@alex240101,
Dogs. I've got dogs that snuggle more and more as it gets cooler and cooler.

I sleep best when I'm a bit cold, so I move away from them, and then they catch up to me again.

Tonight is likely going to be a Two Dog Night Very Happy

@alex240101,
a LOT more snow? hmmmm

A bit more wouldn't be bad, but a LOT more could be problematic. I guess it'll be time to shovel the snow from the tiny front lawn into the space between the houses.

@verbivore,
Hi verbivore, have been out to the city all day and bought lots of little gadgets which were on my wish list, like a new webcam, 2G memory chip for my camera, flash drive, DVD's, enough toys to keep me of the streets. Smile
Thank you also very much for your warm thoughts, much appreciated.

I would be remiss for not thanking mismi for keeping us in her prayers, you have no idea how much this means to me. No update yet from my son today but sure he'll ring in the next hour or so. Somehow I don't think it will interrupt their season although there certainly will be a delay I reckon.

@Dutchy,
Further to my previous post son has just been in touch and sounded pretty optimistic. Decision made today to rebuild and to start fishing by the end of the month. Total damage bill around $5 million but covered by Insurance. On a brighter note, their 12 fish farms were already anchored in deep water 25 miles off shore, had they been damaged there would have been no fishing season. Son made a number of photos and when he has a bit of time will send them to me and I will post them to give you some idea of the fire damage.

@mismi,
gonna do just that, missy -- have a great day, that is.

It's currently -13F and tomorrow is supposed to be even colder but the sun is shining brightly through the window and I'm going to bask in the sunbeams and listen to reggae, zydeco, latin salsa, and anything else I can think of that reminds me of warmth and sunny sands.

@JPB,
Morning all. What a delicious piece of cake Izzie, I have a piece of that and work the calories off after. Smile

JPB I'm going to lay on that sunny warm sand later on with my mp3 player and listen to the kind of music you suggest.

Mismi, so proud of you, would love to see the 'end' product. Razz

verbivore good seeing you around, I left a message on your blog the other day.

Back later.
