Hey crew! It's been a quiet day today - thought just a little R&R was in order for crew and their shore-leave loved ones.
Thanku to our Special Agent Wandel for his lovely song. As always - his taste is impeccable - and it is fab to see the Dixie-Chicks when we are missing our own Dixie-girl. (miss ya mismi - but know you will be happy being with your family -safe journey home mismi-dixie-me). Thanku Wandel.
Our Special Wench was watching the skies in our part of the world, as was I. The weather here is very extreme for us and we are battening down the hatches in the South West. This is nothing in comparison to what we see world-wide - but all the same, a little extreme for our area. (Hoping it will be a "storm in a teacup" and that damage to our coastline and UK folk and their belongings izzn't serious). It's such a shame really, after all the blue skies and sun we have seen - as tomorrow the kids from my school and another local school are going on their annual residential trip - this is an outdoor centre where, for a school week, the kids just get to be "kids". I'm certain that, no matter what the weather - they will have the best time. I know my teachers will ensure they do.
The Bear and Indeedee are having another "HOT ONE". Hope y'all stay out of the heat and keep cool inside. I was so happy to see the family kidlets onboard OzyGal- they are absolutely adorable smunches - indeed, how proud you must be Indeedee. Just Gorgeous.
Stormy came by too to have a walk on the snow-free deck. Lovely to see you - hope the week in front of you izzn't too difficult for your colleagues whose jobs are precarious. Teach those special kids well girl - they need good folk like you in their precious lives.
Wishing that everyone is well and safe - thinking of you all wherever y'all are.
So dear crew - am putting in an early log tonite in case the power lines go down. Oil lamps are to the ready - so no worries as Chez Izzie.

Ps Stormy - yep, my photos except the last 4 - they were taken by Charlie's girls who have grown up with me snapping their photo's at every opportunity (drove them and my kids mad
). Bless her eldest girl - who is now doing her GSCE photography exams. She has taken on my love for photography with passion - but she is brilliant - she has a really good eye - and excellent "photographic vision" - currently, she photographs rock gigs (she's 15 yrs old - love her). I just point the camera and snap - I wrote the book on the "idiot's guide to photography" - buy a camera that does it all for you! No worries. :wink:

The deckhand wish to block your sun everyminute....and not by holding a parasol or standing so they make a shadow. Think they wanna be a little more touchy feely.
