Feeling your pain, Tricia. Though I don't know the specifics, it's easy to see and feel your dismay. Like me, you are pressured with school, too. So anything extra that gets piled on you is even more gut wrenching. You have no idea how much I understand. It's frustrating from here because I would love to hug you right now. I just....wish. Love you bunches. xoxo (Email addy is in my profile if you ever wanna use it.)

Noah ....is home and doing well. Smiling at everyone. Slobbering and blowing raspberrys! Being his usual cutie-patooty self! Thank you again for each and every thought and prayer. Whichever the case may be! Just a BIG-BIG thank you!

Ok.....Forgive my laziness, crew! I haven't read back much! I got off campus early, BUT...I have a lot to do. I have to try and get the bulk of my homework for Monday done before Saturday, as Saturday I am in the Buckeyethon. It's a 14 hour dance to raise money for the Childrens hospital. You have to be on your feet the whole 14 hours! Shocked Here's a little youtube clip from a couple years ago.

I can't believe that it's almost March already. Can we say s-p-r-i-n-g!!!! Yeah, baby! Two more weeks of regular classes for this quarter. Then a week of exams. Then spring break! I'm doing an Alternate Spring Break this year. It's where the campus sends you to different areas to help those in need. I'm going to South Carolina to work on Habitat for Humanity with 12 other classmates. Ten guys and 2 girls! Thankful they put another girl in with me. Not sure I'd wanna go with ALL guys! Geez! It won't be all work, I'm sure. Lots of beaches close-by that will be calling out my name! Wink Some of the students get to go to Belize to fit some of those poor souls with shoes. I can't imagine being so poor that you have no shoes. God bless em'.

Ok.....off to do homework and then off to bed EARLY! And I dooooo mean, early! Sorely lacking in that department this week.

Hugs to all that need em' and as lovely Izz would say....Live~Laugh~Love.
Be kind to yourselves.

Hell-o folks; is this a cat fight I see going on? Well, after 617 pages of ‘lovey dovey’ stuff I for one welcome the distraction of some foxy boxing. After all it’s that dead time of winter - February is not over and spring is nowhere close, but football (by which I mean the NFL, American football) is over for the season. (Cry)

Fortunately baseball season hasn't started - I have to say that I find this the most pointless of all games - steroid bloaters play 162 games of rounder’s and each team wins and losses almost exactly half their games. As if that unending succession of individually meaningless games wasn't enough to bore everyone rigid it's only a prelude to a long, drawn-out playoff process, culminating in the so-called World Series, where one American team plays another American team. Although each team is mostly made up of players from the Dominican Republic.

So in the meantime we have basketball. What a waste of time that is. Each team of seven-foot, baggy-shorted, tattooed role-models takes it in turns to bounce the ball down the court and score, before running back to watch the other team bounce the ball and score. Again and again and again…..

Now foxy boxing " bring it on!

Hope all is going well for you Izzie; nice pictures.
Good luck Annis, I am sure your move will go well; a fresh start and new horizons.

To y’all: If you find serenity and happiness, teach others - if necessary; use words!

From Izzie:
'Bathy - glad you're here - you ARE doing well girl - tho I reckon feeling cr@p is wearing for you. Time hun - it'll get better in time. Keep walking those dawgs. How is your daughter doing these days? All going well?'

Ahhh...the daughter thing....is not going well at all. Funny you should ask. I don't know where to go with the problem she's presented me. Hope it resolves I guess. I begin to think that people with no kids are the lucky ones.

G’day backpackers and lovers of chocolate the world over.
Dear Veggy, to celebrate the fact that you found your husband on eBay; a Panchatantra tale…

Chandaraka was a jackal living in a forest. One day, driven by hunger, he came to a nearby town in search of food. Seeing him, a group of mongrels began chasing and attacking him whenever possible. The jackal fled in panic and entering the house of a washerman hid in a vat full of blue used for bleaching clothes. When he came out, he became a blue animal. Thinking that he was not the jackal they chased, the mongrels dispersed.

Seeing them scared, the dyed jackal said, “Why do you run away like that. There is no need to fear. I am a special creation of God. He told me that the animals in the jungle here had no ruler and that he was nominating me as your king. He named me as Kakudruma and told me to rule all of you. Therefore all of you can live safely under the umbrella of my protection.”

All the animals in the jungle accepted him as the king. He in turn appointed the lion as his minister, the tiger as his chamberlain and the wolf as the gatekeeper. After distributing office to the animals, the new king Kakudruma banished all the jackals in the forest. The lions, tigers and the wolves killed other animals and brought them as food for the king. Taking his share, Kakudruma would distribute the rest of the kill among his subjects.

One day when the blue jackal was holding court, he heard a gang of jackals howling. Thrilled by the sound of his own ilk, Kakudruma began loudly responding in his natural voice. The lions and other animals immediately recognized that their king was after all a jackal and not a Godsend. They at once pounced on the blue jackal and killed him.

“The moral is,” Damanaka said, “he who abandons his own folk will perish.”

Sorry Missy…

If you put me in a ring
For a few rounds of boxing
I'll fall down right there on the ground
Cause I'm a lover, not a fighter
I'm a lover, not a fighter

If you take me to a place
Where old trouble shows its face
I'll bow out
No, I won't hang about
Cause I'm a lover, not a fighter
I'm a lover, not a fighter

But don't ask me to defend
What I cannot comprehend
That is violence simply for violence sake
Now if you want me to prove myself
Without anybody's help
This I will do
In a gentle way too
Cause I'm a lover, not a fighter

Whoops…I'm a writer, not a fighter

Wisdom is not a product of schooling but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it, which is why I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.

Have a great weekend people " I will return (but don’t wait up).
