@mismi,
I know - I miss that too a lot - it's not so easy to do them now.... used to love that with all the crew pinging away, especially with a load of us on at the same time ... would have me in stitches. Such a shame. Haven't seen Dev in ages either - she was good at them too.

@Izzie,
I gotta go - going to be in hot water...must start supper. Cranky boys just came in from riding their bikes. Whining a bit - going to get them in bed EARLY tonight - for my own sanity and their best interest - both are intertwined. Wink

Hugs hun...had a wonderful time this afternoon!

@mismi,
Morning crew, nice to be able to play the threads with you for a while. Using a Mac laptop to which I'm not use to hence my replies were a little tardy.

Enjoying life to the full at my present location and being rather spoilt. Weather is lovely and the ocean looking the deepest of blue, just magnificent. Tuna boats returned to port this morning which was a lovely sight.

Could quitte easily settle here, the scenery is stunning with beautiful homes facing the ocean and plenty of room for more if you have the money............ Smile

Mrs. Dutchy won't play ball though, loves city life and won't make the 500 mile move, end of story. Sad

My thoughts are with those of you that needs a little uplifting in your life, wish I could share some of my good fortune with you.

Cheers for now.

@Tryagain,
and there's this'n:

Wollstonecraft, a pleasant, established suburb on Sydney's lower North Shore about 5km or so from the city’s CBD, sweeps from the Pacific Highway down to the middle reaches of Sydney Harbour.

It is a suburb distinguished by fine homes and, increasingly, apartments that proliferate among the hills. Many have million dollar views across the harbour to the suburbs of Birchgrove, Balmain, Woolwich, Hunters Hill and beyond.

Wollstonecraft is among Sydney’s wealthier suburbs, set off by an attractive, harbourside park where visitors can relax under the trees on those lazy days of a Sydney summer.

Known also as the current home of former Prime Minister, John Howard, but not in your time, I think!

@margo,
Morning Crew

Glad to see the BEAgle dropping by - hope today was a great one with family visiting.

hey hey Margo - oooooooooooooh... million dollar houses a? Nice..... if you have the money that is Wink Loved being in Sydney - will never forget the fireworks off the bridge and in the harbour on AusDay '88. Met some nice Irish folksies there too!

Sooooooooooooooo - it's a little brrr out there today - had big rain overnight and it's all a bit grey and miz- getting a little breezy. Electrician has been round this morning - and I now have a new working boiler - which is a bit happy.

I am moving again today - just a little slower than normal - but no major problems so far - ha, it's like that - that's what is so frustrating. Fine-ish right now - could be pants in a few hours. Hey ho. Positive positive.....

ahhhhh... wrote a big long post - deleted - prolly best - gonna pop down to the bottom of the garden with a big 'ole duvet wrapped round me and sit for a bit with a cuppa.

Wishing everyone a GREAT day. x
