Just a quick peak to say hello. Pleased to see everybody is in great spirits. Enjoying the pictures from the different places. Having said that, I might as well join and show you my part of the world. This is Port Lincoln, the town where my son and family lives, and Dutchy spends a great deal of his time fishing. Smile

Izzie.....WOW! That is amazingly beautiful! What a Christmas card that made! I took quite a pictures this morning and late afternoon. I think you've given me some ideas for my cards this year. Thank you for sharing that!

Dutchy....That looks like paradise! Was thinking how awesome it would be to have a house on top of that hill.

There are houses there "JustBrooke", the view is fabulous but it is unfortunately usually very windy, that's why the place is called "Windy Hill". Smile

Oh Dutchy - that's so fab.... Very Happy What a beautiful place to live.

hey

can we have an Aussie A2Kmeet on that rock in the middle of the pic. Hey, how great would that be - we could anchor up and take a stroll through Port Lincoln and go and have a picnic on the hill, looking out towards our ship. (your son of course could be the guest of honour and an honourary crew member)! How happy would that be a? Smile

Right, this little lady is going below deck to get some shuteye. Shocked

It's been a nice day. Have been a little naughty - got a little tired of wheeling around, it's very painful for the skirting boards in a Victorian House when the wheels keep bashing them (poor skirting boards - so not fair!) whilst the blonde whose spinning them is lousy at negotiating corners..... so have been walking! I know, I know - well, I'm telling you guys so you know all is well with me - just don't tell the doc k?

It's actually been fine - oh believe me, it's not an easy walk ... but the cast protects the right foot and the left kinda shuffles along. Won't be dancing anytime soon but hey - I've been at eye-level with the pictures on my wall. How cool is that? Need to rest up now so they can heal.

DON'T TELL THE DOC alright - this is my confessional here and you cannot repeat what I tell you. It's really fine - and I'm happy.

(Understand why you're not supposed to walk - if you bend over even slightly the wires hit the floor and I nearly hit the roof - ouchy! That'll learn me)

So... ships log ending 2.55am.

Izzie's off to meet her dreamcatcher.

Nite all. x

(RH - music to my ears Smile )
(JPB - hope you're back safe and sound Smile )
(mismi - missed you Crying or Very sad )
(TTH - hope the shoulders k, how'd it go at the docs?) Confused
(Bear - have a happy hunni Smile )
(Nite Indeedee Smile )
(and Nite Babbling Smile )
(Nite Stormy Smile )
(BabyBlue - you're just wicked Cool )

(mismi - come back when you can - but hug those babies from me - lovin u girl x)

Crew - you are the very best Smile

Thanks, Brooke. Good to see you too. I missed this last night. I closed down for the night (literally and figuratively) right after posting this. Hotels and good night's sleep don't usually go hand in hand. Beautiful snow pics. The ones of the flooding bring back memories of last summer. How's your pond?

It's good to be home, even with all the new snow.

Izzie - um... glad you're happy after your stroll, but ....

I know you know but ....

quit it!

Good Morning!

It got COLD down here again...I really don't like it at all! The weather needs to make up it's mind and be one way or another. This going back and forth from highs in the 60's and then the next day high in the 40's and windy...well-ugh. Driving me nuts.

Hello Brooke and JPB. JPB I know you are glad to be home. I love my bed. Miss it when I am gone from it!

Good to see you both.

Port Lincoln really does look like a wonderful place. And the snow pics were amazing. We don't get snow like that here...it's mostlly brown.

And Good Morning to the rest (or Good Night - I know Dutch and Deedee will be heading for bed here soon) I hope you all sleep well or get all you need to done today.

IZZIE! I'm not tellng your doctor but I might have to come over there and tie you to the chair. Don't you hurt those tootsie's any more than they already are okay? Thank you for missing me...it's a good feeling

okey doke...I am off again. Have to wake up the twins and get them awake and dressed for school. This time of the morning just KILLS me. Too busy for my muddled brain.

Have a good day y'all....see you soon

JPB - sending sun your way hun to melt some of the snow (can you send a little snow here.... oh that would be lovely)! Smile Newly fallen snow is so pure.

mismi-dixie-girl... Laughing

it brings such a huge smile to my face to listen to you yabber.

We've got bright blue skies with puffy white/grey clouds today - chilly - but pretty. You know me - when it rains through the sun.... creates a beautiful rainbow! So all is good.

