@Izzie,
Wow....Izzie's tits are adorable! Razz

I got my hair cut...I am not sure what I think. It's pokey outy and shorter than I have ever had it in my life....apparently I had a hormonal moment

http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj243/amp_ammie/the_lake_house_2.jpg

It's okay - if I ever buy my camera I will get a pic and post it...I am not so sure about it. I am going to miss my pony tail.

My Dad was not pleased about the Sugar Bowl Alex and Dutchy - I myself don't care one way or another! But Daddy was pretty put out with them. Utah played great - no doubt about it. My boys were thrilled - and their Dad - they are Tennessee fans...I am like Switzerland. Actually I am for any team that plays in the S.E.C. - that conference kicks ass. Wink

Okay - I have to go assemble Lego thingys.

@Izzie,
Good morning all - Sunday morning here. Been busy working outside for the last couple of days. Hubby has borrowed some big machinery "toys" for clearing - I think I will be lucky if we still have a house standing by the time he is finished. Nice still day here, not going to get too hot so it's nice to be outside.

@deedeexx,
Morning Indeedee

Boys Toys! That could be fun a? You gonna have a go?

I need the plumber back - boiler is broken - well, it's been broken since FQsis was here - pressure was sorted - now something else in kaput - overheating and locks out - but being New Years knew we couldn't get someone over without hefty charges so every time it fires off - I fire it up again - been a pain in the bahookie - ack. It drove us all mad the last few days. Better make the call on Monday - ugh! Hey ho!

@Izzie,
Izzie - you and FQ are just too sweet - no, I am not prettier than Sandra Bullock - but you are sweet to say so! I LOVE that movie by the way - oh my goodness...so sweet.

DeeDee! I am sending undestructive thoughts for things that need to stay put. I can't even imagine if the Prof went and got those big ol' dirt movers and ditch witches...backhoes - whatever the heck they are...sc-sc-scary.

Izzie - I am sorry about the boiler...it's always something with a house. My toilet is leaking. Such a pain. Daddy thought he had it fixed then left and I just went in there and there is a puddle on the floor again - and NO - it's not from one of the boys! Wouldn't put it past them - but this is NOT tinkle.

hugs to all - still legoing.

There have been loads of probs with the boiler / heating / water pipes here.... one thing gets sorted, another starts. Think the boiler needs replacing - which............. just 'aint gonna happen after Christmas! Mucho 2 Cents Anyhoo - will call on Monday and see what's what. 'Til then - just gonna have to stay chilly - have got the fire going all day coz it's minus degrees and brrrrrrrrrrrrr over here!

It was interesting to see Mismi and Izzie discussing "The Lake House" with Sandra Bullock. My older daughter, Katrina, worked as an "extra" in that movie. They dressed my daughter in fancy clothes and had her sit at a table during one of the restaurant scenes. My daughter told me that the filming at that restaurant started at 7:00 p.m. and didn't finish until 2:00 a.m. in the morning. Sandra Bullock was busy the entire time filming her scenes. My daughter said that the actress is a very charming and lively person.

@wandeljw,
Ooooooooooooooooooh jw.... that's exciting!!!!! Good for Katrina. I wonder if it were the restaurant scene where SB was waiting for Keanu <swoons> to turn up.... and he didn't (well, he had a good reason... but hey!) I've seen her interviewed before and she seems real down to earth, very natural and sweet. Love her in the flicks - she's a great actress.

I love Meg Ryan in flicks too - but she was very rude to Michael Parkinson when she was interviewed in the UK - now NO-ONE should be rude to Parky - ever - he is a Brit legend here! Great great actress tho, Meg - real chick flick actress.

@Izzie,
Izzie,

They were trying to film all the restaurant scenes at the same time. The restaurant closed early, the film crew spent at least 10 hours there. My daughter was sitting right next to where Sandra Bullock was rehearsing her lines and preparing for each scene. A lot of the stuff they filmed did not end up in the final version of the movie. There is always a "post-production" phase for every movie director and producer where they decide exactly what stays and what is left out of the final version.

@wandeljw,
Does Katrina do acting or was this a "one off"?

@Izzie,
My daughter acted on stage during high school and college. In her last year of college she worked as an intern for a casting agency in Chicago. She currently works as a casting assistant for the American television series, "Without A Trace". Previously she worked as a production assistant for the television series, "Supernatural".

Here is a link to Katrina's listing on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB):

That's just fantastic jw - what an interesting job... you must be verra proud of your big girl. Smart, beautiful, great career and a loving family. I reckon she's a pretty fortunate young lady. Bless her. Annie shows the same confidence too - that is so lovely - big sis will be able to help her with the acting and drama as she gets older. You have a very wonderful family jw. Very Happy

@mismi,
Hi, Mis, weekend ok thx... quiet. In last 5 months of my course now and a bit behind so spend most of my time working hard! Pleased today to have got one assignment finished (we've been studying the history of crime and the assignment was on witch hunts which proved fascinating to research - loads of parallels with present day criminology, in fact).

Just celebrated by enjoying a vanilla cappuccino and a muffin in my fave coffee shop here on my way home! Have lost a stone slowly since September so can afford a little high calorie treat.

Your hair sounds up to the minute and I'm sure it looks good. Waiting for the pic! If you would like to be in direct touch, please ask Izzie to forward my email address to you - I'd like that, if you have time. T x
