@Izzie,
Morning crew, best news for a long time, cool change hit us overnight and glorious rain is forecast for next Monday and Tuesday. Also the floodwaters from Queensland have started to fill our Lake Eyre, an enormous inland sea in the north of our State. To give you an idea of its size, it is as big as Germany, France and Italy combined and has only filled 3 times during the past 150 years. Despite its remoteness it will draw thousands of tourists in the coming months to witness a natural phenomena which will bring wild life, birds and fish to this arid area for a while until the water evaporates and the area once again becomes the driest and hottest place on this planet.
Just had to tell you this as they showed the water entering the lake on television this morning with thousands of birds following the water, an incredible sight.
Great to have you back fully plastered Izzie, and thanks for letting us know about Tulip's progress, as you say a big change but hopefully a happy one for her and the children.
Hi to our wandering minstrel 'tryagain', whose wisdom knows no bounds and writes the most beautiful lyrics from a fertile mind, mismy will be most impressed mate.
Getting ready to visit a most attractive Country pub for lunch with some friends, so won't be around until much later in the day.
Wishing you all a great weekend.
