WE'VE LANDED!!!!

We're safe.

It's been a long 24 hours with no sleep - but we are here and with our Texas family. I didn't do so good with the travelling - bless the inventor of the wheelchair and aeroplane crew!!!!

Met some great people over the last day - including a nice immigration officer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Little fella has been unbelievable - truly - he has just been swimming in the neighbours pool for the last hour and we have just watched a fab lightening storm. Landed in 102degrees - and been eaten by mozzies that seem to like the Brit blood.

Desperately need to sleep so will post pics and stuff tomorrow - but just to let you all know we are here - and safe - and tomorrow we shall enjoy.

BEAgle - special times for you and yours - have a wonderful time. xox xxxx

Missy - have a fab time too - glad S-boy is doing better and you are going away for a bit.

Will see y'all tomorrow - gotta sleep.

Lovin y'all.

Razz

AH -- There she is!!!

Glad to see you safely on Texas soil, Izz.

I'm sure little fella will have a blast and so will you once you get some decent rest. I'm equally sure the Bubba's will give you all the TLC and support you need.

Rest, rest, rest. Then enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Good question about steering the ship, deedee!!!! It surely won't be me unless we want to run aground.

I'm glad you're having a wonderful time, dutchy. Let 'em spoil you rotten. We can put you back in your proper place once you get home Razz

Happy day, all. Big deadlines looming so it's another day with my nose to the grindstone. I'll try to check in later.

Howdy folks; the weather in Tennessee is dry hot and sunny.

I hope Brooke is getting some rest, Lzzie, Mismi and Dutchy having the best of times; and all the rest of you getting back more than you give.

BTW did Lzzie mention that if you all go down with Dropsy, I can be acting temporary assistant washer-up.

Hey crew

Oh lovelies - lovely to be here - little fella and I are settling right on in. Oh....we're home.

Babbling - so good to see you my friend - will be calling you soon! Love you. Getting a VOIP set up.... when I do... will be ringing.

QueenDev - PM me your number hun and I'll sort!

So.... what have we been up to...

well - I did start writing yesterday but was too tired to post... but will do so now even tho it's actually quite boring and seems ages ago...

We're HERE…..
Where is here…. Well, right now sitting in Newark - OMG - the flight was OK - very long - little fella was so excited (as was I) with the clouds ….we didn't sleep…. - the flight was full - they didn't have a vegetarian meal for the little guy but he was cool with that….towards the end of the flight it got real turbulent - S-boy was brilliant - by this stage I had started feeling very poorly - then, the phone went missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, panic set in - I couldn't check the bag coz you can't move - and then I was really not very well. So, everyone got off the plane when we landed - I was put in a wheelchair and trundled through airport, through security (rather nice immigration officer who said he was 5 days older than me so we discussed that '64 was a good year to be born) - collected bags - back through security - has some nasty security officers there but hey ho - all whilst I was sat in a wheelchair (I have never been so glad to see one of those before) - then, as someone else had got my bags - the duty free had been left on the plane and somebody will benefit from a bottle of Baileys and 5 bars of Toblerone (gutted!) - arrived at domestic departures and the gate had changed. Then…. We sat down and the little fella burst into tears… talk about hot and tired.

So we are sitting here waiting for the next flight to Dallas - another 4 hours on the plane….. oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh - I hope the flight isn't full and maybe we can catch a little sleep. Little fella has just come over having gone to order some "fries" - he said "they look like fat caterpillars" in New York. Oh - you should have seen him when we flew in - whilst I was deep breathing and doing my level best not to be ick - he was holding on so tightly to my hand and positively "gleeful" - just so enthusiastic about seeing the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. It was fab!!!!!! We were adopted by the lady who sat next to us who just was so enthralled by the little fella's zest - she said it was a joy to hear a little person be so happy and enthusiastic about everything. She knows all about you guys now and the journey here - I know all about her family and divorces and all that…… she was just lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Her hubby had died at Christmas and her son and DIL live in Noo Yawk! blah blah blah......

(flight was only 3.5 hours - no sleep - but not as bad as the first!)

anyhoo - last nite we went to the neighbours - OMG - it's like living in a different world - the houses, pools.... just stunning.
had to run and catch the flight...

we love clouds (well, I think y'all know I have a castle in a cloud.... but the little fella took some pics out the window... (I know, just a cloud - but gorgeous!)

Shocked

OMGosh.....

Where're y'all at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Well - it's 5.30am - I think....actually I'm not sure about that..... it may be 4.30am... I can't see a clock!!!!! and I'm wide awake. Kelly and I both fell asleep on the bed last nite, at whatever time it was, early-ish, having been yabbering - and now I'm absolutely wide awake whilst the house sleeps.... so I shall go and make a cuppa (yes, of course I brought my tea over) and go watch the sunrise. What time does the sun rise?????????????

(where did everyone go.....???)

Hi Izzie great to see you enjoying yourself but watch those mozzies. Thank you for thinking of us and this is to let you know we had a great time last night with the family.

How is this for openers, pre dinners drinks, 4 rum and coke on ice. Next the entree, Turkish Bread and dip, dozen prawns with rice and garlic sauce, main meal 500gram succulent eye fillet on the bone with special potatoes and vegetables, followed by Vanilla Icecream with strawberries and French crepes, with that some top Champagne and White/Red Wines.

Believe it or not in bed by 2am and out again by 7am fishing! Did very well and some nice fillets will make the trip back home. Unfortunately son will be off to Europe on Tuesday so that means the end of my fishing as I do not have the necessary certificates to take the boats to sea. Weather is cold and blowy with rough seas.

Camera is obviously working overtime, very impressed with your pictures, looking forward reading more of your adventures. Hugs from downunder and take care.

Izzie, what a fantastic form on that dive. If Jupiter was a perfectly straight forty five degrees from where you entered the water, then all we'd have to do is follow the direction your feet are pointing, to get there.
How's devriesj been? Has JustBrooke been working? Dutchy, what type of fish are you catching? Tryagain, your from Tennesse?..Now things, are making more sense. Hello to FlavourQueen and mismi.
Izzie, are you going to indulge in some famous Texas barbecue? Brisket, baby back ribs, pulled pork?
Have a nice day everyone.
