Hey Mis... HA.... you should see me and the 'oles trying to get the Crimbo tree in the house. It's been potted for many years... and weighs a ton. We broke the trolleys, the steps got obliterated... BUT HEY... I HAVE A CRIMBO TREE IN THE CONSERVATORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (other things can be fixed) SMELLS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORGEOUS! Pics to follow....of course! You'll see my Pa! He smiled for the camera! They are here still, stressing (they do that a lot) so can't yabber. Be back later!

OH wow Izzie...how big is your potted Christmas tree...that's impressive. And a good idea. We have always had a live tree (well it was cut down so I guess technically it was dead - which is actually kind of sad now that I think about it) but my FIL gave us a fake one and it is so convenient and we don't have to spend money on another one...so we just use it. It is fine...I just buy rosemarry and wee pine wreaths to get the smells. Do love the smells...

Hey there Mis...

Well... it started off here by the bamboo...



And now it’s here in the conservatory... awaiting it’s makeover!!!!!



I had it as a tiny baby conifer... and being that my fingers are not green - Ima surpised it has grown and thrived - it was obviously growing up to be the Christmas Tree at the new Chez Izzie!

I had to put some lights on straight away.... no good having a 7ft tree in a gert big barrel with no lights on a? I love my lights, I’ve had them for years, some of them don’t work... but they each have little drop pearls on them and are still real pretty " I used to have “stained glass tiffany” lights " sadly they got broken, what with one thing and another " and tho I have searched the UK and US " I’m unable to find replacements " they were truly stunning. However, these wee pearls will be ticketyboo just the same. Oh, I'm waffling now.



Little fella comes home tomorrow and will see the lights all around the conservatory (big hammer, little nails, sore thumb " but I did put my own lights up!!!!) and he can trim the tree. Bigboy won’t come home right now... so, tho we usually wait, little fella and I will do it tomorrow. I have some special things to put on it this year and I will save the BigBoys decorations that he puts on each year ‘til he comes home! S-boy will be very excited.

So wish I could bottle a scent and send it to y’all.... the smell is just divine out there...

Candles all around the conservatory... love my candles.

Very tired today... need an early nite...not firing on all cylinders, not right at all today.

We just got home from another party - and I am pooped! It was much more fun than I thought it would be - laughed a lot and I LOVE that!

Hi crew, late start on posting downunder today, heaps of work ahead. Lovely tree Izzie, how on earth did you guys get that inside, back breaking work no doubt. Poor old Dad, how can you do that to him, why didn't you call for the Beagle, you know how young, strong and virile he is.

Mismi lovely to hear you had a great time at the party, those Christmas shows at this time of the year, bring all of us a little closer together. Our big show is Christmas Eve, with both sides of the family having a get together.

Thank you sweet Dutchy. Christmas is a wonderful time of year. I have finally learned not to be uptight - I think. I do what I can for others - enjoy as much of it as I can, and do my best not to worry about the rest. This has been my favorite year so far...I am having fun!

I am having another night of sleepy but no sleep - what' s up with that? I am not worried...just not sleeping. hmm.
