all in good time. Patience.

Parents haven't got here yet - so........ gonna go just sit quiet for a while now. Got a nice cuppa in hand... I don't want to sit still today. I don't want to be 'a patient'. Patience patience patience - need to be patient a while longer.
