FQsis hubby had a car accident last nite - he's k-ish... in hospital - no broken bones that they can find but ... he's on a lot of morphine... and being "happy K" - he has a mad sense of humour at the best of times - which always helps.... love him

50mph...car pulled out in front of him - didn't get a chance to even hit the brakes - they think the other guy was dazzled by the sunlight...

Sis thinks bro is going to be alright, but it's been a loooooong nite and she can't return to the hospital for a few more hours. We'll know more then.

So... any spare gentle hugs - please posivibe them K and FQsis direction - and plenty healing thoughts up London way.

K is a mighty strong fella - nothing left of the car - but he's good at bouncing off airbags - thanku VW!

Oh my goodness Izzie what sad news to receive so late on a Saturday night. Please tell FQ I'm thinking of them both and sending plenty of vibes their way for a speedy and full recovery.

Howdy sweet folks, I have returned from the latest convention tired and not feeling myself; but the doc said that’s a good thing, as it will save my sight!

I am sorry I could not get on line, but do you know the outrageous phone charges these classy hotels expect for internet access! Why, by the time I had emptied the mini bar and watched the raunchy TV channel I had just about maxed out the charge card I found.

Still, things began to look up when this sexy cutie in the lobby asked me if I played around; I told her I hated golf, but she took pity on me and invited me back to her room to play games; I was eyeing up her assets and out of the blue she demanded $100 bucks; I, in a tone of righteous indignation, pointed out that I had not even made my move and might yet jump her properties.

Then before I could chance my luck; I heard a key in the door, “Oh my god” said cutie “that’s my husband”. With that sudden unwelcome news, the Monopoly board went flying and I made a somewhat inelegant exit via the fire escape. I think it was the sudden change of temperature, what with the hot room and the cold Nue Yawk air (OMG I seem to have picked up the accent!)

May I lend a shoulder for support for all of you hurting right now; they say you can’t change history, but if you gather all the good bits from the past and make a change this very day, come tomorrow you can look back and you will have changed history. As for the bad bits; that as they say, “Is just history!”

I must say it is good to be back at the shack in Bel Air, but I may absent myself next w/e due to the fact that a bunch of southern city gals have rented the place in the hills, so I might mosey over and take a peep.

Well we are taking the kids to Boo at the Zoo tonight. They are beside themselves excited. Other than that - we are just hanging out and working in the yard. yuck.

U.T. is playing MS State today and it's not on TV - We can only hope U.T. will win - no assurances though. We stink this year. Truly. We are watching Georgia and Vandy right now. I would love it if Vandy could win - but I don't see that happening.

FQsis is driving my bro home - he's had CT scans and no internal bleeding... very shaken and stirred and gonna have heap big bruising... but he's going home and still got a sense of humour. LOVE MY BRO!!!!! oh..... what a worry.

He did tell me FQSis had insisted he stay home and cut the grass before the ambulance took him away last nite... but he's gonna be resting up for the next week or so and having a little "settling of his insides".

I can't tell you how relieved I am that all is well. FQsis is doing well too - nasty scare tho.

Thanku for your posivibes and healing thoughts. He was being watched over last nite fer suuuuuuuuuuure.

Missy.... happy day to you sweet girl...oh camping - love it!!!! You need to be there with FQsis and me - we are the best campers in the world!!!!! You can imagine a? Last time we went camping - OH MY OH MY OH MY! It was such a riot.... by the end of the weekend I had "flared" badly and could not walk - well, you have never seen anything so funny as FQ trying to walk me/carry me to the shower block - oh..... such good times, cheesy dog, little fella learning to whistle, "Nine Stone Cowboy", K and ex putting tent up inside out (I've been on a mission!), marshmallows and a campfire, mist in the morning, a beach where you had to climb Mt.Everest to get back to the campsite, dog running away from dog handler and friends turning up at midnite not knowing what pitch we were on shouting our names out the car window, and a "lost and found" K-ears-son!!!!!!! (FQsis will be peeing herself when she reads this) ..... a whole barrel of laughs. LOVED IT!!!!! x

I had a strange thing happen this morning. My doggies - that love each other and that I love were in the kitchen chewing on their bones when a fight broke out - it was scary. They were going at it with teeth bared and I can't figure out why. He is fixed...she is fixed...they both had bones. I did not see what started it - I was washing dishes. I put both their fuzzy butts in the back yard once they settled down - they were not paying one bit of attention to me as I called their names and clapped my hands and stomped my feet. Now they are laying together on the steps looking like it never happened. So weird. My crazy little girl and boy.

Anyway...I gotta go do something constructive. I think I will clean out the linen closet. I got G-baby's toy box cleaned out this morning. I am trying to gather his old baby toys and decide which ones I want to keep for my grandbaby's (I know that is a long way off - but - I should be prepared - it's what my Mom did and it thrilled me to see my kids playing with toys I played with when I was little) and what we are going to give away.

Things here are doing ok so far.
Stacy's daughter Laura is still pregnant, as is Dereks girlfriend.
Derek is Stacy's oldest son, and is, IMO, worthless.

He wont work, and neither will his gf. They are living off of her parents.

Its rather cool here right now, and has been all week.
I have been working long hours, trying to earn a living.
Right now I have a slight cold, or maybe its just allergies, I dont know.
But either way its annoying .
Ithink its allergies because the local farmers are harvesting their corn crops, and I have corn fields on 3 sides of me.

We are going to the auction tonite, to see what we can find.
Usually there are some good deals, but sometimes its all junk. Either way, is a fun way to spend an evening.

I gotta go for now, put I will write more later.

FQsis is not a blood sister.... K is not a blood brother.... but they are my family. We have spent our whole lives together. K was my brother's best friend... and FQ is mine ( shes my other self ).... took them 20 years to get together... but they got there in the end! He's always been called my bro... since we were kids - well, he is - he's just my bro. FQsis parents and my parents were best friends....

we're very lucky to have one another.

Now girl.. YOU and hubby ... vitamin C - hot water bottles, 2 x cuppa hot chocs and off to bed hun! So hoping you will both feel better soon. Love ya girl x
