When we moved a few years back, some things were mysteriously "lost in the move."

It is amazing. It is cool in here and it doesn't run near as much. And I can actually sit on the back porch and hear people speaking to me. Quite nice. It was painful and we will be paying it off for a while...but oh well...that's just the way it is. Thanks for asking

The embarrassing thing is...it was our fault...it was like the Perfect Storm Alex. The Prof - is a literary type. He has no clue how to do most things around the house. It is just not his thing...and though I am a bit handier than him...the only thing I know about A.C.'s is to change the filter every three months.

The Unit is in the crawl space. We have a huge crawl space - I actually have shelves that I keep things we don't use that often in there. Well anyway...water has been in there...but sometimes when it rains that happens. There was a lot more than usual I noticed when we came home... Apparently the condensation pipe was clogged and was backing into the unit. The condendor grounded out and I guess that burned the coils out? Anyway...the breaker should have been tripped but it was a bad breaker so the air just kept on running. Had I been home I might have figured it out...but I wasn't and we didn't - thus the new unit. stink.

Good morrow kindly folk…Sorry I'm late but I installed a skylight in my apartment today …The people who live above me are furious!

1st Eskimo: Where did Lzzie move too?

2nd Eskimo: Alaska.

1st Eskimo: Don't bother, I'll ask her myself!

Later already!

G'day to you both.

Miss mi; you ok! What with being awake before lunch?

Dutchy; the other day I was watching Essendon playing Hawthorns aussie rules; when the link went down. Who won; the Hawks or Bombers?

Letting you all know we're celebrating downunder, even if it is 6.30am, after the Netherlands beat France 4 - 1 in EK 2008 Laughing

Izzie and Steve would know what this means to this football fan so far away from the real action. 4 wonderful goals to look back upon. Go Orange, go!
