Hello Izzie, have plenty of chocolate in the house, would love to share some with you and verbivore. Had one decent shower just now but there is more on the way. I can feel it because it is exceptionally humid outside, lots of moisture blowing in from the west. I sent both you and verbivore a follow up on Sam the burnt Koala, hope you enjoy it.

I'm going to try and get outside for a little bit - it's so beautiful out there - hard to do right now - need to feel the sun on my face tho. So peaceful here - can only the birds and the river (and the odd tractor rumbling through).... and a bleating sheep (that's another story).

Iz-! Lovely lovely pics! I'm sooo jealous! It's sooo cold here today, but is supposed to warm up to 40's & 50's F by the end of the week. That will be the warmest it's been here since some time last year - October maybe?! I'm looking forward to it!

They were indeed beautiful photos, Izzie. Makes me looonnggg for spring. Hope it gives hope to those suffering from fires and heat in Australia. What an ordeal they are going through.

devriesj (can I call you dev for short? That's my sis in law's name) Hope your cough gets better. I have an old timey recipe that might help if you're interested. Your weather sounds like mine - you're not in B.C. Canada, are you? 40's & 50's is like a heat wave here. Haven't felt anything warmer than that since, yeah, October, I think. Guess I should be thankful I don't live where it's minus 35-40. Now that's miserable....I know, I lived in the far north of BC for a year.....which felt like 10 years

Izzie, your crocuses are beautiful! I'm so starved for greenery that I'm trying to root an avocado pit in my kitchen window (actually, I'm trying to root it in a glass of water <haha>...the pit has cracked...I think that's a good sign).

Would anyone like to join my Whine and Cheese Club? Besides my daughter being a complete jerk lately, and me going through chemo, I now have to decide whether to have one more chemo session. Or not. How the hell do I make such a choice? How dare my doctor dump this decision on me. What would you guys do?

Morning ladies, you all certainly bring a smile to my face particularly now that it is raining, just lovely, rain, rain, rain. Need lots more but it has made start to soak the garden, keeping my fingers crossed its making its way towards ddxx.

DJJD once they get past today in Victoria things should hopefully be right, fires will burn themselves out eventually, its only the hot weather and in particular the strong hot winds that makes them so dangerous. Once the weather cools down they will get on top of them, only 4 still burning at present.

oh bathy im here..u spoke of chocolate and im sure eth BEAgle has gone to dig into some and what with the rains aftr a long time he must be haveing a great time n his patio watching the water wash away the heat that was there!
Oh talk of rains..and i get nostalgic..how i loved to watch it through my window back at home the lovely sight of rain dancing with fresh green stretches of paddy..and the smell of mud n its first bath..Sigh!!