(my little fella is my rainbow maker .... had lotsa black clouds over the years pouring on down on my big boy - but often the sun would keep shining - that was my little fellas face - beaming at me through all the black rain and creating the most amazing rainbow with all the colours imaginable .... so you see - sun/rain = rainbows - very special they are to me) Smile

So to another day as the US awakens.... hoping you all have a good one and life treats you well today. Always stop for a minute, just a-one, through your day - and just take a real deep breath, and let the smile inside...out! Smile

K - MISMI'S TWIN NO.1 AND NO.2 - ATTTTTTTTTENTION! - DRESSED AND READY FOR SCHOOL (GBbay - stop tying your brothers shoelaces together this minute - you know they will fall over! Shocked ) Right then - get Mom to check the time on her watch.... then check another clock in case PaPa-mismi has put Mom's watch forward 2 hours  - good - now - off to school and have the BEST DAY BOYS! You both look very handsome today! Smile

Bear - you must be heading for the tree soon - hope you've had your fill of eucalyptus. Hugging you big (((((xox))))) Smile

Indeedee - sleep well too and remember those pics.

Crew - let's have a day of plain sailing Smile

Good morning!

Izzie... What are you doing getting up on those feet? Don't be doing more damage to them and slowing your recovery Sad I know it's tempting but be patient. Baseboards can be replaced, but you don't wanna have to shop for new feet!

We have a lot of new snow this morning Sad shovel, shovel, shovel....I'd rather be swabbing the deck.

Good morning everyone Very Happy
Izzie it seems you are quite a good patient. You must be a doctor's dream. I make a terrible patient Sad

Nice to see all the pictures and posts. I did read back Very Happy

oh, the shoulder......all my home exercises and the progress I was making, well that all went down the drain. I have to start all over again (except I declined x-rays, mri, steroid shot and so on). I am positive I will be good as new or close to it by using my arm and working it and trying to ignore the pain as much as I can.

oh again, it was nice out yesterday and cold. Today we are back to rain.

EDIT: MODERATOR: IMAGES REMOVED PER POSTER'S REQUESThttp://img230.imageshack.us/img230/6296/p1010663hg3.jpg

My little fella a few years back…. He was concentrating soooooooo hard…..

The big-guy when he was a little guy!

The little fella after a hard Day surfing at Chez Izzie - photos real old… but I'm on a trip down memory paddock in the summer of 2003!

Chez Izzie December 2005

And in the summer

Big-boy doing a tumble - agile big guy that he is - last summer! (Sssssh - don't tell him I posted a pic - that would be way uncool!) Shocked

OK - so that's where I'm at today. Doing a little reminiscing of days gone by. Thought I'd post some pics of where I am now….coz I got the papers to sign now for the sale of Chez Izzie - solicitors hounding me to sign - ugh - estate agents asking me send back forms - ugh ugh!

So…. Just bear with me crew and let me reminisce with y'all, if that's k? Not quite ready to close this chapter yet but…. Soon! Then I will be in my house by the River Lyd and listening to a babbling brook 24/7 (see, there was a reason the BabblingGirl came on board - she was there to remind me of the brook I will be living next to!) All crew welcome to visit Chez Izzie's anytime. Happy Days ahead! Smile

Now, onto the business of the day. Rolling Eyes

Dutchy/Indeedee - sssshhh - dream sweetly. Hugging you. Quietly getting crew to sing lullabies. Smile Smile
Mismi - did the boys have a good day at school? How are you? Smile
JPB - don't work too hard. Glad all is well. Smile
TTHun - work on that shoulder - will send you some sun! Smile
Stormy - enjoy your vacation time - am sending you one of these so you will have to shovel no longer girlie! Shocked
http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/8480/a2kmh0.jpg
Big Red - hug for the back mate. Keep smilin' a? Smile
RH - music minstrel - keep playing those toons - am listenin' hun! Very Happy
BabyBlue - wherever you are - you're still wicked! Cool

Now that we are sorted … it's a swell day crew … let's make some waves! Laughing

Hey BabyBlue - yep, it's a lovely spot here. Very lucky.

Only moving a few miles from here and the River Lyd is real pretty. Very Happy Straight off the moors and will be great for the little fella to muck about in with his buddies. Big-guy might even be able to fish in it too. It runs alongside the new Chez Izzie and when you sit in the garden, it is so lovely. Lots of dragon/damselflies, frogs etc. Fields next to me. (Will have neighbours ( Shocked ) and haven't done living in a village for many years (people - eeuw) - but new starts and bright new horizons and I reckon, if all goes to plan - it'll be a great move.

Hopefully going back to the new ChezIzzie on Friday so will no doubt yabber about it some more then Smile
