Morning ehbeth. Goodnight FQ. Hey Dev - yeah I am feeling a lot better now thank you. So many different bugs going round. Just hope the older ones don't get anything. It seems to hit them the hardest. You should go and get it checked. Boy, I have a cheeky currawong sitting on my window ledge pleading for food. This one has even come inside before when I have left the window open for the cats.

Currawong is a bird about the size of a crow - grey in colour and as cheeky as the magpies. I have about ten magpies, fifteen currawongs and many crows which I feed each morning. The currawongs have a nice call.

Oh yeah - just looked them up - they are like a cross between and crow and a magpie Smile

FQsis and I are both supersitious about things... walking under ladders, shoes on a table.... etc.... but magpies - well - we HAVE to salute them, every time you see one. We have loads here - on the way to work I look like I have a permanent tiwtching arm - salute, down, salute, down... either that or the Queen is hiding behind many bushes and I am the most respectful royalist person in Devon! Smile

I didn't know about that superstition. I have raised a few magpies that have been thrown out or fallen out of the nest. They are quite a funny bird and even though I have always had cats the magpies just get right in there with them at feeding time. The funniest thing is when I have to teach them to fly. Me running with the bird perched on my arm - and eventually they get the idea and starts flapping and takes off.
