@Rockhead,
I have a cat...

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m50/misimi40/IMG_0015.jpg

Levi - He is my first child...and he does snuggle but only for a minute before he gets on the fuzzy blanket on my bed...he LOVES that fuzzy blanket.

Off to work. Hope it is good. I miss my babies...can't wait to get to hold them. I hope you all have a great day and I will see you later!
hugs,
mis

@mismi,
Morning Crew...

LOVE YOUR LEVI MIS!!!! Oh..... and oh... again! This house needs a kitty.

Feeling much better today thankfully.

Had a very upsetting day at work. Avoided the Headteacher about my surgery (everyone there knows but I haven't actually told her yet coz she was a little alcoholically challenged on Friday nite!) and have been worrying over the weekend because the county finance officer told me at the pub that I would be going down to half pay if I took more time off. I don't earn much to begin with but I get by and am more fortunate than most ... However, this was the opposite to what personnel have told me - they say it wouldn't be cumulative and as I would have been officially back at work for nearly 7 months by next Feb then I would be paid full pay. Appararently they are wrong - 2 separate personnel officers. Payroll have confirmed that. So... I couldn't hold it together at work together and bubbled like a baby with one of my teachers - but as yet, I have avoided the Head - can't do the crying at work thing with her - that would be pants and unprofessional and actually, not fair on her.

SO... now waiting for personnel to call me at home and have to figure out what to do from here.

Nem'mind. What will be will be. I guess my health has to come first. It will all be fine in the end.

So, the sun is shining and it's warmed up today. My tree is looking rather splendid in the conservatory - still nekkid - but it will be dressed when the little fella comes home. He's asked to stay at his Grandmas tonite - they are cooking..... soup.... hodgepdoge soup - a little bit of everything and whatever else he finds. He also gets to see his brother over in the town this evening, so he is happy. He's coming to work with me on Wednesday - we have the school Crimbo lunch - all the staff serve the children on that day and it's a big hoopla for the kids and governors. Should be nice for the them.

K - gotta crack on with some work from home - nice work, making the Crimbo cards for the school helpers and govs. - photos of the plays, collages... my kinda work! HA!

Catch y'all later. x

edit: Tulip you snuck in as I was writing... you at work? All k? Hugs gal x

@Izzie,
Izzie, your work day ended and my work day (and mismi's work day) is just beginning. I hope the school shows understanding about your time-off worries.

Going away for awhile. Not sure where yet. I'm just going to drive. Need to get away from parents (who are upset with me right now). And other pressures. I just need to drive. I just wished I could get away from "me." That would be ideal. I know that probably makes no sense. But it does to me. Pure isolation. But how do you do that. I don't even trust me with myself right now. What kind of sense does that make? No phone. No internet. No people. Where is that place? I don't know. I feel guilty about boarding my dogs but I can't take them with me.

Have a good Christmas everyone. And happy birthday dj. You too Dutchy, on the 24th.

Take care and just know I love you guys. xo

@OCCOM BILL,
Hi to all the crew. Jumped ship for a while - been busy, busy, busy - did not have time to even check e-mails. But back to babysitting this week so some computer time happening. Been reading back and it looks like it has been an eventful few days with flooding (OMG Izzieliz) and birthday today for DJ - Happy Birthday - Try and Missy at it again (luv your cat Missy) Brooke - take some "me" time out and take care. Beagle what rain we had - we have a dam half full and if we could get the same rain again for a couple of days it would fill - that would be a great Xmas gift. Hugs to all.

Good day all. Monday. Monday.
Hope all is well with everyone.
Mismi. I knew a cat that looked like that once.
Where is JustBrooke going now?
Everyone has to keep it together for the holidays, keep it together.
Dutchy. What are you getting me for your birthday?
How is the tree Izzie? What is going on top?
Until tomorrow.

@verbivore,
Hiya verbivore, sorry to hear about your predicament, please do not feel that way and don't close any doors, come around here and talk to the folks. We're all eager to learn something from your part of the world, different cultures, different people, different ideas make it all very interesting.

Brooke you've got the date right, what marvelous memory you have, don't be away to long I want to invite you for a drink. Take care my friend.

Captain, lovely photo of Pa, he doesn't look to perturbed with that tree, hope the little fella loves it when he spots what you've organised for him.

Been in town all day, now going to relax with a couple of stubbies, and do a little posting and keep a2k rolling.

A big cheer to all the crew especially DjjD, Happy Birthday..

@Dutchy,
I see several kitties that look like Levi Alex - but he is a sweeeeeeety. He comes when I call, he jumps out from behind chairs when I am walking rhough the house...(ambush) and he never uses his claws when he plays with me - but he will tear the professor up...makes me laugh.

Thank you Tulip - how are you today? Thoughts are with you.

Verby - I am so sorry you are lonely - please know that we are here to listen and to play. But I know sometimes you need 3D friendship. I pray you find it soon.

Izzie - how did you sleep hun?

Brooke - whatever you do, wherever you go - know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Want you to be happy - you have accomplished so much! You deserve it! (((Brooke)))

Dutchy - how is that garden looking after all that rain? I hope you and Mrs. Dutchy are doing well...Enjoy your evening Dutchy and rest well!

wait a second...how did I miss Izzie's Dad?

Hope you had a great day dj!

Hugs to all - (I accidentally typed Jugs to all at first- HA!)
Good day for all! (and night for those who sleep)
smooches

@Izzie,
Hi hi hi! i am beat. Seriously - marathon Christmas shopping and Christmas programs and now about to start making fudge and divinity for Teachers gifts. Egads...I am tired. I don't think I have eaten yet today either. I did have a Full Throttle (energy drink) and seems to be buzzing quite a bit from that and my vanilla latte from Starbucks. HA!

Them theres alotta birds dj. My mother in law is deathly afraid of birds. I put a fake crow on our stair rail (not on purpose - it was a Halloween decoration) and she was walking up the steps and almost had a heart attack! Birds are adorable - but she is scared to death of them. That picture would be a nightmare to her!

Hugs to all !

@djjd62,
Morning all. Will take pics of the dam but it is still a little sad to what it once was. Nice to see all the pics of everyone's trees and decorations. Nice pics of the bird DJ. Izzieliz thanks for asking re papa and yes, we finally have put a finger on what has caused his marked decline so quickly. He has extremely high iron levels and whilst googling found this can lead to Parkinson's. Not the shakes but very slow shuffling gait, not swinging his arms whilst walking, stooped walk and dizziness. Took him to a specialist and run this theory by him and he agrees and started him on medication and this will be his third week and already we have started noticing a slight improvement. He goes back tomorrow and the doc may "tweak" his dose. Hope your school/work problems sort themselves out.
