Oh....another quick post trying not to be too antisocial before everyone goes to bed in McKinney....

k - can't ruin RH reputation.... but.... for all those that know him - he could not have gone to more trouble than he did - totally spoiled us, so generous and he has the most gorgeous kitty, Stinky. (I'm missing Stinky too! This kitty is fab - he does somersaults where he dissassociates his head from his tail and they go to battle - hysterical!) OK - he's a tough guy...... tough on himself to make us the wlecome guests in the world.

JPB - I think we have known each other forever - she spoiled RH, me and the little fella - sent you email hun.... hope you are sleeping big. Hoping I will be able to start posting some pics tomorrow.

Eva - so wish we could have got together.... I made you a promise - that I will return and I'm looking forward to it already - the bedroom was beautiful ... well, you whole house was fab - the best bit being the chair in the basement with the dogwarmer beside me....could so have fallen asleep there. Just was in a wonderful comfort zone with you and JPB and your "big boy" and the little fella. Time was so short - but I will remember every minute of it. You have the most incredible smile - your whole face lights up ... such a pleasure to be with you.

I long for the day when the whole crew can get together.... it surely has to be possible... Missy, Dev, Babbling.... JPB, Special Agent.... so want to meet all of you......Indeedee and BEAgle - it will happen. And of course our EBgirl and HIM and the HBG's......

Hey Darlin' girl - happy to see you... yep - didn't have my avatar on the computer here so am improvising - I was looking a little insipid as a celtic box!

Well what a nite it has been - have slept for about 2 hours.... we had a 10 hour thunderstorm - have never known anything like it - the whole sky was lit up over and over and LOUD..... how LOUD can thunder get?... well, had us all trembling a little. It was fab - but the torrential rain has caused a little bit of flooding - the lightening only stopped about an hour ago - I didn't put my head down til 3.30 and by 4.30 was awake drifting, and by 5am was wide awake and not going back to sleep - and the little fella standing in my doorway as he was scared - bless. The power was out so I couldnt even get back online

Kelly says that after one loud boom something happened to the roof which is now leaking..... mmmmmm NOT GOOD! drip drip drip...

However, feel pretty good right now (will go bed later) and it's finally stopped raining tho I think we are due for more. Hopefully we won't be going thru storms on Friday when we leave here. Ugh.

Need to go get a suitcase today - mine has split bigtime - can't think why!

Todays achievement: Hung a bobber. Long car, short garage.
Devriesj. I use to cringe when I saw the two words together. Lobster. Ravioli. Until, one day my wife ordered, and left half a plate.
The place we go to, serves a pesto sauce on half, and the traditional marinara, on the other half.
Now I'm a bit hungry. Since the garden has been maturing, I've been making a run at it. Tonights menu had fresh bread, lightly buttered, topped with a sliced tomato, prosciutto, cheddar cheese. Under the broiler, until cheese is bubbly, with a few black spots.

Alex, I know what you mean about the lobster ravioli thing. I felt the same way, but this stuff was goo-ood as well! Wow, your dinner sounds yummy. We had grilled steaks (a rarity for me) with some of our garden vegies - beans, tomatoes. Yum!

Morning crew, Eagle been flying around a bit to see what's going on at the threads, still bamboozled by a few things but will get there I guess. Glad you were comfortable at the house. That's important to me. For those who think I must live in a palace...I don't. JPB, Izzie and I all talked about the cost of housing while they were here. It's MUCH easier to live well in Oklahoma...we have the lowest housing prices in the country.

I will remember your visit, too, dear Izzie. Both you and JPB are delightful company, and even if we'd had a whole week, I know I'd still be here complaining that it wasn't long enough.
