Good Morning World

OMG Shocked BABBLING GIRL - what a terrible nite for you - I am pleased you are safe....gosh, no, I'm with JPB - I cannot imagine having never experienced a twister - but I am just so happy you are safe. My heart was skipping beats just reading your post. Buildings and material stuff can be replaced - you, our lovely Brooke, cannot. Please try to stay focused on tomorrow - don't try and sort the damage right now - just do whatever needs to be done to make your place safe - and try to keep your head straight for your examss girlie. We are all thinking of you and know you can do well - and that you will do your best. Hugging you so big right now - hope you have managed to get some sleep. We're all here if you wanna yabber Babbling.

O'BILL - it's wonderful to have you join us on the ship with one of your good friends, Babbling. Please come by when you get the chance - it would be lovely to meet you.

Missy - I do hope MIL fares better today and you are able to visit. Hopefully you and Professor had your bottle of wine together and had a big sleep.

Didge - OH MAN - look at your camp fire there - and I had to go to bed early!!!!! How lovely is that for you - it looks fab - so, as promised - here are my favourite marshamallows - Princess Pink and Whites...

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/princess_mini_pink_white_mallows.jpg

(Its a catering size back - we have a pretty big crew now so thought we should get plenty a?)

Thanku so much for posting pics - now, question is, did you see any shooting stars? Razz

Wishing everyone a good Sunday - and especially our Babbling Girl - don't work all day, have a little time for you - your brain will not take much more in by this stage - you need to shrug off any despair and relax a little - going in to tomorrow ready to write your papers. YOU WILL DO GREAT GIRLIE. I KNOW IT. Very Happy

Just so pleased to read you're safe Brooke, saw the twisters and damage on television here, and have some idea as to the enormous power of those winds. Amazing world we live in!

We have our first day of winter here, a cloudless sky, no wind and with a temperature of 24degrees celcius. A perfect day for a stroll along the beach. Attached as promised a picture of where I do my stolling, just 5 minutes from home. So different from what Brooke posted.

Good morning all :-D

I know I missed so much in here and could never catch up, but I hope everyone is well. I did catch the last few posts about Brooke and a twister Shocked , but see she's ok.

Brooke, I've never seen a tornado and just the thought creeps me all out. I grew up with the hurricanes and blizzards, so talk of tornados always gave me the willies.

Glad you're ok girl!

i'm basically due north across the lake from sandusky ohio, the lake is the only thing that keeps us from getting the storms that keep poor brooke awake, i can watch the radar and see the storms split north and south of us, with maybe 1 in 10 really bad one coming through

dj -- my irises are at that same stage of opening. The rust ones are already open, the purple are showing through, and the peach are still far behind.

Look at those beautiful flowers :-D

If I wasn't so lazy today, I'd go take pics of my new tulips, which are all in full bloom.

Maybe tomorrow if the sun would be kind enough to come out and shine on us.

Izzie,
Best of luck with your move and hoping it's a pleasant one :-D

GONE! Sad

Well, what a day - sunshine, HUGE rain, sunshine - the little fella and I started on his room -3 BLACK BIN LINERS OF "TUT" TO THROW (ugh - how do mangy old sweets end up at the back of the drawers!!! a?) Oh, it was a veritable child-gunge-swamp in his room - AH - but so much has gone. Very Happy

We have boxes of stuff to go up to my school, to the auction house, to the docs sugery for the waiting room kids to play with and to the Red Cross shop. Massive result. AND got all the little fellas stuff sorted out for school tomorrow - I even IRONED his uniform Shocked (don't worry - won't be doing that again for a while!) Very Happy

Got another removal company coming in to give me a quote at 7pm tomorrow - so that should give me my comparisons.

Bald BigBoy showed up for 5 mins - that was sad, very sad. I told him I had a date to move... he said "so what". However, strong, strong, strong - Mrs. Positive Head here at the moment and waiting to see what filling I'm am going to get in the box of chocolate life tomorrow.

Oh man - I actually really have achieved today - despite my earlier procrastination - and it feels GOOD! I am happy to be moving on.

Well done Captain, it looks like you've been a very active somebody today, proud of your achievements. Amongst it all you had time to slot in those amazing pictures, absolutely brilliant. Eagle gonna have a look around and see what else has been happening. Have an early night Izzie, life is changing early Monday morning, you need that rest!
