Busy day for me today.... little fella breaks up from school at 2pm and then we are going to Tulip's son's Summer Fayre (briefly) as Tulip is with S-girl for birthday treats with the littl girlies and bringing F-boy back here.

Little fella is actually off for 9 weeks now - so, going to have to figure out some plans. mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

So, must crack on for a bit - I have lost a huge framed print of Bryce Canyon - this picture is enormous - how in the world can it be lost!!!! Curiouser and curiouser!

We've been up & at 'em today. Thing 2 decorated his bike yesterday for a neighborhood parade today. We've got plenty to do around here since hubby has the day off for the holiday. Gotta RE-rototill the yard since the topsoil migrated to the low corner of the yard. But we shall also plant grass. Yay! Once he gets home from purchasing it, I shall be busy, busy, busy all day & fireworks tonight. The watching kind, Dutch- lest your little mind wander elsewhere! So, I doubt I'll be back on before tomorrow. Have a happy!

Wow the Eagle has surfaced after a great night out. The team lost but who cares, the food was great and the company even better. Had my first sleep in for years and feeling good this morning. Trust all our friends in thed US had a great holiday. Bless you all.

Oh man... we had a lie in!

Little fella had fallen asleep by 8.45pm - he was so wiped - I had a late nite - and we got up late.

Now....today is a grumpy 'ole day outside - so we lit our first fire. Yeah yeah, it's summer - but the little fella wanted a fire.... it's lovely. He has my camera is taking pics of it - so will post one later - just love a fire - always had big open fireplaces, but this is a wee wood/coal burner - and kicks out some heat. It's super-duper-littlefella-fire.

Got a big huge leak in the conservatory and quite a bit of water coming in - hey ho - the windowsills are clean.

We're thinking of driving into the city today to go and look at sofas! Might just take a look. (waiting on the meds to kick then - then off we'll go!)

Hoping that everyone in the US had the best Fourth of July and all are well today.
