Good Morning ......forgive me for not reading back. But I wanted to give you an update on Kimmie and the babies.

She is no longer in labor. They have that under control. They had a specialist in to see her because of the concern for Baby B's heart and weight. Everything is being tightly monitored, so they are all in good hands.

They have a better handle on the actual weight of both babies. Baby A is at 4 pounds and the little guy is at 1 pound 12 ounces. The percentage of the difference in weight between the two is more bothersome to the doctors than the actual weight itself, I think.

So anyhow......everyone is resting and being well taken care of. And the rest is in God's hands. I have no more tears to cry and worry gets ya nowhere.

So pleased that Kim's labour is under control now - I hope she'll continue with bedrest tho and not be running around - well, you know what I mean. Is she going to stay in hospital for a while longer?

I'm sure they will be keeping a very close check on the babies weights - baby A seems to be in a fan assisted oven and Baby B in a slow cooker - there is nothing anyone can do - except do as you're doing and keep your prayers focused.

More candles, music and peace for Kimmie - and hopefully a little more time for the babies to mature. Good news that the prem. labour is under control tho. Lots of rest for her.

Hey Izzie ....... Yes, Kim is still in the hospital and I doubt she will be coming home anytime soon, or as long as the little guy needs a good looking after.

Between me, Mom, and Tracy (sister) ... we're taking care of the kids for Kim so she has no worries there. Rob (Kims husband) took some soothing music into her and I know that plays a lot. Plus he spends all of his free time with her since he doesn't have to worry about taking care of the other children. And that, probably more than anything ...keeps Kim calm. Those two are pure soulmates and have always passed a lot of strength back and forth when one or the other needs it. Just a great relationship with a lot of caring and love.

Soooooo...this is gonna be a worry-free, shake the cobwebs outta my hair kinda weekend! Slow and easy and stress free. Last night I fell asleep early and slept...and slept.....and slept! Today I am overloaded with energy!

Made a promise to be on call for volunteer work at the shelter this whole weekend. That was set up back in May when they found out they might be short handed because of vacation scheduling. So I can't back out. So there's that. If they need me. Other than that......I am free to spread my wings and fly! ( Or tuck my wings in - and sit and just be lazy. :wink: )

Izzie take care of yourself today. I know you have lots to do to get ready for your trip. Just don't over-do.

Babbling - such good news... glad she is staying in the hospital - best place for her and the babies right now - and it must be so reassuring for her to know her family are taking care of the big kids. Hope you manage to have a quiet weekend and don't get a call, but know if you do get that call that you would be the best person anyone in that situation could have to help them. Good for you girlie - you are brilliant.

QueenDev - oooooh "girl stuff" - not so good - just rest up for the weekend hun - grass will grow, Things will do, hubby will be coco - go and rest. Got a lot of thinking going on here about timings etc - Chicago will be a go-er - but may have to fly back - not sure I will manage the 1K miles back to Dallas. mmmmmmm thinking on that.

EBGirl - that did make me laugh. I love it that my friends (FQsis and Tulip) are on here - it's really great. Having my Dad on here...... ooooh that would be..... different. Izzie......homework assignment done! I don't think I can draw Kim in the hospital. She looks too drained. Her face is puffy. And unless my eyes and my mind get in sync....I can't draw anything. It's gotta come from my mind first.

So here she is. Looks like her during the happier points of her pregnancy.

My scanner was giving me fits......I finally got it to scan and I scanned it crooked. Don't have time to try and redo it. KK.......I have to run for a couple hours. Have a great rest of your day, everyone!

PS- her hair is long but not quite that long. I wanted it longer in the drawing so her hair can be sort of a warm blanket for the babies.
