the big melt has begun

Good morning all. Death toll up to 108 poor souls in Victoria. It is looking like another cooler day today and tomorrow so still some relief. Hope everyone is doing okay on board. Will be in and out today and try to catch up on all the news.

WhytVi - have you tried out any of the fb wordgames?

MM - will send Stacy an invite after the laundry rotation.

Izz - Jennkat did brilliantly - her first public solo performance - I can only hope to be so courageous sometime this year. She told me today via fb that she was going to sneak out and not perform - but I caught her just before her piece and hugged her and told her Set and I were in the audience for her - she was lovely!

Morning all, another cool morning here for a change, so will be out and about all day.

Bushfires still raging in Victoria, they have now been declared the worst in Australia's history, and presently the towns of Beechworth and Yackandandah are in their paths.

Police have declared many of the blazes "Crime Scenes" as the fires seem to have been deliberately lit and they're now talking of "Mass Murder"! Unbelievable. Death toll stands at 108 but is certain to go higher.

Ahhhhh... late here and nearly zzzzzzzzzzzzing. Last nite I awoke at my laptop at 4am.... so not good!

Djjd - man, that melted quick. We are freezing cold. One of my colleagues lives on a farm, in a valley and they are still unable to leave the farm. No gritters on their roads so they had to use to tractor to go and get supplies. Good for them methinks.
