Morning Izzieliz - yeah everyone fine here. Glad you've got your little fellah for a week of time together before he goes back to school. Just don't do too much driving to start with. Smile

Dutchy - I will never hear the end of nagging every weekend if I give in once. He gets given free tickets every week and I certainly don't mind if he goes or takes someone else but I have to tell you I am all done with footy - can't stand the crowds or the noise. And horror upon horror (from your point of view) have been known to sit there and read a book or do a crossword. He really doesn't care who goes with him he just doesn't like to do anything alone. I am complete opposite. Love time on my own. So sorry to be a meanie - I am not going. Smile

Wish I lived a little closer ddxx, would gladly go with him, and leave you home in isolation doing your knitting. Laughing

Been in my veggie patch all morning and things starting to take shape, amazing what the rain has done, weeds up about 10cm within a week! We had a thunderstorm and more rain last night, today it is fine.

Good Morning / Afternoon / Evening

Hope all our US contingent are enjoying their Memorial weekend.

Our Bank Holiday weekend started out with fab weather yesterday... thunderstorms last nite over the South West and .... er.... somewhat breezy today - it's bl**dy blowy out there, but bright.

Might try and go for a wee drive today with the little fella and go and sit on the moors for a while. Will tak the camera if I do! Smile

Hope everyone has a fab day wherever you are in the world.

Lovin y'all x

Pretty quiet so far, not much action on the threads, so listening to a bit of music and attending to some paperwork.

HiHo!

Did I make it in time to say good morning to the captain and good evening to Dutchy?

Another busy day for grinding out work on my radar but Mr B returns home with his grandmother later this afternoon. Gramma is coming to spend a week visiting and to attend daughter K's high school graduation ceremonies on Tuesday.

Hope all is well with everyone here. I'll be wandering the decks while I have my morning coffee.

Certainly in time to meet the Eagle and share a coffee JPB, good to see you. Sure you'll have a great time with Gramma, they are usually such sweeties, and no doubt will be proud of your daughter on Tuesday night.
Wishing you all a great night.

Hi folks; I thought I would share this with ya'll: Dutchy just called me…

Me: "Hello."
Dutchy: "Hello?"
Me: "Hello?"
Dutchy: "Hello?"
Me: "Hello?"

The phone went dead. I put the phone down, and it rang again.

Me: "Hello."

Dutchy: "Hello, did you just ring me?"

Me: "No you rang me."

Dutchy: "Did I? Oh, well, the reason I'm ringing now is because you couldn't hear me when I rang you before."

Me: "Yes I could."

Dutchy: "No you couldn't."

Me: "Yes I could."

Dutchy: "No you couldn't."

Me: "Believe me, I could."

Dutchy: "Can you hear me now?"

Me: "No, of course I can't."

Dutchy: "Oh, that's all right then. Catch you later."

Good Evening All Very Happy

What a busy shoreleave day - well, not so much busy - but good tiring.

Little fella is currently practising his flute which is music to my ears! Today we ventured out. Naturally, as is the case with the good British weather, it decided to rain a little on the moors - but we bought icecreams from the garage shop and "double chocolate double caramel magnummed" our way onto the moors behind me and paid a visit to the River Lyd.

We spotted one of our BabyBlues lost sheep…. Oh Little Boy Blue - best blow your horn - this handsome devil is leading the others astray….

Looking over to Brentor Church

So… we arrived home (absolutely knackered I am by this stage) to find the BigBoy had turned up!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…… you know how you just have to watch your teenage kids do their thing…. Well, as you all know, R does not live here so I watch as silently as needs be on how he conducts his life with the help of others…. However, today - we laughed loudly (nothing else for it)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last nite he was camping on the moors…. Remember I said it was a bit blowy - no tent pegs, tent blew away - they turned up at one of the other kids houses - BigBoy fell asleep - awoke to find - NO HAIR LEFT ON HIS HEAD!!!!!!!!!! Shocked Nope, not the wind…. But 2 rather "naughty" (amusing they call it) 15 year olds who decided my baby needed a hair cut - OMG OMG OMG! Dagnabbit as Missy would say. Well, he wouldn't let me take a photo - so I had to do a sneaky one whilst he was showing off his muscles (I also had to shave his neck to tidy him up a bit).

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1020181.jpg

Fortunately he found this rather amusing (phew phew phew) - but does not quite understand that he will not get his hair back for months (he had such nice hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) However, the positive is - whilst they were snipping Rapunzels hair - he slept! And obviously he is still SAMSON with his incredible strength. Shocked

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1020188.jpg

He does press ups with his little brother on his back! Amazingly, his ability at one arm pressups is quite unbelievable. (He's not a baby anymore! …. Oh, look at his head!) (nope….. not crying….nope…not even a little tear…..) Rolling Eyes

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1020186.jpg

Anyhoo - it is a perfect evening, wind has dropped, so as the sun is setting here and all is peaceful…

WOW!

Beautiful, beautiful pictures of the moors and countryside, Izzie, and young S was obviously having a great day. You didn't by any chance save me any of that ice cream, did you?

And R's new -do is, um...., <snicker>, er.... <giggle>, I Know, I Know -- it's the perfect haircut leading into the heat of the summer. Nice and cool for the hot days ahead. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Have you mentioned to R that with friends such as these....? Glad he seems to have gotten through it all with good humor. And you, MizIzz? Are you suppressing a chortle or two yourself?

Mr B and gramma are due here shortly. I'll be scarce while she's here but I'll check in as I can -- OH, I think I hear them arriving now....

Hi everybody. Soaring over your beautiful country side Izzie, what a glorious area you live in, thank you for sharing those lovely pictures. Little fella obviously enjoyed himself and from the pictures the big bloke as well, don't worry about his hair, that is only a temporary fad, and will grow again. You must be feeling good being able to get around by yourself in the car again. Spread your wings darling.

Great photos Iz! How are you hun? Tired I know...glad you were able to have fun with S.

Funny boys...poor R. That hair will come back. That's what I do to my two - shave the heads during the summer. We are in the pool so much and they are outside so much that they smell like goats when they come in...and it seems worse when their hair is longer...I can't do G-baby's yet...makes him look to old. I keep it shorter though.

Got my nap...all the boys - even the big one went to the park and the house is wonderfully quiet.

I am going to get some things ready for tomorrow. We are going to my FIL's for a cookout. Should be pretty easy and fun.

Hey there DeeDee and JPB...and of course Wandel, Try and Dutchy..

Enjoy your beautiful day DeeDee and JPB - I hope you enjoy your weekend.

Hugs to all...

Forgot to mention my old friend tryagain, is there something wrong with your phone or do you need a hearing aid? I answered all your questions but you never replied so in the end I terminated the call.

Good morning ddxx, did you make it to the football after all, or did you let hubby wander off by himself? Smile
