@devriesj,
I think our English friends are all in dreamland Dev, those different times zones drive me bananas sometimes. Keep thinking must be late in the US as well by now?

the time zones are indeed a problem for most coherent conversation

@Dutchy,
It's only 10pm here. Late by some standards. I know Britain is 5 hours ahead of me. So, yes, it's the middle of the night there.
Quick edit: Hi, dj! Just missed ya!

@djjd62,
Hi guys, as the Beagle will have already said - "what a stinker of a hot day"!!! All the poor birds are sitting in the shade with their beaks open - the geese keep honking for a good squirt down - so, so hot and more on the way. I think it has set in until the end of the week. Back on fire watch. Hope everyone is well and someone please tell me about facebook on Ak2 and how to access.

@Dutchy,
I just signed up for facebook, so if anyone wants to add me, or if there is an A2K group, please let me know.

I used my real name (obviously) Jeff Slaton.

@mysteryman,
I just found the A2K group.
I sent friend requests to a few of you.
If anyone does add me, please put your A2K name so I can connect faces to the names.
Some of you I know, but many of you I cant connect a face to the name.

Thanx much

HA.. that made me laugh... coherent conversation with the shipmates.... brurururuhahhahahahha.... not on my watch!!!!

<goes and puts serious head on>

DjjD... THANKU SO MUCH for posting all of that - absolutely fascinating - just love it (notes the Celtic orange lichen too on the headstone) - you know, seeing / hearing about folksies pasts as well as the presents here - it's just brilliant. The buildings are so different to here - just wonderful to see - and thanku! I know this may sound weird - but we have all these wee tiny churches around here - and it's amazing to go and look at the headstones there - the dates and the stories on them. I'm not into history per se... you know, Henry the VIIIth I am, "am not".... and all that - but I love hearing personal history, specially when you can hear the pride in the persons voice (type) as they are saying it. Gives me the warm and fuzzies.

Oh... the ex-hub is Scottish.... and both my boys have Irish names.... kinda like the Celtic connection! Ima bout as English as you can get tho - HA!

@devriesj,
Hey Dev - well, actually, today I found something I thought I had lost... but I realised it was all going to be alright... and I started breathing again. Deep breath in, deep breath out.

Joints are a little annoying - and I am meant to be at my pre-op assessment right now - but I forgot Embarrassed - so it's now booked for Thursday. <doh> Horribly tired <there's a thing> and should go and have a wee rest now. Funny how the little grey cells spin around in the head 'aint it - oh for peace in my head! One day...

Anyhooooooooooo... other than that - it's good to see everyone aboard - I thought we had weighed anchor for a while, but looks like we're off around the world again. Very Happy
