Just a quick hello and goodbye to all. Missed talking but needed to do the hard work in the garden. Hey Justbroke love the lab - I am a Irish Wolfhound freak myself. You look in their eyes and see wolf eyes but so loveable and loyal. Unfortunately their lifespan is very short because of their size. I have had two lovely males who were never 2" from where I was.

Missy-I luv music too. Anything from country and western to opera!

Hello all the others I really have to go and will catch up pm tomorrow!

Good foggy morning. Just a few cobwebs upstairs.
Izzie-I should of known you'd find a cow with wings.
mismi-a bit over dressed for a library.
deedeexx-can't recall if we met. If not, hello and a handshake. Must be nice to work in a garden during the month of February.
Going down to the yabbers galley, and hitting the buffet.
Can I bring anything up for anybody?

Not for me thank you, I think I brought it all up last night! It didn't help that I threw up over a frog…and when it hopped off; I thought my liver was making a dash for freedom!

BabyBlue - fortunately for you I live near a livery - so, no worries, if you lose one.... I will send another one to you Very Happy

So my lovelies - it appears that most crew have been on shore leave for the weekend - which is a very good sign. I hope that everyone has been enjoying their well earned rest and have had good reason to smile.

Today at Chez Izzie has been a little busy….. house buyers came to yip yap yop for a couple hours (exhausting) and discuss the finer details…. You know the sort of thing - like - what's the local pub like, which local farmer empties the septic tank, what furniture will you let us buy (they want nearly all of it!) All in all - been a long day - but quite productive. Have more visitors on way. Chez Izzie is smiling house right now - tho Izzie iz little weary.

Mismi my darlin' - you are just wonderful Smile - we so need to get together. 2 hours early - I can imagine the hubby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad All dressed up and no-where to go. So laughing loud. I am ALWAYS late! Shocked For pretty much everything - rushing around at a million miles an hour usually. So glad you had a lovely time even if the hubby didn't dance. Hey hunni - no worries - dancing can be done on deck anytime you like. Sure you would have no-end of willing deckhands to tango with. Razz

Right - am lovin' you all and hope to see you around later. Smile

Crew - you are the best!

Hello sweet folks....

TTH I hope those problems get cleared up quickly for you...

Thinking of all of you others this morning...

holy cow...I feel yucky. I just want to go lay down and take a nap...think that is going to happen...hell no.

We really did have fun last night, even though my poor husband was fit to be tied. He also missed the Tennessee v Memphis game - which was amazing...and of course his team won...boy am I in the doghouse...oh well...he'll get over it when he wants something...that's for sure! Laughing I told him I thought he was quite sweet to go to the wedding with me in spite of my HUGE screw up and the fact that the biggest basketball game of the year was on TV. He really is a sweety pie. We are just so polar opposite sometimes. And to be fair he said he would dance with me...but Gbaby was crying because a little girl twirled into him and made him fall down...and I got too wrapped up in trying to get him to quit crying...by the time I did both hubby and I were ready to head out...and for some strange reason nobody was dancing but the kids-so I thought we needed to get them out so some of the other folks would get out there and dance - apparently kids running and sliding all over the dance floor is prohibitive to adults dancing...I can't imagine why.

Okey doke once again that is enough...

DDXX nice to see you, very little rain here also, just enough to wet the ground. Found your word on the 'unscramble' thread, tricky one. Smile

Izzie ...... thank you for the warm welcome! Smile I never realized how many state parks there were in O-hi-O! My fav is this one Mohican State Park. They have some of the most awesome hiking trails around!

Mis .......Sounds like you and your family have had a great weekend! I'm glad you had so much fun! It's always bad to watch the weekend slip away and realize you really didn't do anything relaxing and now it's Monday again!

Deedee..... I was curious about Irish Wolfhounds after reading your post so I went and read up on them and looked at some pictures. Wow they are certainly big dogs! And very loving from what I read and saw. How hard it must be to lose them so quickly. Though, I don't think any amount of time with our 4 legged friends is ever long enough!

I have a pet water dragon, besides my dog. He's a funny little bugger. When he takes off running he stands up like a little person and away he goes! The lab knows to get out his way. He was born in captivity and seems to think that I am his real mommy! He likes to be hand fed. One time in the summer a guy came to my door and my dragon was sitting on my shoulder. I stepped outside to talk to the guy and he didn't think the dragon was real. Until my dragon moved. The guy backed up and almost fell off the porch Laughing . I forget sometimes that they can scare people if you aren't used to them. He has his own little sanctuary that I keep him in, that my dad came over and built for him. But when I'm home I try and let him roam about with me. Once in awhile that backfires and he will scurry off and I can't find him till he's ready to be found.

I found this pic online that shows exactly what he looks like.

Have a great evening and an even greater week everyone!

Hi brook - luved the dragon. I know how it is with visitors in shock. Everytime I answered the door with Cormack or Rowan beside me they would take three steps back. When they greeted visitors in the car they could put their head through the window. I do miss them but I don't know if I could handle the hearbreak again.

DeeDee........gosh I know what you mean. Losing a pet is no less painful than losing any other member of the family. But the joy they can bring to your heart is hard to match because they are so faithful and their love is so unconditional. If only people were like that.

Izzie .... I would love to see some pics of your son's lizards! I had a couple of geckos one time, when I still lived at home. I never could tame them though. And if they got lose......look out! Very Happy Here is a pic I found online of what they looked like.

I finally ended up giving them to a male friend of mine. My Mom was scared of em' and one had gotten lose and he snapped his tail off when I was catching him to put him back in his cage. Of course their tails grow back and it is normal for them to do that.....but still, I felt bad!

So after I gave them a new home, I got interested in flying squirrels. We won't go there! hehe

Aww izzieliz they are cute. I have several blue tongue lizards here which I feed. But they do give you a fright because if you just see the tail go by it looks like a snake. We have quite a few snakes here in summer which is a worry for the pets. Shocked
