Hey kids - I'm back in from the rain - again!

We need to have at least 48 hours without rain here so I can get my front steps fixed, but we're in the middle of some sort of record-setting summer, as far as rain goes The upside is, it doesn't matter that the old watering hose split at the end of last year and I hadn't bothered to replace it til recently (will I need it this year?).

Dear Brooke I am deeply sorry that it was not to be; I am sure the innocent baby Nathan is being well cared for in another place and little Noah will grow stronger each passing day and carry his sprit throughout his life.

I have known sorrow and joy, but not at the same time; I hope the kind and deeply felt words of all the others will lend support to you, Mom, Dad and the whole family at this difficult time.

Good morning all. What a lovely idea Brooke to do that with the posts. You are lucky to have a family that pulls together in times of sadness like this.

Izzieliz - thinking about what Brooke said about getting the "happy" back on board - we should be holding a "bon voyage" party for you.

Very cold here this morning - including a frost but these mornings usually turn into beautiful afternoons.

Hubby has a couple of health issues at the moment so will be running around doing some tests with him. Munchkin turns two this weekend and have a few interstate grandparents (3 - son-i-l's parents divorced) flying in to join the activities. Daughter has just found out she is expecting again so I guess in a year I will be babysitting two munchkins.
